@@jerryfick8547 each cab pair is specifically chosen to be perfect together, so decoupling them isn’t possible right now. Best plan is to flip IR bypass switch and use external cab loader with your favorite IR’s or the OTTO CABS VOL 1 that i am about to release.

That said, the soldano avenger 100 is one of my favorite amps that I've used live for over a decade, so it undoubtedly has tuned my ears and impacted the development of my tone decisions. Hey man, I just downloaded the demo and I’m honestly blown away !! You guys did a REALLY good job on this ! And the only two amp sims I’ve ever liked are the Gojira and omega from neural Dsp. And I’ve tried sooo many others that I just can’t dial in to my liking. This thing nails it !! And the mono / stereo feature is a killer idea !! I’ve only played around with it for 30 minutes and already have a perfect tone. The 9 string hammer preset with a few tweaks here and there and it’s perfect !! Seriously, I’m not just blowin smoke this thing rocks !!

Just bought this last night and now Im going through all the old vids about it. To me, this is a game changer for baritone and lower. The controls remind me a lot of the detail you can do with Bias 2. When the honeymoon ends, Im gonna come back and give an update on my thoughts. Right now its the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Nice work Otto Audio. I was just thinking a couple weeks ago, after playing the 8th "Bogner" VST, "its weird that most amp plugins are still modeling other amp hardware. They can make whatever they want with the possibilities". I was thinking it would be cool to see more stuff like Aurora DSP did recently with The Rhino by making something flexible and unique. I think of modelers as a way of giving you an idea of what spice you're about to get rather than being exact copies but it's still nice to see something new. And thanks for being the first one to really do the low end right or something because I've never sounded so powerful.
Thanks for sharing this Kyle, this amp sim is KILLER ! This is not just ANOTHER amp sim in my opinion. I’ve tried so many and 99% of them just leave me frustrated. Even the Fortin Nameless( which everyone swears by ), I don’t like it. Lol. The Gojira and the Omega are the only two I use and I have about 10 others that just sit there as eye candy on my desktop lol. So with all that said, the Otto II II II II sounds dope right away. No weird boxiness, easy to get rid of harsh frequencies when needed and the presets are awesome. I jammed on it for about 30 minutes and already dialed in a perfect tone to my taste and I can see this being my go to from here out. Hopefully I’ll spend less time TRYING to dial in a good tone and more time writing and recording !! The mono/stereo feature is a brilliant idea too, Ill probably be using that quite a bit to save time. I might just get a power stage and use this for a jam rig too. 🤯 🤘😖

DEW IT- Palpatine (probably) - phone or UA-cam may sound fizzy, but check it out in proper context - it's engineered to be experienced sitting between your studio monitors. Love it man! I can’t stop playing it either and I built the thing haha. Flip the lR bypass on back and Just grab any IR loader (just Google free impulse response loader) and place it after The II II II II in your daw. It will make your FAVORITE IR’s sound even better!

I just got the sim and it is the best I've used so far. Even better than the Overloud TH-U, and for me, that's saying something. But dude, the one preset I wanted isn't included in the bank you're offering. The Swedish tone, not included. Bummer. I like the presentation though. A nice breakdown of the sim and functions. if you're using the clean power of the seymour duncan amp, i would think keeping the Otto's power amp emulation would be the best way to get the sims abilities to emulate a tube power section, including the depth and presence. right? cause without it, you're only getting preamp emulation right? which sounded good but was missing that tube power saturation.
Correct, but at the same time, you're thinking of the voicing of the power amp. Power tubes don't saturate on Soldanos, they're meant to be run clean for the full volume sweep. But yes, I tried it with the power section on with the Power Stage and felt things were working a little better with it turned off.
@@belligerentamateur gotcha, i did not know that about Soldanos. In comparison to the Soldano head you were comparing it to, that makes sense. Is that even with the SLO circuit too? Do you know if the Jet City Soldano Design JCA amps also run that circuit the same way? I assume in general situations with the tweak-ability to the sims power section you would leave the power tube emulation on (not that you'd ever need to do it but for arguments sake, lol)? On a totally separate note , what did you think of the Diamond F-4?! TBH, when i first got it, I was not the biggest fan of it at all, and I didn't touch it for a while, and just pretended it was just a bad day of playing on my part. but I was tinkering with it for a few days and over that time i really started to like it a lot more, especially after i did some swapping out the V1 preamp tube from the Ruby Tubes 12ax7 that was originally in it. Granted, I had already listed it on reverb and did actually need to move some crap out of the house so I left it listed, not actually thinking anyone would even look at the listing. 😂 woops. haha. it was a financially gloomy month as well so it helped out a lot.

Hey Kyle, great demo as always! Also Otto Audio did a great job in this amp sim, it sounds aggressive and like you said, different, in a very good way! I believe it was left to explain: What those options next to preset do? I'm referring to those options 1991, 1992, II II II II and so on. Maybe Reid can clarify this?
That section is like the foundation of your tone, tonal structure. Everything else after it changed in reactivity, sound, feel, be sure to volume match to judge correctly by turning up the master OR amplitude. 😎🤜🤛
This destroys any Neural DSP product by a long shot. Only the AxeFX has the controls and realism this has. The control of the negative feedback is a feature that only this amp sim and the fractal axefx3 has. And that should be on any amp sim that aims to do the Rectifier tone. So this plugin can totally sound and feel like a red channel Rectifier for the first time in a plugin format (apart from Fractal axe fx 3 hardware).

As someone who is tired of how close amp sim A to real amp A, this kind of plugin is very refreshing. We need more digital amp sim which isn't based on any existing real world amp. Just beautiful sounding amp which we can enjoy without comparing it to any real world amp.
i wish someone .....would make a video.......describing or even demonstrating what items are needed to be able to use this ottoaudio . No one covers that. They just have the O.A. open on a screen & show what it can do, .......... what about cords, what about software, what about a pedal. an interface, whats required & whats not. Hey Kyle, great demo as always! Also Otto Audio did a great job in this amp sim, it sounds aggressive and like you said, different, in a very good way! I believe it was left to explain: What those options next to preset do? I'm referring to those options 1991, 1992, II II II II and so on. Maybe Reid can clarify this?
That section is like the foundation of your tone, tonal structure. Everything else after it changed in reactivity, sound, feel, be sure to volume match to judge correctly by turning up the master OR amplitude. 😎🤜🤛

This destroys any Neural DSP product by a long shot. Only the AxeFX has the controls and realism this has. The control of the negative feedback is a feature that only this amp sim and the fractal axefx3 has. And that should be on any amp sim that aims to do the Rectifier tone. So this plugin can totally sound and feel like a red channel Rectifier for the first time in a plugin format (apart from Fractal axe fx 3 hardware).

As someone who is tired of how close amp sim A to real amp A, this kind of plugin is very refreshing. We need more digital amp sim which isn't based on any existing real world amp. Just beautiful sounding amp which we can enjoy without comparing it to any real world amp.

i wish someone .....would make a video.......describing or even demonstrating what items are needed to be able to use this ottoaudio . No one covers that. They just have the O.A. open on a screen & show what it can do, .......... what about cords, what about software, what about a pedal. an interface, whats required & whats not. Awesome plugin,I call it a program. Software whatever, ..........But... wish someone would tell the newbs all the beginner details on how to get it, set it up, what to plu into what,.
it's the same as any other amp sim plugin as far as hookup goes, so just search how to use an amp sim on UA-cam
