The last season of TOS was in 1968, (The Year I was Born...!!!) I grew up watching the re runs in the 70's. Was taken by my Father to see TMP when in came out in the Late 70's. That was much bigger than going to see Star Wars to me...(though I love both those creations) What amazes me about Star Trek is the emotional response that just the ships themselves, presented with near realistic models (of something that does not actually exist), with some fancy and talented lighting effects, along with the music that accompanied the entire series, can elicit... Star Trek some how, got into OUR souls. The Ships even more than the Characters. Kirk, Spock and McCoy. Picard, Ryker, Data. and all the other 'central 3' each of the series so well established are amazing and memorable. But the Ships...The Ships were Works of Art, that etched themselves into our very Souls, still, now, 40+ years later. (except Enterprise 2009, Throw that thing out, with the Bath water)

Wow! One of the best Enterprise tributes I've seen! And there's been a lot of them, of course. I'm slowly working on one myself; much more comprehensive, from the first one sailed on by Sir Francis Drake up to the starship "J", with concepts for the "H" and "I", a couple of ships after the "J" and several more in between. Building these in several different scale models too. My goal is to make a 2 hour documentary on the history of the Enterprise expanded to show much more than the short over views done so far, great as they are to watch. Also thinking of doing a companion book. Been Enterprise crazy since the Motion Picture: "All those vessels were called Enterprise." Been following that path ever since, bit by bit, piece by piece. Only the "J" was missing from your video, as far as "canon" is concerned. But I have to say: the "G" just doesn't fit for me. I much prefer the version by Rifleman 80 elsewhere on utube. I don't dislike the ship, mind you, but it looks like a 100 year throwback to the Motion Picture Era. I might have been able to accept it as an Enterprise A or B if they weren't already spoken for, but not as a successor to the F in the 25th century. The ships have always gotten sleeker and more futuristic as time passed, but after the F this looks like a museum ship! At the end of Picard, it should be Consigned to the starship museum, Not leaving it as the new Enterprise! The newest flag ship should be a step ahead from the F, not something that was dragged out of mothballs, maybe as training ship. Like I said, I like the design okay, but it should be seen in it's proper time frame. Anyway, that's my take on it, and thanks for a great video! The only flaw is: I want more!
