This exactly. With force is female; the agenda, they can use this as their trump card to keep the infighting that's always happened in Mando culture going in a few different spectrums and also redeem some of the story telling that was a bit lacking in Mando season 3. And hopefully that'll be enough to keep Kathy from screwing stuff up. Favereau himself said Ahsoka is all Dave even though he has a ex. producer (and so would Kathy) credit on it. Dave himself says that he's gonna wrap all these shows up in one little neat crescendo with his movie and he can do so a few different ways. He could easily have her 'not be force sensitive' and then later on after the movie is done if it garners enough traction turn that switch right back on after the fact if they dont in fact inact it in this season. I think she is, I just dont know if they'll throw that switch yet. For example.., the Dark saber was like LEAD in Din's hands. Yet a smaller body and much physically weaker person like Sabine moved it much more easily. I may not be anything, but it could also mean ALOT. All that being said, I Just hope that the passing of Ray Stevenson didn't hurt the overall story arc. And I hate that he's Dead.

I think we'll have to wait and see, before the trailers I was wondering how Ashoka show it was going to be, I mean there can't be so much people with beskar spears, and whatever it looks on the Mandalorian, Ashoka was playing fair, no Force pushes or that she used the Force in any obvious way in her fight with the Magistrate, can the same happen for Sabine?...can be that Sabine was blocked and she's not anymore? And even if that's the case, would Ashoka train her? Cause she didn't want to train Grogu because of his attachment... Though Ashoka and Sabine are nothing but attached themselves

If u watched carefully rebels Sabine made a block to force in her mind to stop the wound. The wound started to heal once she returned to Mandalorians and it finally healed when Empire was defeated. That is when Ashoka steps in to search for Ezra and Sabine is ready to connect to force maybe not as strong as Ashoka, but enough to fight against other jedi or sith. That might be the explanation.
Btw if you noticed in lore those who are connected to force strong but not enough to be trained to wield it in fact get highly proficient in use of some weapons or skills thanks to this connection so this might be an option.

I never got the impression that Kanan meant she is or could be a force wielder. He was just saying that the Force is within all living things less elegantly than Kenobi. When he says that she's blocked, I think he means she's simply too angry to accept his training. She's not focused. She's also arguably better using Ezra's light saber than with the dark saber, because she's conflicted and can't harness the power of the dark saber. That isn't a concern with a standard light saber.

Ppl often forgets that plenty more individuals in SW world are force sensitive, not just Jedi and Sith and i dont just mean other groups like witches of Dathomir. Some simply are never found and trained by any group and MANY more are force sensitive but their connection to force is just too weak, to be worth real training. Those weak ones could in theory learn to use force, but only thing they would do would be mostly useless party tricks, so why waste time on that. In those force connection often manifested as "passive skill" - they are often exceptional pilots, fighters and more. Unless they say diff. i consider Sabine 1 of those (weak ones) - in days of Clone Wars or before noone would train her as Jedi, but bec. Ahsoka is friend and they share some past she might tryed to teach her few things.

When Sabine touches the Darksaber in the meeting, the Force theme is heard. When she spares Gar Saxon's life it is heard again.
And the Force theme they do not use it at random. Among other things when Sabine is freed by Zeb and Hera in the world between worlds episode, upon the latter's question as to where Ezra was, Sabine replies, "He's coming!" and there was nothing that could logically lead Sabine to infer that, it just seems like a typical Force user feeling. So one cannot say that in Rebels there is no evidence that Sabine is a force user, one can only say that Rebels leaves the door open to any interpretation. Especially since Kanan himself does not rule out that she could be a force user, he simply says that her mind is blocked.

After watching the series I have a theory.
Jacen was able to channel the force through his mom, Hera, and she was able to sense Ahsoka and Anakin dueling in the world between worlds. So perhaps a secure connection between a gifted force user and a non-gifted one could help channel the force.
Ahsoka and Sabine struggled to have a secure relationship based on mutual faith. Therefore the block remained, but as their relationship mended Sabine became more open to it.
THEN Ezra’s reuniting with her probably just boosted that. And that’s when she was able to finally use the force.

