Anakin Skywalker was never truly dead. He was merely buried under years of pain and anger. Luke’s dedication to saving his father is what brought Anakin to light. And seeing The Emperor electrocuting his son enraged Anakin enough to give him the strength to break free of Palpatine’s control and kill him.
A detailed "documentary" style animation of the complex, complete, "treatment" that Anakin received over those days, would be a "body horror" film without comparison.
He had 4th degree burns, 3rd degree shock, servere lung damage, level 7+ pain, level 10+ anxiety and stress, lost 4 limbs, was turned into a human torch, and had to use both Jedi and Sith training to survive, and not die. I have over 28 years of experience in multiple medical fields. Otherwise, y'all did a good job. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
There's at least 6-10 degrees of burns. The yellow classification we're most familiar with is 1-3, Orange Classification is 4-6, Red Classification is 7-9, 10 means you're legally dead and probably completely dead. If you have 4th degree burns, your bones are also burning, and everything on a 3rd degree level is happening to your skin, muscles, tissues, bones, and potentially oregons.
Here is a question for anyone to the comments how many days weeks or hours did Darth Vader’s operating procedure take to complete without killing him since he had no anesthetics in order to numb the pain which was probably unbearable for him. I can imagine.
In fact he wanted to kill him and as punishment he used on him imperfect parts. Only solitude of Sheev was the salvation of Anakin. And Anakin was never dead and when Luke came he emerged out. Ironically at last Sheev was a tool for Anakin, and this fact gives me satisfaction.
That's for sure. With his vast wealth, Palpatine could have build a suit that rivaled Tony Stark's Iron Man. Instead, Vader is left with a lifelong asthma/emphysema problem.
@@animesquish4314 If palpatine went all out he could have cloned his missing limbs and organs and given him reconstructive surgery making it as if mustafar never happened or at the very least he could have given him cybernetics like grevious which were so advanced they moved as fast as organic limbs of a force user.
Omfg somehow the idea that it took days instead of hours never even occurred to me no wonder Vader was such a horrible character no could have endured such hideous torture and still been a good person nothing but hate and Rage😭
This scene sort of redeems Palpatine a little. Like, a micron. His concern and compassion for Anakin is antithetical to Sith ideology. Being the only Sith “standing,” so to speak, his instinct should be self-preservation. This is as fatherly and as much of a friend as he can be. I’m sure it’s intentional, but this scene is the inverse of Obi-Wan finding Luke. Now, on a lighter note - if you made it this far, check out RedLetterMedia’s 20 Facts about Vader’s Suit. They (rightfully) mock all the nerdy details that someone just made up about the suit. 🤣
I think it’s more the fact that he invested so much time and effort into Anakin that it would be kind of a waste to just let him die, also he was still powerful in the force and probably the best option he had at the time. Basically he just wanted to use Vader as his enforcer until he found someone or something more powerful. I don’t think Palpatine ever gave a fuck about anyone except himself. He didn’t even care for his family.
It was free at the point of use, paid for by fractional pennies taken from everyone's taxes. Something Palpatine would have done to make him seem like the political good guy. Source is I made it the f up.

That’s right. Luke was Padmé reborn. All Anakin needed was the right motivation to break free.
I've always wanted there to be an animation that shows that surgery. it'd be grade A nightmare fuel.

I think he would have been better off not surviving this.
Does the force come from his robotic arms or the stub?
@@01-the-binarian no the force only flows through living things

Oh, Palpatine spared quite a few expenses, lol.
His helmet was polished with woodoo hide so that Palpatine would be distracted from the corners that had to be cut on the suit's construction.
Spared no expense? Lol Palpatine intentionally had Vader rehabilitated in the most cheap and painful manner possible using low end cybernetics.

Palpatine had to cut corners hey a Death Star cost money you know thats why he bought a cheap suit for Vader.

it would make sense for all this to happen the way it did.. ive heard the same things from other people and different websites
Name a character that went through more pain than Rey ❌
Name a character that went through more pain than Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader ✅

One thing I wonder is did the breathing sound bother him? Hearing that all day all night, could it make him more irritable and aggressive?
He literally couldn’t sleep because of that, so yeah it did make him more irritable and aggressive
what the medics and surgeons did first is debridement, a medical procedure which removes dead skin tissue and gives the remaining skin time to heal.
He did not become Darth Vader after the surgery. He already was Darth Vader on Mustafar....
This is how it feels to be Anakin Skywalker.
*Forever.*

Bro you need to write better scripts. You just kept repeating yourself over and over.
exactly what i was thinking lol
ANAKIN IS NOT DEAD HE'S IN THE DARTH VADER SUIT
And he's no Longer Anakin.
Anakin was human and Vader is machine.
More machine than man so as far as anyone is concerned Anakin Skywalker is Dead
It's one of those poetic interpretations of the word "death". Anakin the idea died, even if he physically still lives.

Last I checked this was a movie and that was an actor….
Who payed for that surgery?
