Next time get a 4X8 sheet of exterior foam board and use that to back the cut instead of 2X4’s just set the blade shallow. The foam board can be reused many times afterward as the cut line will be very shallow. After your cut in the video there was tear out. You also can kneel on the sheet as you cut it to be more comfortable with less strain on your back.
Thank you !!! I saw this tool at the hardware store, but hadn’t checked our everything. I was directing myself to a table saw. You just saved me money. With this tool I’ll be able to maneuver the circular saw straight also.
Best tool ever for rough cutting full sheets for table saw. Yes there are other ways to do it but if you set it up correctly and don’t rush, damn accurate cut. Spread the word, girl!
I just clamp a thin 4' metal straight edge on and run the saw along it but if that track and kit is cheap id buy it. What's the cost and where do i purchase?
Because she made the cut with 2=2x4s below the plywood spaced on the outsides of her cut. I guarantee the saw kicked back or the blade got bounded up when the cut came in on itself because of the placement of the 2x4s. But they edited out that section of the vid but you can still see the plywood end cut splintered of at the edge because of the bind or kickback on the saw. I’m all about people doing things DIY but do your homework first before you shoot a advertisement video 😅 next time set the 2x4 on one side of the cut or 2 but they need to both be on one side of the cut that way when you make the cut the wood you are cutting falls away from the blade not fall into the blade and create friction 😮 Anyway cool tool
Yes sir 👍🏻.....Fellow contractor here and I noticed that right away too. I always put it right near the cut as well. It also helps to go at a fast-ish pace at the end where I'm guessing she slowed down and was hesitant.
The 2x4 under the sheet of plywood need to go perpendicular to the cut you want to make. Set the blade depth 1/8” deeper than the thickness of the plywood. This prevents the plywood from collapsing and pinching the saw blade and that nasty tear-out I saw in this video at the end of the cut.
The 1st time u tried to cut it you were trying to rip it. Then u show it doing a cross cut. Dose the track extend to 8ft? Also it looks like the saw didn't cut the last 1/4 inch of the wood (the right piece had s dagger)
BECAUSE OF YOU - THIS 71 YR OLD WOMAN IS GOING TO BUILD 2 FREE STANDING CLOSETS AND 2 FREE STANDING SHOE CLOSETS . They do, however, unless you are professional carpenter or builder with a huge garage it’s not justified due to the cost and necessary space for storage.
Thanks....now there will be a bunch of women out there thinking they can cut plywood like this. Please do more research before copying these EDITED diy videos

Table saw is a must have. It does a lot of other tasks besides straight cut a plywood sheet.

I would like to see how she finished that cut.
😂 with a big bite
been using it for years love it

💯
Good for you

The Accu-Cut makes 4-foot cuts and our Accu-Cut XL will do 8-foot cuts.
Cost?
You can see the Accu-Cut details here: www.kregtool.com/shop/cutting/circular-saw-cutting/accu-cut/KMA2700.html
Infeed stands and outfeed tabke. Husky has some and ridgid does as well they are cheap and you need them
I LOVE YOUR POCKET SCREWS OMG
Blocks closer to cut line prevents binding
Check for square too
Use for rough cuts only. It tends to slip
And this folks is how you kick back and lose a finger, shocked kreg still has this video up can get alot beginners hurt
Nice work ladies
And great instructions!
I have one. Can’t figure out how to use it lol

While travelling make sure you “aim” the machine over the jig not the cut as with all jigs
I want to see that kickback, how about you post the kickback at the end of the cut there
For ripping long ways the Kreg Rip-Cut is the best $50 you’ll spend.
Rip cut is only good for 4 foot (tool is only 4 foot).
I love how it moved 1/2” while you were demonstrating how straight it cuts lol
It clearly moved after you started.
Какая умничка))(
i don't have a problem with this on my table saw
Looks like she had a saw kickback at the end of her cut. 😬
Or just get a couple roller tables
You started out trying to rip the plywood and ended up doing a crosscut?????
Not long enough for the original attempted table saw...attempted cut.
These companies that make tables saws need to also sell infeed and out feed tables to go with their table saw so people don’t have to do this.
They do, however, unless you are professional carpenter or builder with a huge garage it’s not justified due to the cost and necessary space for storage.
But if you can afford a proper track saw you won't regret it.
Its called a track saw. Look into it
Well this is a Kreg accucut for people that don’t want to spend $600 on a track saw, or $250 for the wen
Never dont believe it.
First attrmpt was a rip cut then proceeds to cross cut. Mr, mr george, how much u pay? $20, thats too much.
Ummmm you started with an 8ft rip but then made a 4ft cut
I can cut better without that
Or you can waste your money on those overpriced track saws

Nice but why are you using crappy Ryobi saw??