Kanan says to Hera (1:50) that "The Force resides in all living things but you have to be open to it, Sabine is blocked her mind is expressive and so tightly wound, she's so , Mandalorian." So if she comes unblocked maybe she could access the force and become a Jedi. Just a thought. He felt something from her. I think she is force sensitive but doesn't believe she is or could be. The jedi sought out force users with a high midiclhorian count to train them in the light side. I seriously doubt Sabine is force-sensitive. Her training with Ahsoka is to upgrade her lightsaber forms and focus her mind and put a degree of control over her emotions. Akso, in the trailers we Sabine watching a holographic message from Ezra and IT IS NOT the same message that Ezra left for the whole Ghost crew. I believe that Ezra left this message behind ONLY for Sabine. What is clear from the message is that Ezra definitely wants Sabine to do SOMETHING and that SOMETHING, Ezra believes, is going to difficult for Sabine. But as he says in the message "I need you to see this through.". Two things I think he said in that message 1)Long held feelings for Sabine. and 2)A warning to Sabine that danger will be upon her again and she needs to be prepared. Hence, why he left his lightsaber behind for her to train with and why he wants her to train further with Ahsoka.

In the episode in Dathomir when Kanan and Sabine get possessed by the witches' spirits, right after Ezra destroys the altar and gets rid of the spirits, Sabine comes back to meet Ezra and Kanan. As the three of them are leaving on the same direction, all of a sudden Sabine turns her head as if she were being called by the light sabre. It's interesting that the other two didn't care about it and just left it there on the ground, whereas Sabine went for it. I agree with most of this video, she wasn't training to be a jedi. It's to become more proficient with the lightsaber, clearly. One thing I have to disagree with is the theory about Shin's saber being Kanan's. Thrawn never received the saber, even the footage you used was of his hologram. That saber stayed with Price in the dome on Lothal, and was presumably destroyed. Remember, Thrawn was called to meet the Emperor after Hera's capture and during Kanan's death. Price called to inform him of what happened and he threatened her so & so when he gets back. He gets back mid rebel invasion of the dome, which blows up. The only interaction between the Chimera & the dome, aside from orbital bombardment, is the transfer of Ezra, unarmed.

I don't understand why so many people are crapping on the idea of Sabine being at least slightly Force Sensitive, similar to Han and Finn. She has shown signs of it from her very first introduction in her shot "Art Attack." The leaps should could make even without a jetpack, her skill with tech beyond weapons, her ability to fly almost as well as Hera, and even her art. Think about how a true artist follows their inspiration the same way a Jedi might follow the will of the Force. She might not have the 6k midi-count that the Jedi Order would have required for entrance into the Academy, but I'm pretty sure she'll still be able to use the Force to some extent once she opens her mind to it the same way she does with her art.

She's technically related to Tarre Visla the Mandalorian Jedi. So it could explain how she has some connection to the force even though it's so far removed.
Plus the force is in everything, it binds the galaxy together so technically everyone has it some can manipulate it in different ways as we see with the Jedi, Sith, Night sisters and beings like Bendu.
And as she had Training from Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus, Ezra and Ahsoka who was trained by Anakin I'm sure she'd be able to unlock her potential that was blocked due to her suppressed emotions.
I drew the line when she didn't die from the blade lol. The actress is great but she and the direction didn't feel like she was the same Sabine from Rebels.

Ahsoka I think is so terrified of training another force sensitive being because of what happened to Anakin she doesn't want to be responsible for that happening again that hit too close to home for her, but she also has that need that all Jedi have to pass on what they have learned, Sabine is skilled enough to be close enough for her to train a great warrior and pass on what she has learned.

Kane says the forces is in all living things. The problem with Sabine is that she blocked and conflicted. Which keepers her from using the force. Ashoka may be working with her to over come her block and set the force free in her. The Jedi trained children when they were young and open to the force. Yoda rejected Luke at first because he was too old. Obie Wan convinced him otherwise. Sabine may be going down that same path. She needs to learn to let go.

True, Hera has adopted Sabine like a daughter but at this point in the timeline Sabine has been reunited with both of her actual parents. She should be wearing her armor. She even points out to Ezra and the Ghost crew that despite her personalization of her armor it is over 500 years old and was worn by other warriors of her family before her. It's been 9 years, characters can, will, and should change. Otherwise, they'll just be boring. Her old arc, her family, her Mandalorian world is gone, destroyed by the Empire, so why should she continue to be a Mandalorian? What Dave is doing is basic storytelling 101, expanding a character in a new direction, giving them a new arc. He wanted Sabine to leave her old world behind and embrace a new one, one that she has connection to with Ezra, and one that Ahsoka will help her guide.
Like this video title says, there were hints Dave's been planning this for her. Kanan straight up says that the Force is in her but it's blocked by her Mandalorian beliefs. She could hear voices when hypertunneling with the wolves. Perhaps the biggest one is at the end of the finale, when she narrates, "but I realize there was more to it. There was something else I was meant to do." We then see her go with Ahsoka as the Force theme plays.
Throughout Ahsoka, Dave sets up a challenge for Sabine to overcome, and she finally does overcome it at the end. That's a good thing. Don't you want to see your beloved Sabine succeed at something new to her? I don't know why you don't want that. Wait...actually, I know exactly why you don't want her to become Force sensitive. To burrow a quote from Kanan Jarrus himself, "You're just pissed off that Dave Filoni gave fucking Force powers to a girl. That's it!"

