I have to warn you that I have no formal automotive training, and have just learned by breaking stuff. If you can learn anything from my mistakes then great, but you do so at your own risk!
This is an excellent video, this was exactly what I was hoping to find when googling how to fit my kiravan to my Vivaro. It's like having a friendly family member helping out - thank you so much 😊

You will need to change that plug and socket as it is not designed for constant use. You will only need 2 pins, maybe 3. The swivel seat makes a huge difference to the space, so that 4 people can sit and eat. Our Vivaro is fully converted and we use it all the time, a great van, much better than the Transporter. We have no second battery/split charger/solar and don't need it. The fridge is powered only when the engine is running and have never lost any food worthy of mention, the rest of the load is USB charging and LED lights, which use next to nothing. We keep a lithium starter/powerpack just in case £50 and can help others with it. I am very envious of your LWB, our is standard. We got the supplier to fit ours and you were about as quick, so thanks for sharing...."Me and you and a bog named Boo."

Going to be putting one of these into my Trafic soon, considering replacing the center pivot bolt with one with a hole in to run the pre-tensioner cables through, save having to disconnect... hopefully there will be enough clearance to make this happen.

I fitted the kiravans single plate as I have 2 singles, the good thing is there is a central axis hole in the single and the pre tension cable pops through that, so you can swivel the seat round without disconnecting ,the the only issue being you need to put a flexy conduit
Split up the middle and shrouding over it, not like I did without ,spun the chair round snagged the wire in the workings and then wondered a few weeks later why my airbag light was on at mot time but all sorted now ...!

Hi,I’ve got a 2019 Vivaro,I’m a bit unsure of the seat swivel fitting,apparently some adapting is required on the top hat shaped spacers,have you any info on this,atb Colin P👍
Thanks Colin, I didn't cut my top hat, I just swapped the spacers around and added a washer. I explain it about 8.1/2 minutes into the video.

Thank you for the Video and explanation, very well executed. I am however looking for a system that will enable a Vauxhall Movano 2019, and apparently? there are no double swivel kits for this model /and also the Renault master🤔

Brilliant video,I did mine today, only thing I have concerns about is rubber mat that covers the battery panel. If ever I need to access the battery?

I'm in the middle of converting mine into something I couldn't find. Originally I bought the van to carry my mx bike to the tracks It then became my daily. I have kids so had to fit seats in the rear. I felt bad on them so fitted windows. I'm now converting into a full mpv/camper. It's a lwb high roof but they aren't that big compared with other vans however I need to get 6 of us in traveling through Europe and to sleep in it plus I still need to be able to use it to carry my mx bike. So it mostly folds away. And it will have 2 double beds. A kitchen and a toilet room 😂

Yes that was great information for me I have a 2005 Vauxhall vivaro and want to do that with my double seat ,have you any idea where I could get a second hand bracket like you did if not the best place to buy a new braket.Also can the same be done on the driver's seat .many thanks Tony
Thanks, for second hand keep a look out on Facebook marketplace and eBay. For new, I think they're only available from Kiravans (not sure though??). They also do one for the drivers seat.

Is it possible to swivel drivers seat after doing this to the double passenger seat ? im getting a lot of disinformation from other places :-(
ps my vehicle is Trafic 2015, twin swivel is already done.
I haven't done it myself so can't confirm for sure. They sell them, so I would have thought yes.
Brilliant video! Good job. I'm trying to do the same but on a Renault Master. The seat mountings look the same size, but do you know if they are? I can't find an easy way of finding other van dimensions without holding up random vans! Kiravans and others just claim ignorance. I suggested this was a hole in the market, but they didn't bite!

totally agree I have the same problem with the Vauxhall Movano, apparently? I'm told are the same bodies

Can you not cut and extend the cable under the seat so you don't have to keep undoing it?
@@maxv77 Yes you could, I've also heard of people putting a stretchy/curly cable in. I'm not that worried about it as I don't use it all that often 👍.
My first thought as wel. I would forget it the second time I use it and break something.

I'd like to do the same in mine, but the water tank is right behind the seat. Is there a way to turn the seat avoiding the whole thing to protrude the actual cabin space? (Sorry for my english)

I would convert to single seats so as I could get access from front to rear in bad weather
Thanks, I thought about it and even got another single but found I was using the twin seat regularly. Also, to get in the back from the drivers seat you have to push it right back to get past the gearstick lump.

What a bargain! I'm about to buy the Kiravan Double swivel and a double passenger seat and I've got to sell a kidney! Thanks for the video - I'm not able to do the work myself but it's always good to know how it's done. Can I ask, why do you have to unplug the seatbelt plug every time it swivels? Is it to do with the length of the cable, if so is there any way to solve this issue? I'm a bit concerned that repeatedly disconnecting it may damage the seat belt pretensioner cable thing and render it dangerous when I set off again with my children using the seat belts for their car seats. You asked so, I've got a prof converted LWB 2013 with pop top roof. My first campervan and I absolutely love my van!!
Thanks 👍. They are expensive aren't they. The pre-tensioner cable is too short as standard but if it was longer I think it just might get tangled up all of the time? I'm glad you're enjoying your van, hopefully we'll have the weather to go camping back soon🤞
