I became very familiar with this figure last week when I got the G1 version at a comic shop last week. Terrifying. The black plastic felt like it was made to break. Transformed it exactly once and swapped it back ASAP. I really hope the yellow plastic feels better, because there's so much about the engineering i like.
Name: Dragstrip. Faction: Decepticon. Occupation: Warrior. Vehicle mode: race car. Subgroup: Stunticons. Motto:” The first one to cross the finish line lives.”
Cripes! The instructions are a bloody garbled mess and this video makes his transformation complete cake! Man thank you for saving my sanity with this guy!
Great vids! You got a fan on me. I think you miss a part.. in the legs, midlle legs there are like a little square panel that you have to turn.. sorry if you don"t get me.. english is note my native laguage
Can I ask where you get your music from please? I’ve been following for a while now and I can’t get the music you use out of my head! 👌🏻🤩 great workout as always!
How do the double tires on the arms swivel back?? On mine they run into the plastic immediately and even taking Great care the plastic on one shoulder snapped
Do you have a timecode for what part of the sequence your're referring to? Either way I'll discuss it on my next livestream this coming Wednesday around 5pm.
@@andreyofdoom It's odd, but I have no issues with that movement. There is a curved area in the upper arm that accommodates the wheel. I can move the wheels past it to the flat position of the instructions, but I like they way the wheel fits in that curved slot and subsequently I like how the wheels look at an angle instead of flat.
@@peolesdru maybe that's a mold update. On mine not only the tire runs into the plastic but the yellow piece plastic that holds the wheels runs into the plastic too. Even with the wheels taken off it would crack bending there
@@andreyofdoom Interesting. During the turn-around of the robot (at about 0:55) you can see the wheel is cupped by the yellow of the arm. Did your version not have that cut-out on the arm to allow the wheel?
Nice animation. Do you feel that this Carbot meets the masterpiece threshold. I only have crack-up, but I enjoy him quite a bit aside from his creamy colour.
You purchased this from ShowZ right? About how long did it take to show up? I bought Black Apple Thunder Leader before Thanksgiving week and the last update I got on it was that it was starting overseas, back on December 4th
Love the smooth, cartoon-esque proportions.
Ha. Everyone forgets the little boxes on his lower legs, even the mighty Peolesdru.
Read the notes. I know they're there, I just don't like them.
Well I look like a world-class fool. So you did!
It was still a good spot, so good on you.

If you're referring to the little ornaments in the lower legs I mention them in the video description. I just don't like how they look.

Read the video description. ;)

@@peolesdru 00:27 but I also noticed you didn't get them 90 degrees back like the instructions say. That's where the breakage will occur

It's pretty nice design work. The finish is a bit unpainted, though.

I've gotten quite a few things from them at this point and have yet to have any issues, other than things getting stuck in customs for about a week.
Have you thought about getting the civil warrior cw-01 general grant (I believe it's a 3rd party war within Optimus prime) ?
I hadn't given it much thought - it falls outside my interests.
don't follow the included instructions, they suck and lead the arm breaking on mine
