I used to like Marner the most out of the core four but Willie has kinda moved to the top for me. Hitting, checking, scoring, telling one of his teammates to STFU on the bench & dropping an F bomb on a live interview. Passion is what we like to see.
I think he may have been telling him to shoot the puck but still love the passion from him regardless! Nylander shows up when it matters and did last year too.
I've said build around Nylander before any of the others for years.
He produces in the playoffs.
After this year & his revealing comments, even more so.

Nylander is one of the few players who calls it like it is with the media. Guy goes shirtless, swears, and talks super casually. It's incredibly refreshing with how robotic and scripted most players are

As much as I've loved to dump on the Leafs over the years, if they beat my Bruins, I'll root for them all the way, I just have a thing for Original 6 teams....except if they play Dallas because I like the color green.
