We should all know how important the custom thumbnails are on UA-cam to increase your video click-through rate and grow your UA-cam Channel. However, where many non-designers get stuck is on the "how" to design a great custom thumbnail quickly, easily and using free tools.
In this short tutorial I'll be sharing a process I use to create thumbnail images that isolate the subject, with an eye-catching border and great looking text. All using the free version of Canva.

I wrote in youtube search on a TV; how to create youtube thumbnails, and algoritam recommended this video at number 6. - still because you had created most atractive thumbnail, mentioning CANVA was a move in the right direction as well, and in brackets you wrote "for free" (orange colour helps a lot). I next checked how long is it, 8:58 seemed oK for me to commit(under 10 minutes i cool). I clicked, and paused it, cause wanted to give you feedback first, since I am also becoming a creator my self. For a begginer on youtube, you stroke a golden thumbnail. I'm gonna now try to replicate. Thank you on this educative content, and hope that thumbnail justifies the content !!!

Awesome thumbnail design Ben! Sometimes what I do is I duplicate the cutout version and then apply a duotone effect to it to make it pop even more.
