I still think Sonic seeing through the BS no matter how ridiculous it may seem is still a feat for his progression at least. Him acknowledging that it’s only by his own strength that he can surpass saitama shows his growth as a character

I think there enough evidence that empty void is above dragon, they might not be on that level in terms of physical strength, but their speed and illusions make up for that, and getting trashed by Blast isn’t that much to be ashamed of considering Blast is stronger than Tatsumaki who strangled Psychorochi.
Yeah, people seem to forget that Orochi by himself was already considered Above Dragon so Tatsumaki beating Psyrochi shows how strong she is, and Blast is orders of magnitude stronger than Tatsumaki so getting beat by him isn't bad.
Empty Void is a god level threat giving that he is a god avatar

Empty void is absolutely faster than maonster garou, flashy and platinum s. He speedblitzed a flashy flash who had his sword which is stated to give him an amp and that flashy flash is the same if not stronger than the one who made the light geometry with them. If hes perception blitzing them he would mop up the other 2
Honestly Sonic seeing thru the illusion is a very smart way to show his character development. God tries to temp those with power or their desire in order to bring them to his side but as sonic himself said, a more tangible goalpost is flash especially now that he just saw flash is seemingly ahead of him (now we know why flash was so juiced in the manga). Saitama will always prob be a motivator or symbol of strength for him showing that humanity can go beyond the limits and the path of monsters or other means is a shortcut but now he has something that grounds him and will make him open up to people more
Also love the fact the monster cells were used again to parallel off of back when he got one. Im guessing the reason it was different is sonic had become jaded due to the outside world where as flash has been sorta gaining his innocence or hopefulness back which I love the dichotomy going on between them

So, Blast and Empty Void both have these extradimensional powers, except Empty Void's ability allows him to travel through a dimension that not even Blast can access. Empty Void's abilities might be more like Blast's than we'd think or some variation of it.
If Blast showed up, that means Saitama should be there too no ? Excited for next chapter :D

I believe Void blitzing behind Flash is a call back to Blast blitzing Flash, I'm not saying Void is just as strong as Blast, but to compare him with Platinum S feels like lowballing him. Platinum S was going toe to toe against Flash and definitely was incapable of suddenly blitzing behind Flash and ending the battle, meanwhile Void seems to be able to kill Flash right there.
We’re finally gonna see the battle between Blast and Empty Void and then Saitama.

S class is too small to describe how strong blast is. They need a Super S or S+ ranking for him. The gap between him and all the others in S class is too wide.
Yeah, when put into perspective, the meaning of the S Class title really loses meaning when individuals like Blast and (ostensibly) Saitama exist. Sure, we've got Tatsumaki in there, but even that's a far leap in scale when the bar for entry seems to be at the level where you get Tank Top Master, Puri Puri Prisoner, and Superalloy Darkshine.
It's the same scale when putting core members of the Justice League up against street level heroes. They're really not the same class of heroes.
Tbh i much preffered the webcomic version of this. Dude was getting hyped up for a long ass time only to get offscreened by saitama 😂

Blast can detect the cubes being activated so theres no way he wasnt going to show up eventually, thankfully he showed up in time. Its been great getting some Flash and Sonic backstory, I really like both their characters.
Seems to me like God didn't follow his own words with Sonic and ended up focusing most of his attention on Flash otherwise he wouldn't have rehashed a moment of weakness on Sonic's part that he actually got over even before his fight with Flash.
Not really a theory, but I'm wondering if we're seeing some kind of "double genjutsu" (I doubt it's the case but I think it might be interesting). Flashy and/or Sonic are both still in the dream world, and it's why everything seems to be going so well against such a powerful villain. It also explains why they were given such obvious (and goofy, in Sonic's case) "offers". Hot take, I know. And probably wrong tbh.

Blast beats him in a battle, he runs away and runs into saitama, and saitama oneshots him and steals his stuff, blast and the crew proceed to take him in, thats the BEST way i can think of this to end with it staying loyal to the webcomic

I think you are highly under estimating Empty Void. He was able to fight along side blast then accepted god power, we saw what a small amount did for Garou. Empty Void showed Cosmic bodies inside of him like Garou showed outwardly. He survived and healed from a serious fight with Blast, and maybe Blast's other team members. He's possibly stronger than Cosmic Garou like Cosmic Garou was stronger than Boros. Otherwise the build up has been a waste of our time, he could have been one shotted and another plot introduced

I think you meant to say he was taking them back to the hero Association not the monster Association, but I think he will run away but he's going to run into saitama and then get leveled into the ground just like in the web comics.
Being able to completely perception blitz a STRONGER flashy flash actually puts empty void way above platinum s. A weaponless Flash Flash, though outmatched, was at least _relative_ to platinum s.
He was outclassed, but he could at least throw hands at Plat S, even if he lost. It's more like Mayweather (play s) vs Pac (Flash). Roughly equal even if one got the W.
I'll say Empty Void is as fast a Platinum S. He is so fast that he clearly got behind Sonic and Falshy witout them semingly noticing it. Flashy at least saw Platinum S' moves.
I love how Empty Void is looming over these kids as a manaceing figure but then Blast does the same to him ;-)

Wasn’t Flashy able to keep up with Platinum S? I know he ultimately lost badly and didn’t land any good hits but I don’t remember Platinum S speed blitzing Flashy to the degree Empty Void has in this chapter.
Platinum S was clearly way faster than Flash but did he outspeed his perception of him at any point?
We also have to remember that Flashy has gotten more powerful since that fight.
Also Garou was in the mix, so Platinum S was definitely focusing more on Garou.

I feel like the reason why Blast never show himself to beat monster anymore is because he does not want to kill HUMANs that shaped as monster. We know that the power that all monster get and exist in One punch man world are blessed by being that call himself god.
Blast is trying to get these monster to become human again and that might be the reason why blast didnt kill elder centipede and empty void.
I hope empty void is able to seal Blast, because if he can open portals, surely he can close them too. “That man” had to have some plan to try to beat Blast and that’s when Saitama has to come in.

So I'm probably wrong to heck with it. I think Sonic represents Saitama's mental fortitude and Flash represents Saitama's Strength in a degree.
Reason being is my best guess is in Sonic's illusion. It wasn't mirroring Flash's due to the betrayal he faced back then and the best attempt to trick him was tugging at his pride. Though even that Saitama shattered. He even decides to set Flashy Flash's speed as a more realistic goal instead of Saitama.
