I’ve only just found your channel and love what your doing and how your setting your shed up. I’ve not long had my shed build finished and you have given me a lot of ideas. Your shed looks similar to mine, it wouldn’t happen to be a safety steel shed by any chance?
Great to hear! The shed itself was locally sourced from a company (not Safety Steel Structures), no idea where the components itself come from, but I can't imagine they differ that much from other vendors/brands etc and it wouldn't surprise me if most shed builders source their components from the same manufacturers.
Thanks! Yes landscaping is coming soon. The house is very new, and the next door neighbours are currently finishing building their house. There is no fence dividing us so once they finish and we build the dividing fence we'll get stuck into landscaping which is hopefully soon.
It does look very imposing in the shop, but I have to say the air quality at the end of day is a huge improvement and as someone who suffers from asthma it's better to be on the side of too big rather than too small.
Its been about 10 months since the video, what are your thoughts about it? IS it doing its job well,I might have to consider one for myself down the road.
Given how often I clean out the filters and just how much fine dust it catches, I don't think I'd go back to not having it. Additionally as an asthmatic this is at least for me a non negotiation must have.
I bought the same one and man did I have trouble putting it up on my own. Can you let me know how you get on with your remote I have to get right up to it for the remote to work. I use an extension cord and I don’t have any problems and it’s been running for about 7 months
Nice! Thanks for the heads up. To be safe I did purchase a heavy duty extension that is rated for 10amps so that should be plenty. As for the remote, I'll for sure keep an eye on that, I did first notice it can be a little sensitive on the distance too.
@@barberspaddockwoodworking sorry just one more thing to replace the filter Timbercom want $75 plus delivery for one I sourced mine on Amazon I got a 4 pack $120
@@barberspaddockwoodworking if your careful when cleaning you’ll get 5 to 6 months out of the front filter the cardboard rips pretty easily the back one is still ok so far if I find a good replacement for a better price I’ll send you a link
%100 correct, I'm certain that this is a re-badge of a dozen different brands. I've seen Jet ones, and Wen ones that look identical, I'm certain there would be others as well.
Extension cords are made to a price and cause fires. Even when they say heavy duty they are lying. Usually gotta plug in a heating element to cause a fire but a wire will bake for years until it finally goes and the way it is hard to detect before is why it’s so bad. In wall can do the same but at least it’s a standard gauge. People replace breakers for higher amps but leave the wire the same all the time.
Thanks for the info. I did source my cord from my electrician who assured me it's rated for 10 amps, which is the same as the circuit it's on. The instructions did call for at least 3 amps, but I figured to match the wall I went with 10.

Nice, thanks for that I was curious if there some aftermarket or cheaper ones. How often are you finding you're having to replace them?

Looks like my Jet air filter, just different color.
