I loved the shot, my one "complaint" was that there was no shot of the insta 360 link in that shot. The shot that you used to compare between the two cameras was nowhere nesr as well set up in terms of lighting and didn't look near as good. I would have loved to see the two cameras both in that lighting to see the actual difference.
Harris it would be cool to compare this against the Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra. It's the one Razer Webcam that has been a great performer for me since launch. The sensor is probably the largest on any 4k Webcam from a PC oriented company. In regards to the Tiny 2, it's nice to see what they're doing to pack a punch for a gimbal webcam.
Insta360 Link is currently $50 cheaper (normally $20 cheaper). Not that cheaper is better and not that OBSBOT isn't a good product, but at this price range, if it's not clearly better, it's worth it to save money. When things are very similar, the cheapest item almost always wins.
Great to see them finally support PAL framerates. Something is up with the motion, either the camera is running at an weird frame rate or is running at a very high shutter speed causing the video to look very jerky compared to the Insta360.
How would u rate the tiny 2 vs something like the Sony ZV1-F? Im on the fence of buying 1 or the other and i can get a really good deal on the ZV1-F right now. Even lower than the Tiny 2. So im wondering whats the better option?
Hi, I just received this camera today but the firmware and Obsbot center won’t download because my antivirus software says a virus is detected in the files. Im attempting to downland the files from the Obsbot official website and I have a windows 11 computer, please help!
i bought this a few days ago , its hampered by the software for mac m1 processors the software does not work with the system , desk mode does not work, most of the menu for zooming and panning does not work correctly , you can zoom in but it zooms out automatically even with it set zoomed in . focus issues with soft image even in 60p mode , no way to save position , its in the menu but does not work. maybe a hardware issue .also issues with colour balance everything is blue tinted, cant be corrected on software no vertical options for mac silicon.They have no date for any update for mac, returning for refund, replaced with the Brio 4k Stream edition which has none of these issues.

This is actually a really good question. Every brand is different so it's important to make sure they agree to anything before you start. OBSBOT had actually requested a side by side on this one so before I started I made sure they acknowledged that if the Insta360 Link was better in any test, I wouldn't be restricted from mentioning that.. which is why I brought up the autofocus difference between the two.

Shots looked fantastic and appreciate the transparency about sponsored content as always. This is not something that's in my price range whatsoever. In a couple of years when the next big jump in quality comes and perhaps these reduce to more realistic prices. I feel we almost need a new class or something new to call these, webcam doesn't seem to do them justice.
I can tell you are recording internally to OBS with a capture card because the video becomes choppy here and there - and this has been my issue and a headache for some time now. I have m1 max 32gb mac, latest obs, streamer x + hd60x, and a7c, I can't get rid of that occasional choppiness, I came close but it still happens here and there, dunno am I the only one noticing this? anyone has some thoughts or solutions?
The biggest reason I'm looking at the inst360 is for the vertical change. I want to use that for my TikTok streams and switch it back to normal whenever I do anything else
it could be cool to mount that to the ceiling in the center of the room and have it ready to track you as you walk around to grab stuff. kind of like the GTA cinematic cam
i actually have seen some people use the insta360 for that purpose with kitchen/cooking streams and another stream where he was building something in his garage. Made it a lot more enjoyable to watch since the camera tracked them all around the space.
Waiting for the day these webcams (OBSBOT and Insta360) officially sell here in Brazil. At the moment, the price is too high because the reseller has to pay too many taxes

Are you talking about old sony focus tracking from 90s or smt? That was dumb/simple but it worked well. The iPhone focus tracking since iPhone 5 or smt has been "AI". Back in the day we used "AI" for basically human robots in movies etc and now it's how the code is written :D It's okay to call the face tracking in these AI :D

If you mount the Tiny 2 sideways, it does reconfigure to vertical format for TikTok content.

Very nice camera, but for 300 quid, I rather go for a DSLR camera (new or second hand) that I can use for more purposes than this.

Would pick up any AI tracking gimbal 4k webcam if they could figure out the heat issue. Haven't found one yet that doesn't get too hot.
