I’ve been rocking with my xcompact for a little over 2 years and I’ve gotta say I’ve been loving shooting it at the range also what I was looking for in size and feel for a carry pistol great gun out of the box
Agreed! I have the xcompact and the M18 and I love shooting with them and carrying them. But I did make one major change to them both to make them perfect for me and that's Wilson combat grips module
@@steffensamlal1854I don’t understand a small number of failures in a small batch of pistols will cause people like you to hate on the brand for the rest of time
I have a similar build but I used a full size frame that i cut down with a scroll saw and polished with dremel. That’s the only other option I think, if you want a flush look.
I did the same thing. I went with a Wilson combat full size grip module and cut the frame so my setup (3.9” with the PMM comp) can sit flush. I’m happy with it
Glad to see more content from you my dude! I know you want that flushed compensator and slide, but I like what you have as it gives it a nicer silhouette.
Dude good to see you again. Been a while. Just wanna say you video with the Glock 45 modes is what got me to get my permit to carry and even bought the Glock 45 as my first gun ever. I almost have it similar to yours. Just need that short fire light and that undercut.
If you want flush, you can get a Mischief Machine commander grip module that’s made for the PMM barrel and comp, or you can just cut down a full size grip and bevel it to look just like the factory one. Or you can go with the Fdez P320 compact com’p slide and 3.6” barrel. It would look great both ways. The Mischief Machine grip module is full aluminum with a steel locking lug and more of a 1911 grip angle. Check em out 👍🏻 you could also rock the TLR-7 sub with the Antimatter Industries 1913 micro wing if you want a really nice gas pedal/ thumb throttle that’ll fit in regular holsters.
Great Video, thank you for making it. I am a huge P320 fan and have been since they first came out, which means that my first two P320s had to go back for the “voluntary upgrade.” I currently have five of them. My last one I build from spare parts. I had enough parts from all the upgrades that I did to the other four guns that with the purchase of an FCU I was able to assemble another complete gun. As someone who worked for the Army for over 43 years (21 Active Duty) and has some knowledge of the military procurement system, I can tell you that Sig won the contract for three reasons. First was reliability. When the testing was over [only] Sig and Glock were left standing. FN was a close third followed by Beretta. The second reason, and most important reason, Sig was the [only] manufacturer that provided a gun that met the specifications in the bid announcement for a “modular” and configurable handgun. Lastly, was price. Sig’s price was almost 40% less than Glock. If the Army had not been so insistent on a manual safety [or] Glock had been willing to absorb the cost for retooling to make a manual safety gun, Glock would have gotten the contract. For the record, the U.S. military has a contract with Glock, as due DHS, DOJ, and several cabinet departments. Glock is the primary sidearm for most special operation units across all services. The Army really wanted the Glock and would have compromised on the “modularity” requirements, but they wouldn’t compromise on the manual safety, thus, they couldn’t justify the cost difference. While it is not known for sure, it is rumored that FN actually had a lower price, but the guns didn’t perform well enough in the end.
Great video, I built an Icarus Precision P365 xl, with a Norosso P365 X slide and a Parker Mountain Machine Micro comp. WIth the comp, it took about 750-1000 rounds to get it broken in where it shot reliably. Now Ive been running it for about 2.5 years and it is a tack driver. Breaking them in is the key. Nice build.
Had a Glock for years. Picked up the XMACRO and holy shit. Perfect ergonomics and perfect grip and I can shoot it so easily. My wife jsut got one, and she hasn’t shot since pre Covid. She was tagging bulls eye. With the Glock all over the place. This is the new status quo

greetings! good video! Have you had a problem with the slide cover TYRANT Designs I bought one and while practicing the extractor nail system flew away I wrote to them and they sent me another one but after several practices I saw it very marked and I dismantled it. what is your experience?
It sure is. It happened after the review. I emailed them and will be talking with them tomorrow about this actually, to hopefully fix the issue. They’re a pretty good company. And except for the everything has been solid.
Rolled through the comments and didn’t see anything, you have to buy a X full length grip module and cut it down. No one makes a 4.1” grip module since 3.9 is carry and 4.7 is full.
No one gets how I portent a good guide rod is i myself went with the 1911 style solid guide rod wirh a 14 pound spring and its worked amazing from 115 to 147 it runs it and loves it only thing left is cutt slide and she really be moving
How much did that build set you back ? I have a factory X carry and love it . Was very skeptical with all the accidental discharge rumors . I recently dropped it by accident in a holster about waist high . It hit a hard concrete surface and passed the accidental discharge test in my book . I was scared shitless when it fell and hit the ground . I usually am very careful with handeling firearms all humans make mistakes at some point . Needless to say no misfire happend .
That's honestly what's stopping me from getting or building a p320, I like it but I've heard all the discharges. Good to hear that issue has been solved hopefully.
Was that an fte at 1:07? I was planning on putting an sro on my axg legion, but this was my biggest concern. Seems to hang over the ejection port too much
It looks like you put a compact slide on a Xcarry grip. My Xcarry grip is flush with my Xcarry slide. Now as far as running a flush comp I think you'll have to get a full size grip module and put a bigger comp on like a dual port one. Agency arms makes one that is a little longer on the single port but it would look kind of funny where the recoil spring comes out sitting on the grip.
Do you know which length barrel and slide he is using? I already have the xcarry grip and I like this look better than flush just want to make sure I get the right parts for my build.
That's a sick looking carry gun! I have the full size p320 x five legion as well as the blacked out spectre comp both for competition shooting. Love them! This looks lie a hybrid of both but in carry size? Any idea what you paid for your setup?

Unfortunately, I don’t believe there is a compensator made that would sit flush but if you’re willing to get the work done on a frame, I would get a full size frame and cut it down so that it sits flush with that compensator on there but in my opinion I think it looks awesome just like that

Hi Principle Caliber, I appreciate your content! I was wondering, what would you recommend for an EDC (concealed) for a right handed guy with an almost blind left eye (lazy eye) but good right eye vision that conceals well, doesn't have too much recoil, and I can actually aim well (and quickly). I currently have a Springfield XD Mod2 4" 9mm, OEM. I love the grip on it, it's like it was built for my hands. However, the iron sights I've trained on I do "well" on for my eye sight condition but I know I could do better; it's very difficult for me and takes way too much time to aim for an accurate shot; also the size was very hard for me to conceal and was not comfortable. I've been thinking a Glock 43X MOS, with some kind of modifications to fit my needs/condition. Thoughts? Much appreciated! Keep up the great posts!
