As a pilot of over 50 years in aviation, I'm awestruck at this engineering marvel at scale. Great job guys. Awesome teamwork!!! teamwork!!
As a pilot myself of a c-5 galaxy I do this in my spare time cheers mate
@@JMAC-rs6ey Are you the real J mac, the actor?
@@uncooked_ham Who? Never heard of an actor with that name
@@JMAC-rs6ey course you do, because Americans really say 'mate'

Mad props to the pilot, especially for his landing! And what a beautiful plane!
Of course - made by and flown by a German!
Iron Mike 👍
Agree! And the ones who built it - looks beautiful!
No pilot. It's a model.
@@ricf9592 It’s only semantics, and people generally still call remote control plane operators “pilots”, since they’re “piloting” the plane after all...
-Props- Turbines to the team who built and flew this. Very nice!
Imagine this flying over your house (in a sunny day, with no clouds for the depth perception) - you could think it's the real one, if the altitude and speed are to scale as well (at least roughly)
Haha very funni
I would not feel comfortable as the owner of the house on the hill at the approach end of the runway. A crash from any plane bigger than a toy would cause quite a bit of damage. A crash into the house from this jet would be deadly!
I am not an 'enthusiast' but I found this quite amazing and jaw-dropping!. Congratulations to the builder and 'pilot' who displayed it with all of Concordes grace and majesty of the skies.
Just keep the debris that's fallen off the DC10 off the runway before flying and everything should be fine
it was even modified to deal with that...
😂😂😂
lol ,wanna repeat history ? xd
@@tensevo The price of jet fuel will make this an economical disaster
hey its that cicada guy again
Definitely worth the 10 minutes of my life to watch this incredible performance.
Brings back memories of watching the real birds fly.
This genuinely makes me tear up as I remember stopping playing football as a kid in North London when Concorde used to occasionally stack before final approach to Heathrow. This is truly wonderful and both the beauty and the sounds are immense.
Bravo to all involved in making it happen 👍
What a beautiful tribute to our Concorde! Congratulations and thank you to those who worked on the development of this superb scale model, larger than life
This is just incredible. 😳
Whoever designed, engineered and fabricated this needs a serious pat on the back, as well as the pilot for being brave enough to fly it.
👏👏👏👏
Built by and flown by a German - who else?!
yes they should do all that work all that investment in time and money just so you pat them on the back. Like Gen Patton saluting his troops for taking North Africa, Sicily, Italy, France and Germany.
Wow, humanity isn’t lost when we have people who are dedicated enough to make a beautiful RC plane like this.
Beautiful job building this Concorde Jet Plane. My hat off to the Pilot! Great job of flying and even moreso landing this humongous RC Aircraft!
Very impressive! I especially love the scale speed impression. Most large rc aircraft move too fast but this one looks and behaves like a real one 👏 🎉
ThAT was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. That Captain is PRO
What great display!!!,