In KOTOR2; the only living member of the crew that you cannot awaken to The Force and turn into a Jedi is Mandalore. I watched part of another video insisting Mando's cannot be Force Sensitive. This is belied by the very existence of the Dark Saber; created by a Mandalorian Jedi. We've seen in canon and legend that many species believed to be incapable of using The Force in fact were; if only in very very rare cases. Wookiees have long been touted as NOT Force Sensitive; but in Clone Wars Ahsoka joins a band of padawans; including a Wookiee padawan, in finding THEIR lightsaber crystals.

It kinda buggs me when non force sensitives wield lightsabers, with a few exceptions. Grievous cause if he cut himself with it he could have repaired himself, mandarlorians cause of beskar so they’re more protected, maybe some other exceptions if well argumented. I always thought you’d need some level of force sensitivity to use a lightsaber cause it connects with you, energy flows through you, and using the force helps you not cut your own limbs. Like, I still can’t believe Disney had Finn fight proficiently with a lightsaber just like that.

  • @lxizch7876
    @lxizch7876 Рік тому

I’m divided on whether I want Sabine to be force-sensitive or not. On one hand, we’d be getting a Mandalorian Jedi, which would be hella badass, cause on top of being a Jedi they are the best fighters on the galaxy and have all those extra tricks. If we can get a Mandalorian Jedi, that should be Sabine. There are things in rebels that are easy to use to retcon the fact that she never showed force sensitivity before. I mean, if it is well argumented, it can totally work. And no, it’s not like there are too many Jedis or that now everyone is a Jedi. This is Star Wars, it is literally about telling stories of force sensitive beings. On the other hand, it could go wrong if not well executed. But at the end of the day, Sabine is Dave’s character, he’ll know how to develop her arc. Also, if Ezra and Sabine end up together and both are Jedis that would open possibilities for so many cool stories.

@@SWPhoenixSquadron Ya, I agree that Sabin was not force-sensitive. In the very first episode, Ezra was able to pick up on Kanan's force aura, which was accompanied by a ringing sound from the Kyber Cystal Clone Wars episode "The Gathering". Kanan also felt it at that moment, which is why he allowed Ezra to come aboard the Ghost. He had to explain to Hera that Ezra was special. If Sabin was force-sensitive, Kanan would have known and trained her long ago.
It's unclear why Sabine wanted to be trained or why Ahsoka wanted to train her. Sabine may have been more willing to ask Ahsoka for training, as she is smart and staying cooped up in Ezra's room would have driven her nuts. I love Ahsoka and I Sabine, both are great Characters, probably the best 2 the Disney era Star wars has produced. I will give the Ahsoka show a chance... however baring a radioactive spider bite Sabine Wren is not Force Sensitive nor a Jedi. At a bear minimum Caleb Doom would have sensed it when he trained her with the dark saber, but he didn't. Caleb never sensed it, Erza who paid ALOT of attention to Sabine never sensed it.... how many more could I name? So that being said Sabine becoming a Jedi or just instantly becoming a force user will end this show for me! There is no way Disney could ever explain how some many force users could have interacted with her, and not 1 ever even hinted at her being even a little force sensitives.

She is a Mandalorian they love weapons so its only right that she trains with a lightsaber.

While fighting Sabine, Shin Hati says, 'You have no power'

that doesn't mean anything. darth vader tortured leia personally and he had no idea she was force sensitive. it wasn't until kenobi who knew their lineage decided to train luke that he discovered he had force powers. who then went to train under yoda that he discovered he has a sister who is also strong with the force. so if vader can't detect the force in his own daughter while torturing her for information, then why would shin be able to detect it? more likely she is saying this because they already fought (when she had long hair before ahsoka came back to train her) and she beat her easily.
