Soooo… to dash whenever you want, without being top dasher, schedule the dash a week in advance. That’s just scheduling it. This video showed us how to schedule dash, not how to do it whenever you want. 🤦🏾♀️

It all depends on your area. I live in south sac area And Door Dash has you schedule the dash time. I try to manipulate the times but it goes back to the time they wanted. There’s no way to change it. Occasionally I can change my end time but not the time I start. 😞 I’ve received too dasher a few times and that’s when I can dash anytime.
Unfortunately this does not actually allow you to dash anytime ! You can only start your dash shortly before or after your scheduled time. If you miss that window then you can’t dash! So not really “anytime” and if you are a top dasher then you can literally click on the “dash now”button anytime
Schedule several dashes back to back to back so if you miss a slot you already got the next one lined up. Dash anytime. It works. I’ve done it. Other dashers too
Have you ever not been paid for your earnings. My total earnings was 680 something and they directly deposited 385 something? I called and they said fill out 24 hour email for them to look into it. My third week dashing. New and I have no luck scheduling either. Idk I busted ass last week and I expected full pay

It looks like the High paying priority order program just started in the South OC area. It's the first day so far and I have to say the pay got a lot worse. I'm seeing a lot of 2.25 and 3.00 base pay where as before they would be a lot higher like $5 or $6.25. I'm really curious on your take on this program if it hit San Clemente like it did in South OC. But the orders are all trash so far today for me.
Just hit for me today too. More or less normal so far but def gotta feel it out more

Love this idea, unfortunately with latest update, the "schedule/available" buttons are no longer there. Just the dates are there and very sporadic times. The only times that show up in my areas are the most random like 330am to 530am, when NOTHING, not one place other than a Denny's, is open. In place of the Schedule/Available line there is now a line that says "car" and "xx locations" (xx depending on how many you have turned on) with a filter button to the right to choose the locations.

Same with my location. It’s all 5:30 am to 8:00 am. I don’t really think many people order breakfast up here but there are a lot more older folks that live up here locally. It’s a resort town and on the weekends nothing but those times which is very odd. Monday has a lunch time availability I saved but that’s all I saw during this week. Another location I used to live has schedules from 12:30 to about 1:30am/2:30 am which is a college town so that explains those times.
So 2pm pacific time? I heard 3 and I checked but latest day was already completely consumed 😢. I live in a small town compared to LA so the “dash now” is littered NEVER available, and there is only 1 zone with in a 1 hour radius. My game plan is to be the first to schedule every single day but I have been unable to identify the opening time.

Yo does it matter that I’m about to go below 70% I’ve been declining dashes in order to readjust the algorithm to get higher paying dashes?
Just make sure you’ve proven/are proving to dd that you’re legit at the same time aka make sure you’ve crushed at least 50-100 orders. I’m below 70% and I do well and constantly “tailor” the algorithm
Yesterday I was out but I didn’t have a bag they kept sending me order for 3 dollars or Less not going to take those now my rating is at 7.1so can’t dash now
How can I do this since I don’t live in a very busy area?
some non-busy areas can still be good. you really just gotta dash in an area for a bit to find out. if it's no good, try the next closest area...
I lost Mt TD status last mo due to being in hospital and recovering. It gives me a 24 hour schedule but I'll get TD next mo
hope you're recovered!
I break mine down to 2½ or 3 hour blocks. That way if something comes up, I can just let that block go and start back up say 1 to 2 hours later.

When I started DoorDashing my red button said schedule. Now I’m a top dasher and the button always says dash now which is great. Watching UA-cam videos I realized I wasn’t accepting the right orders and wasn’t making money. So I don’t take bad orders anymore. My question, if I lose my top dasher do I lose my dash now red button? I can’t schedule a dash day because there’s so many dashers in my area.

idk.. maybe has to do with how many deliveries i'm completing mixed with customer ratings etc but idk

That is not same as dash anytime. Dash anytime means you can hop on and off whenever you want without losing slot . Dash anytime is great . If. Your app crashes during your scheduled time you lose dash! Can’t hop to diff areas either .
Exactly this video just shows you how to schedule a dash. I just noticed that now if you're not top dasher you can't do the dash asking the way option anymore. It's pretty much impossible to get top dasher now if it's not busy