Wow. What a great build this must have been. Absolutely stunning that you got this made so well. Yeah, you have the list of still to do before it is complete, as you like it, but you must be very proud of this build. Well done to you and those helping you. Great flying too, I liked the rolls you did.
>"I liked the rolls you did"
Agree. That aroused my curiosity though whether the full-size Concord could do a barrel roll. Luckily, there is a UA-cam video of a British pilot (Brian Walpole) that was flying with one of the French test pilots (Jean Franch). The French pilot decided he would show that it is possible to do a barrel roll, so he did one, then asked the British pilot to do one the other way. The British pilot says they told him he was the only British to ever do a barrel roll in the Concord, which makes me wonder, how many times did the French do one? The video does not say whether the French pilot had done one before, but it certainly implies he had done a barrel roll at least once before to have made the statement that it was possible and that he would prove it to the British pilot.
Wow, this RC airplane is absolutely incredible! The power and thrust generated by those 4 JetCat P300 Turbines is mind-blowing. It's amazing that this model Concorde is able to replicate the features of the real plane, like the cockpit lowering for better visibility during takeoff and landing. The exhaust gas temperature and speed are simply astounding. The fact that it consumes almost 4 liters of fuel per minute is a testament to the sheer amount of power needed to keep this beast in the air. I'm in awe of this flight and can't stop watching it!
Yea so you are spot on, but in actuality I don’t think its replicating the Concorde very much, a plane like that couldn’t just scale down. The Concorde has its unique shape and propulsions systems for its unique aerodynamic performance at high altitudes and speeds. This is like most rc planes, the aerodynamics of the vehicle help but there is not a lot of actual flying involved in the design, more like stacked gas guzzling turbines that could make most objects of similar size get airborne. The control surfaces are so large in proportion to the wings, I believe it’s because this is not flying by wing per say, but being blasted through the air with super powerful turbine engines, and controlled by common aircraft control surfaces. If the engines cut it would drop out of the sky like a rock.
WOW ... I have viewed many RC builds and their flying ability, but this is the best that I have ever seen!!! Kudos to the "Pilots" of the team!!!
I have no words! Would love to see that models. 30 years in Aviation, still the most impressive commercial aircraft ever built. One of my biggest regrets is passing up the opportunity to fly on the British Airways Concorde, but at least I got a tour before it departed.
There's one flight that you're glad you missed.
also one of my biggest regrets, I loved this plane. I've seen it on the ground in Seattle, JFK, Dulles in DC, London Heathrow and in Paris and every time I saw them I got excited. I wanted to do the Around the World flight so badly.
Supersonic commercial flight is supposed to be making a comeback.
Supersonic will be back soon
@@aminfozdar
Not just supersonic, the development is well underway for Hypersonic.
Sounds like a real Jet and flown beautifully. I've only built and flown a single rc plane (almost 30 years ago), but have admired all rc over the years. I'm really impressed at this (149Kg=328 lbs) plane. Excellent work all around.
Ok, that scale is crazy! But it's so cool. And the sound of the engines are spectacular. Great skill by the controller. Really fun to see this in action.
Congratulations all round....throughly deserved applause at the end. Still nostalgic to see...really enjoyed...thanks for the memories!!👍👍👍🏴🤗
Quel magnifique Concorde ,impressionnant à tout niveaux jusqu'au Kiss landing et son fameux effet de sol...belle performance..✈🇫🇷

This is a masterpiece and the people that built this “model” are master craftsmen! Bravo to them!
Stunning. The concept..the execution....the piloting. Truly amazing!!
So realistic that I was listening for the boom!
imagine that? an RC mach airplane? hint hint. she was going fast even on the RAMP.
Me also. If this is without pressurization and proper (redundant) INS/IRS, then can reach FL350 or higher - then TAS speed comes higher and sound speed in air comes lower. With some fiberglass or carbon fiber this should handle at least MACH 1.5.
Great filming and an absolutely incredible model plane, this might be the best I have ever seen.
Also great flying by the pilot!
What, the guy on the ground?
What a great Master work!! Respect in the air nobody see its a rc Model!! Thanks for that fantastic picture! Best wish Reiner from Germany
Beautiful x2 landing, compliments to the pilot and crew!!
Amazing! Always loved the Concord. WIth out ground reference points, it looks like the ‘real’ thing!
I like the reference to Flight of the Phoenix. “What you are pleased to call ‘the real thing.’”
That was pretty sweet! Dude is brave to fly that. Cause id be too afraid if that crashed in front of me. I cant imagine how much time it took to build it. That nose was a nice touch!

Lindo demais, maravilhoso.
Espetacular.
I made a slow speed wind tunnel using incense sticks and when smooth airflow was attained, the smoke traces of a model of Concorde brought me to tears.
I was able to formate it with a F4 phantom and F 16.
The wake from Concorde sliced by the F16 totally switched to a reverse direction, priceless sights, unbelievable beauty.
You have got to do a video of your slow speed wind tunnel. It sounds awesome!
Amazing aircraft, amazing pilot!
So smooth on the sticks, such a pleasure to watch thanks so much for this fantastic footage!

Incredible control. I am wondering whether that ability is a spin off from military RC drones?
I had the pleasure of flying on the British Concorde from Dulles to Dallas several years ago. I remember that the fuselage was very narrow compared to other commercial aircraft and that it seemed to get airborne very quickly on takeoff. There was a digital airspeed indicator on the left side of the forward cabin. The pilots weren’t permitted to fly supersonic over the continental U. S. but we were very close to mach 1 as I recall. It was a very memorable experience!

@@crosisofborg5524 of course its only a toy lol dont think they could replicate the olympus engines
This thing has real jet engines. But much smaller and most important: without afterburners. I think it should be possible to add afterburners to this engines if we get metal alloy capable to handle 1000-1500 Celsius and proper tools. In those engines, fuel can be burn also with temperature up to 1500C, but there is a small magic that holds fire away from metal. This magic is a air flow due to compressor stage at front of turbine engine (turbine engine = jet engine).
