On 4:36 there was a cable connected to that bracket now my home button doesnt work the touch id does but the actual button doesnt work.

Sorry, novice question. As you finished with the small metal brace that goes across the back you simply pressed on what I took to be a ribbon connector terminal (shiny brass looking). Mine was fitted to the original underneath a steel mesh pad. My kit comes with a new brace that is prefitted with a similar mesh pad. Could you tell me how best to refit that terminal to the brace and the purpose of the steel mesh pad? Please! Many thanks

Excellent and interesting in the efficient way you have your whole set up geared to quick usage, with tapes glues etc to hand in dispensers for the job, I haven’t checked but do you have a list of your tools etc that you use, as it helps in getting things that one may need, rather than the trial and oh so many error ways, some of the electronics guys I watch do this for that exact reason and lastly have you done videos on removing glass broken glass as again there seems to be confusion in glass digitisers as there is on laptops. Great video though it made me subscribe.
What is the UV activated glue that you use?
Could you also make a video about the ipad air 3rd gen? I have trouble with the aligning of the button, its an original screen so there arent any marked areas where to put the bracket.

I answer this question in my latest q&a video however it is usually because of some kind of failure. This will likely need replacing
