Absolutely watch the next part SKYFALL, one of the best Bond movies ever. Great reaction to Quantum too. I think it's extremely underrated.

The drink he had 6+ of on the plane was named a 'Vesper' by Bond in the previous film
This movie was released during the 2007-2008 WGA STRIKE.
And it shows.
The scene with the woman lying dead on the bed covered in oil is a homege to Goldfinger (1964); the most influencial movie in the saga.
One thing the James Craig, Bond movies each one gets better than the last enjoy.
Roberto Schaefer's cinematography deserves better recognition
He gave this movie the cleanest and sharpest look in the entire James Bond saga
But the editing... whoo, boy it was choppy, choppy, choppy! Ugh!
You should definitely check out some of the older Bond movies Emma.
Daniel Craig's stunt driver in the movie was ben Collins who was top gear uks the stig.
There are a lot of "call-backs" to classic Bond films of the past! For instance, the image of Fields lying dead, on the bed, covered in oil is a call back to the early Bond film called "Goldfinger", from 1964. Once you start watching those early classics, from the 1960's and 70's, you'll see where a lot of these more recent films got inspiration. The later-day Bond films liked to do a bit of "fan-service" by making nods to the classics. Very cool!
I also think the spilled coffins in Haiti harken back to Live & Let Die. And the boat chase goes back to two Bond films at least.

Jeffrey Wright ( Felix Leiter) is the one play as Jim Gordon in The Batman 2022. You definitely need to watch that movie it's worth it 👌.
He was also in one of the Hunger Games (I think the 3rd one).
The stig from top gear was really driving the car at the beginning.
Yes, watch Skyfall next.
One cool theme during this movie is each action segment takes place on land, then sea, then air and finally fire representing the four elements.
Next up,Emma is 007 Skyfall...Daniel Craig's 3rd movie as James Bond.

If you think about it - Bond killed everybody who was linked to the quantum organization) Nobody was delivered for questioning and Mi-6 has only Bond's words) He really looks like a quantum's agent, who is destroying loose ends)
Good thing we (the audience) know better and can trust that Bond only serves the Crown of England.

Emma, now that we the movie going audience have the entire Daniel Craig era of Bond completed, I look back and appreciate the classic Bond films even more. Sean Connery, Roger Moore, and now even Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan's films. The one off "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" with George Lazenby is pretty good by comparison as well. Hopefully, you will get a chance to see the Bond films in release order after you get done with the Daniel Craig films. They are all fascinating snap shots of the time period in which they were made. Plus, they are more like fun adventure romps than the IMHO overly serious and kind of downer Craig films.

I have alot of the James Bond movies. I highly suggest you check out Sean Connery as James Bond ( the best James Bond IMO) From Russia with Love, Diamonds are forever, DR No, Thunderball. Great Villian, sexy Bond Girls! Thanks Emma 🎉🎉

Many people dont like this film as much as Casino Royale. I disagree. Its a worthy successor in the series with great cinematography, music and action scenes.
I’ve always had a soft spot for it. I think people overreacted because it wasn’t as good as Casino but the strike didn’t help.
