How does this video only have 36 likes? Seriously thanks a ton! I really appreciated the thorough walkthrough and having a more experienced pair of hands then my own to get me through my first ipad repair made things SO incredibly easy. Thanks again!
Found your vid and thank heavens I did. Great detail and made the job look easy however, it is tricky so you need loads of patience. Followed your guide and I now have a fully working iPad gen 7 - without a broken screen😉 Thank you so much. It was my first attempt and very successful with the confidence you gave me. 👍
i torn the home button cable pulling off the screen. Will the button still work and just not have touch ID? or do i need to order a new home button assembly?
Thanks you for the video. Was successful in replacing my daughter's iPad screen. Went pretty much as you demonstrated. I used my wife's heating pad to preheat the whole thing before used the heat gun.
I noticed that you didn't use any tape in the corners. While it might be more tedious to work there, why not just use some E7000 glue to bridge the tape and make a sealed connection?
hi! i did this tutorial and it was just like yours with the screen working just fine, I repaired it myself and now the screen turns on but the screen is blank, it stays on for a few seconds but the logo never shows up. one not that i did the replacemtns while the ipdad had 0% battery and i charged it aftet i connected everything. i tried to press the home button and the power button at the same time to rest but it doesnt work, any help would be wonderful
The best way to take the glass off is to put it on a electric room heater put a small space away from the actual heater grill it heat up evenly so it easier to remove if it become a little difficult put it back on the heater it should come quite easy my have to heat it 3=4 times but it quit easy with a room space electric heater . works why better then a heat gun.
