Tbh I wasn’t sure Banana Hobby was still a thing. But here they are releasing the first Foam Lancer model I’ve seen, complete with all the features. Very nice
The lancer was created by a company called Xfly-Model. XFly is one of the several Brands being sold at Banana Hobby.
@@bananahobby is there a bomb bay or payload bay, or do I need to add that myself?
Looked a bit unstable (tail heavy) when the wings were folded back, I wonder if there is any kind of CG compensation built in.
@@AlfieDoug More likely it becomes more nose heavy when the wings move back.
@@tahustvedt Yep you made me re think it and yes the cg moves aft with the wings, I was purely thinking of the weight moving towards the rear.

I am the current DCC of ACFT 86-0125 I really like how the model has the 28th AMU checkered tail even though the jet is assigned to the 9th AMU. We plan to change it to the bats tail when we are on downtime 👍
Awesome information. Were glad you like the lancer. The current pack of tail flashes will come with tail 86-0126 and 86-0121. There is a decal sheet that will be available that will also have 86-0125, 86-0103, 85-0083, 86-0109, 86-0094, 85-0074 and 85-0079. Though I understand why it doesn't, I had hoped it had a dual lipo arrangement.. or the space to fit it. My eflite su-30 and other twin 70s, are lipo killers. Difference here is that it is a bomber, not a fighter, so hopefully power demands are not as bad, assuming non-flighter manuvers. If this video was shot at =< 50% power, then I'm all in. I know most everything in life is about compromises so I'm glad to see this. Still, twin 80s (with split power) would been awsome... but then price would have been an issue.. for some.

8 channels work perfectly. The 8th channel is used for thrust reversing

Yes. The design was based off when they were testing the JSOW so it has a JSOW on the pylon
