This was super helpful! I know NOTHING about video editing but I am comfortable with Canva and I have pro so this will definitely help me with starting my UA-cam channel and providing quality content! Thanks for the info! Looking forward to more tutorials like these!
great video! my next video using Canva -- I'm a newbie to UA-cam creation -- I am putting together a faceless video with stock slides and presentation slides so need to add voice track separately. I have not used Canva audio yet for that video because I understand that I cannot edit audio track once I add it. I don't know yet if audio and video timing will be synced so need the ability to edit audio if needed. is that true that I can't edit audio track separately in Canva? how else would you suggest using canva for this kind of vvideo?
Good to know about this Ben. I don't spend a lot of time in Canva but they're clearly dramatically enhancing their video capabilities on all levels. I liked at 4:25 in this video where you showed how you can zoom in. That's one of those little features I appreciate and in some tools like Screenflow it's a little wonky. Thanks - Dane Golden
Thanks Dane. I was certainly impressed with the Canva video editor. Still needs a few more functions to be a real contender but it's a solid start for sure, and for many people this will be more than enough for simple social media or UA-cam edits.
Exactly the video I was looking for, I am zero technological so I love the idea of using Canva to edit my videos for my new UA-cam channel. I do see a difference in the image between this video and the actual video that you edited in Canva, any recommendation to maximise the quality while using Canva? Thanks so much for sharing 🙏🏻🔥
Hey, thanks so much for this... super helpful! Also just a heads up - I went to the foundations course you have in the description but when I went to submit my info, it says the form isn't secure and warned me from going to the next page. I wouldn't want you to be missing out on leads because it looks awesome! Hope that helps!
Thanks so much Brittany. I’ll defiantly look in to what’s going on with that on the site. I appreciate you for sharing. Feel free to reach out to me direct via email and I’ll hook you up with the foundations course or my video strategy blueprint e book :)
Thanks for talking slowly. I can't say that enough. Nothing irritates me more than young people racing through things to where you have to put the video on pause every second to figure out where they are and what they're saying. I'm familiar with Camtasia, so this looks super easy compared to that. Great video!!

I am wondering if is there a way to create the tip box and copy and paste later on, instead of redesigning it again and again?
Is it possible using the YT-URL to upload a yt-video to then edit in canva?

You’re super welcome Jennifer. I’m glad the video helped :)
For some reason I cannot edit. When i go on the timeline and rightclick nothing happens. I cant split or cut or anything. Can you help me?
Hi - it is unfortunately hard for me to work out what is going on through the comments here. Might be best to contact Canva support. All the best.
Sorry you lost me.
You should have started from the beginning!
