It has bothered me that when someone does art of the starships Enterprise, they never show the TMP refit, but will show the -A as if that was the redesign.

She's a looker for sure but let's be real, the Big D changes emotions when filmed from different angles. Like most angles you get a shot of it, look like benign generational explorer ship, but from the right angle with the right cinematography, the thing would look oppressive and like a bad idea to mess with. Just because I can say, one of my favorite ship shots in the whole franchise is the Enterprise D and Titan at the end of Picard flying side by side. It has a fantastic passing the torch "you did good kid" kind of vibe and it's fantastic.
As a 60's trek fan i loved Voyager, the NX class (Archer) and the original Enterprise. First time i saw the hybrid NX, NCC-1701 Enterprise. Seriously well done. Back in the 60's watching a cancelled show i could not even imagine this vid. Brian you are a god, thank you. What could be

Fact: USS Enterprise(CV-6), was the most decorated warship of WW-2. Various awards including 20 battlestars. Her planes and guns took down 911 enemy planes, sunk 71 ships, and damaged or destroyed 192 more. So you can say that Pike, Kirk, AND Picard had big shoes to fill.
That was breathtaking. Brilliantly done. The close-up fly-bys really emphasized how massive these ships would have been in an alternate universe to ours. Thankyou sir.
Great video. Love seeing all the Enterprises in lineup. Especially love seeing the NX Refit included. Great use of transition effects too. And I never realized how intricate the Ambassador Class’ deflector dish was before this video. Can’t wait to see the Odyssey class Enterprise F in action with the rest of the Enterprise Fleet.
Loving the close-ups, where you can see textures in the renderings (great job, BTW!) and in just watching how the progression of the ships' designs change with each "generation"; it's truly a sight to see!! To steal a line from another well-known franchise, let me just say... "FANTASTIC"!!
I know most people are going to be like "OH we only seen the F for a short time." in the show yes, in Star Trek Online however the Enterprise NCC 1701-F is quite the influence in a number of missions, along with her Captain. I think that's my only disappointment here is that there is no F, but otherwise, pretty good.

Amazing renders of the iconic ships and incredible angles to allow us to take in every bit of each version. The music is perfect and accentuates each ship so well. Masterful work!
The only one you're missing is the Phase II Enterprise. If ya gotta include the Archer refit Enterprise, it's only fair to give Phase II a chance. It is the most overlooked version of the Enterprise. I love the sense of scale, though, the subtle interior shots really help with the immersion of a flyby of a massive starship and the camera angle really helps to sell the illusion. It's easy to forget just how big these ships really are because there's no reference point in space. I would have skipped G, though, NuTrek is going through letters faster than there are shows to put them in, we barely got E and got no F, it's like they're trying their hardest to get to J without all the extra fluff in between. Everyone now is like "ooo, a new Enterprise!" and it's quickly forgotten six months later when they release yet another. It's like an Apple product now. That's my own personal opinion, though. And can we just appreciate the music for a moment? I heard all the great intros and while I never got to watch Voyager when it was current, the version of the intro music here was just epic and gave me that warm, fuzzy feeling inside.
I mean, tbf, we *did* get an F, but for barely any time, it was also in Picard S3. Luckily, if you want a lot of Enterprise F content, you can always go to Star Trek Online, which has really done a lot of detail with her, even if it mildly breaks canon.
@@brianlemley4260 Allow me another suggestion? The 'true' Enterprise-C..which Andy Probert sketched out at some point. I think Tobias Richter made a nice rendering of it, filling in the somewhat vague aft portions. Not only does it look waaaay better than the clunky, simplified form that made it to TV, but it makes the whole progression from Excelsior to Galaxy-class make more sense.
@@n.w.1803ironically, Probert’s Enterprise might have more screen time than Sternbach’s. I always thought it looked way too much like the Galaxy until I got the Eaglemoss model of Probert’s ship. Now it’s possibly my favorite Enterprise!

You know I always felt that the nx1 Enterprise should of had looked more like the engineering section than the saucer section as that was seem to be an addition that could be discarded in an emergency from the main body of the ship meant to give them more space for extended cruises that could be abandoned or used as a large lifeboat if anything went wrong

Depending on how thorough you want to be, you could add some short fly-bys of the Space Shuttle and XCV-330 "ring ship" Enterprise prior to Archer's. Also, the Enterprise-J, which can look quite neat at the right scale.
May not be real,but that was like looking at a selection of vessels fresh off the assembly line. And you had engineers out on the hull special burnishers, didn't you.
Man if sometime in the future and we do begin to explore the galaxy like they do in Star Trek we don't get stingy like they did and build Starships that can handle any situation and be able to successfully defend themselves and their crews from any threats we might encounter out there as rampant pacifisim won't cut it for us out there amongst the stars.

You forgot the sailing ship Enterprise, the Navy Carrier Enterprise, and the space shuttle Enterprise. Captain Picard had them on the wall in his ready room.
Finding enough assets and detailed images for bump mapping is proving frustrating lol. If anyone knows of a 3D model out there for reference let me know! I REALLY wanted to include the F, and as soon as I'm happy with mine I'll add it in

Finding enough assets and detailed images for bump mapping is proving frustrating lol. If anyone knows of a 3D model out there for reference let me know! I REALLY wanted to include the F, and as soon as I'm happy with mine I'll add it in

@@brianlemley4260 I would have thought Star Trek Online could have provided plenty of images for the F. But, I guess finding a suitable 3D model of the ship would be somewhat different. It is a shame that it wasn't featured more in Picard, though.
@@brianlemley4260 You should try and reach out to Tri-Angulum Studios, Trek Central, and Certified Ingame. They've all done pieces on the Enterprise-F and have some great models. Great Star Trek UA-cam channels.
