King has the most Shonen ability. His power is everyone believing he has powers. Any ability or strength his opponent thinks he has will subconsciously manifest as a random event or random accurance around him making people believe in what they think he can do
King is an extremely powerful empath, he broadcasts the fear that he cultivates within himself to others who perceive the King Engine as bloodlust rather than fear because they think that fear is their own.
Its really hard to give his power a name.. like 'bluff', or 'induce doubt', or 'believe the insane'. Its like this power a wife has, when husband asks 'anything wrong?' And she stays silent. Husband goes through tons of questions, possible mistakes, errors, she found out something, i did something, i didnt do something, to a point he is defeated by the sheer 'nothing'. So i just gonna call it 'the act of nothing'.
I agreed King is ridiculously amazing in this chapter. But let us also agree that Atomic is also amazing for accepting his defeat and humiliation in front of his disciples, which should be very rare and very hard for him to accept. Reminds him there's sky above the sky. And not only that, Atomic doesn't give up, even willing to redo training from scratch. That's what we can say to him: "Ganbatte samurai!"

But if you think this, it seems like you're ignoring the actual body of the work that is opm.....we are allowed to have favorites, but your basically changed the story in your head to fit your own outcome. They can watch something that makes fun of them and they have no idea they are being made fun of. They are even laughing along. most just call it a superposition. Usually you can leave that word out unless its like Quantum Tunneling. Where we already have tunneling. But super position is ONLY physics and thus quantum. Whilst tunneling is more than that. His power is to bluff, that is it. Even the show creator says King is not getting any new powers. So, you are reaching and not really paying attention to whats actually going on.

He's on a different level. The reason Atomic believes King can do this feat is because of Kings overwhelming presents and reputation combined with Atomic's overwhelming power and skill. What seems impossible to most is in the realm of the possible for Atomic. King is a S class with the rep of the "strongest", it shouldn't be a surprise he believes King is in the same realm as him.
