The range of the guns are the same, they are simple circles drawn around it. And since the lower the circle goes, the more ground it covers, It looks like the gun has more range. Yes I have won a game with blue laser once, and yes there are new viewers in 2023.

Actually, with the special, you can actually barely hold the line in each era and get to era 5 before the enemy, which happen in both normal and hard mode. But the special in the 3rd era is so freaking weak so 100% you cant 1v1 in that era. That's why he stalled until the 4th era upgrade is avaiable.
That's basically the trick, once you get to the 4th era it's pretty much over, just get the blue turrets and wait like 15 minutes for gold and you can win with like 10 super soldiers

The extra 10 gold per unit is nothing after a while, and your back line of units is going to be an absolute unit of defense that can wipe everything up until future age. It also allows uou to save your money a bit better to go straight to future from caveman. Also should upgrade turrets from the bottom up as they do have very slightly different effective ranges.
I remember when the blue lazer turrets were able to hit the enemy base if it killed all enemies on the map. I also remeber that you could pause the game when you used the special power, so it would all come down instantly like the meteors.

Remember when you've played these really cool games as a kid and then when you turn over 10, did it happened to you too to forgot the name and trying all the name to get the correct name? Medieval crossbowman can win the game easily. Just spam them as soon as you get to Medieval and you've won. The extra range and speed absolutely recks shop.
I remember buying 4 of those blue laser turrets and realizing that nothing could get past them so I wanted to see how much gold you could get and left the computer, only to come back to a victory screen after like five minutes, didn't think they could actually kill the enemy base
In an older version of the game the blue turrets had infinite range so they would shot units as soon as they spawned and by the time the unit died some bullets would still be travelling and they would hit the enemy base. it was OP and fun
@@1.-ulysses334 I mean, the nerf on the range didn't make them any less OP, it only made them take longer to destroy the enemy base. Nothing can ever reach you, and if the enemy base doesn't spawn units fast enough, their base will still take damage. All in all the turrets can be considered just as broken as when they had unlimited range, they only need a few more minutes to kill the base. You're still not forced to actually deploy units to win, 4 blue turrets are still a win condition by themselves.
The strategy used in the video has a couple of issues. One issue is the fact that cavemen are not being spammed when enemy reaches the third age all the time. Another issue is using clubmen in the third age instead of slingshotmen. An unlucky storm of musketeers in third age can wipe out an entire army of clubmen without providing any resistance, leading to an inevitable loss. This doesn't happen with slingshotmen, who are able to kill musketeers reliably.
1:24 Just a tiny fraction of the way through and this emulates my strategy perfectly. Turrets are key. When you finally get to the last stage the ion cannon has a long enough range to actually hit the enemy tower...
Yea last time i played this game the ion cannons did a lot of damage to the base but it takes a while so i decided to finish up the remaining like 20% hp with actual troops lmao
The 9:50 mark is where the mobile version becomes quite literally impossible. The cannon guy's attacks don't reset correctly so when he moves up, he instantly attacks instead of the usual half sec charge time. If anyone has actually beaten impossible on mobile, I'd love to know how you get past this part.
How nostalgic that oversaturated sound effects, even when it is bad, it is beautifuly bad, it may have been a simple project, but for us it was our childhood. Thanks for completing this challenge for all of us kids.
On some websites, the final blue laser towers at the end could reach all the way to the enemy base, attacking enemies the moment they spawned, leaving damage to the enemy base as well, made the game so much easier.

My best strategy is:
Be in stone age
Stacking midle troop in front of your base... when they shoot together they are very VERY strong.

Medieval crossbowman can win the game easily. Just spam them as soon as you get to Medieval and you've won. The extra range and speed absolutely recks shop.
The cannons in aow 2 are op. You've gotta try them out if you havent
Also if turret can take down injured enemy troops, might as well save your money before launching counter-attack which might not work out.

I remember buying 4 of those blue laser turrets and realizing that nothing could get past them so I wanted to see how much gold you could get and left the computer, only to come back to a victory screen after like five minutes, didn't think they could actually kill the enemy base
I actually did this with the advanced turrets of the 4th era once and it was hillarious
iirc its bc If they shoot but the only guy dies in the meantime the shot will keep going and hit the base
In an older version of the game the blue turrets had infinite range so they would shot units as soon as they spawned and by the time the unit died some bullets would still be travelling and they would hit the enemy base. it was OP and fun
@@1.-ulysses334 I mean, the nerf on the range didn't make them any less OP, it only made them take longer to destroy the enemy base. Nothing can ever reach you, and if the enemy base doesn't spawn units fast enough, their base will still take damage.
All in all the turrets can be considered just as broken as when they had unlimited range, they only need a few more minutes to kill the base. You're still not forced to actually deploy units to win, 4 blue turrets are still a win condition by themselves.

The strategy used in the video has a couple of issues. One issue is the fact that cavemen are not being spammed when enemy reaches the third age all the time. Another issue is using clubmen in the third age instead of slingshotmen. An unlucky storm of musketeers in third age can wipe out an entire army of clubmen without providing any resistance, leading to an inevitable loss. This doesn't happen with slingshotmen, who are able to kill musketeers reliably.

1:24 Just a tiny fraction of the way through and this emulates my strategy perfectly. Turrets are key. When you finally get to the last stage the ion cannon has a long enough range to actually hit the enemy tower...
I used to beat the Game like that when i was a Kid. Just kill their Base with Ion Cannons...
Yea last time i played this game the ion cannons did a lot of damage to the base but it takes a while so i decided to finish up the remaining like 20% hp with actual troops lmao

The 9:50 mark is where the mobile version becomes quite literally impossible. The cannon guy's attacks don't reset correctly so when he moves up, he instantly attacks instead of the usual half sec charge time. If anyone has actually beaten impossible on mobile, I'd love to know how you get past this part.

Slingshots and don't age up until you have money for serious defences
Upgrade your tower atleast up to 3 chicken towers, sell and upgrade the blue canon ( cost 3k).

I love how normal mode is so easy you can nearly beat the entire game with just chicken turrets, but impossible is... well the name isn't too far off.
On some websites, the final blue laser towers at the end could reach all the way to the enemy base, attacking enemies the moment they spawned, leaving damage to the enemy base as well, made the game so much easier.
impossible is piss easy, beat it 2nd try yesterday and then 5 more times today just to see how fast i can do it lol you just gotta follow this strategy
