Nauman from last year SFL is definitely the golden boy of Daigo's team but such a strong wildcard like Moruto would provides the team with a unique advantage and would create some serious meta mix-up in the next tournament for sure.
That red hadoken was added in after the infinite was found, and to my understanding it's a more powerful version of the gadoken in many ways but with a knockdown that trips up his infinite. They made him stronger just to make him weaker. That's dan for you.
I gotta say, Capcom could’ve EASILY just taken away dan’s infinite in the most bland but understandable way. But giving him a random chance to throw out Red Fireballs is fun asf.
I like this because I don't like that people say his infinite was removed. I mean it really was only half-removed, capcoms change was smart because if your lucky and have a good reaction to the red fireball you can get a cool ass sequence like this while retaining more fairness to the other player.
The fact that he's the one character that's supposed to suck in all areas? They made him so weak he can just keep whittling away at an opponent's health until a random *stronger* move ends it.

I doubt he's hiding it intentionally, its in a spot where it doesn't cover anything significant. If you want to see his rank, there are plenty of other vids that show it, or see it on the leaderboards. No point in hiding something that is made public
@@dutchschaefer11 I'm not 100% sure on this but the only thing that actually sucks on him in SFV is his DP which is probably worse than the other shoots. I'm too lazy to look up the framedata. His gadokens don't go as far as other shotos' hadokens but he has the red gadoken which can be pretty useful. Imo, Dan is an upper B - A tier character from Ultra Street Fighter IV and onwards.
I like Daigo but no offense but he is looking older now. In a couple of years, he will look like Gen lol. No seriously he's a good player. Need to learn more of his style of play.
