Few comments:
5:29 - instead of dialing the frequency by hand, simply Ctrl+click (or triple click) the knob and type in the note, e.g. "C-2"; you can also type stuff like "150ms" or "1/4" in delays, even simple equations work
7:00 - "swap L/R" swaps left & right channels around; to flip phase use the "L-" and "R-" buttons to the left & right ot it
8:50 - that's 100% true, and that's also a blessing (when you need it) and a curse (when you're OCD and can't stop tweaking stuff) :D

A few people told me about the lovely abilities of entering values by ctrl + click - but I did not know it accepted so many different strings as values. Very cool!

Great comparison and show case. Thank you. 🌻 One thing I would pay attention is the level your kick outputs. Since a higher level than your track faders can lead, with bouncing, to crazy effects. Even with 32bit float.

FYI, you can hold CTRL while clicking something in Bitwig to type a number in as opposed to triple clicking. Might be a small time saver for you.

Good question! I'm not sure what it's actually doing to the sound, but simply: I like how it changes the sound, so I do it. If it sounds good, it is good.
I hope getting corrected in the comments isn't annoying... but when you set the ratio in Dynamics to 2:1, you were doing expansion. That's the opposite of Glue's ratio of 2, which is really 1:2. It still ended up sounding cool, though!

Never be afraid to leave helpful info like this below my videos, I want to learn; and I'm still learning Bitwig.
there's just one thing missing for Bitwig's chain, and that would be soft clipper. there isn't really a dedicated clipper device, but you can use either clipper modules in FX Grid or Bit-8 with it's clip mode (which would act as hardclip, with no oversampling)
Nice! I need to add this to my "corrections" section in the next video. I didn't know there was a clipper module in grid. I'll dive into it.
@@GARDNSOUND one thing to note though, since Grid has 4x oversampling (+ antialiasing filter) any hard clipping in it can still break through the threshold, as it adds some sine ripples at the steep steps. Bit-8 doesn't do that, at least with anti-aliasing off, but for some reason it caps at like half amplitude and there's no threshold control, so you have to compensate for that with Tool before and after device. There are other ways of clipping with native Bitwig devices though, might be worth a separate video.

it's not bad, it's better in many ways, just with simplification of UI it became more confusing in some cases, till you learn it. there are few videos (including official one) that explain how it works, that will help understand how to set it up in similar way it worked for you before. and bunch of new ways it can help speed up the workflow too. I personally needed for it to be able to search not just devices, but presets too when adding new stuff to device chain, as I often use my own presets. given that Bitwig is made of mostly bare-bones devices, it makes sense that you would make your own more complete devices as presets or use some already included in packages. so more often than not it would make sense to reach for presets than making things from scratch as you build up your library.

I'm definitely more proficient with Ableton at the moment, probably 60/40. It will be 50/50 soon.
