Update: The remote feature for the Insta360 Link shown in this video was a pre-release software update. I have been informed that Insta360 will be releasing the update publicly some time this week.
That was pretty much the conclusion we all came to during the live stream. Obsbot clearly has better color, better facial tracking, Insta360 Tiny2 is cheaper and the app control is smoother than Obsbot's overpriced remote control. The Obsbot's weird beauty features are neat but none of them worked in anywhere close to convincingly, it can't do vertical and only has 3 save positions but it also has set zones of interest. It really comes down to what your budget is and what you're looking for in a PTZ. I'm thinking I'll go with the Insta since it's cheaper, has 6 set positions, and I can just slap one of the custom LUTs I already have for my trash Logitech Brio to fix washed out colors.
@@hazonkuyeah I have the Insta right now and I love it. I was thinking of getting the tiny2 but reading your comment I tying I’ll stay with what I got now
the image quality and color from obsbot is for sure better, the hand track feature is neat for presenting stuff ( feet people are just weird) and the face tracking might be better, but the smartphone app, the 3 axes adjustments and having more presets is i think better in terms of covering all the bases. i mean with LUTS you can improve it a little bit, but you cant physicly alter the functions of a webcam that easily. what in the ends it boils down to is either having a good webcam with good tracking features or a with a little bit of work good webcam with some really cool features. i think i would go for the insta not only because of the 3 axes support, but also because of the app ( personal prefrence ), more presets and the easy tutorials( on the web for fixing or updating or general informations )/reputation ( i assume more people would buy that product and so customer support would be better/more generous for customer retention in case something breaks)
I appreciated the side by side comparison! I found the Insta360 Link had more detail not only on you but also objects in your background. Also having a 3rd axis of movement and a free remote (via your phone) makes this a better product in my eyes. Thank you for another great video!
based on this review I bought the link 360 and its the best webcam I've ever used. I do weekly webinars for clients who pay 20-30k to learn what I do and this cam has lifted the quality of my production massively! super nice webcam.
in better lighting, the obsbot is definitley superior, but in lesser lighting, the insta360 one seems to top it, but the quality of the left one outweighs the quality of the right one just generally, also during the auto focus, the obsbot's quality doesn't change, and the focus is perfect, but the insta360 isn't really that good with the focus. personally i would go with the obsbot, it seems better in every way. though the fact that the obsbot can't turn in three axis, that's a little bit annoying, but i feel as though it's still worth it as you can just edit it if you want to make a youtube short, it would definitley be better quality than the insta360 even though the insta 360 is actually recording vertically. so overall i personally would go with the obsbot. but im gonna stick with my trusty old 20 euro 1080p webcam lol
Aargh! I liked the OBSBOT picture better by far, but the lack of Vertical framing is very frustrating. Okay, Blake, avoid difficult decisions: get one of each.

I'm about halfway through, and the one on the right seems like it gets better quality lights and better darks, and the left seems a bit more blown out and seems like it doesn't pick up colors/lights as well. Just look at the crates to the left behind Nutty, I think that speaks for itself! Love the Insta 360, I've been using it for about 5 months now. Great quality! I've seen some say that it heats up, although it DOES heat up, even at 4k quality recording which I'm assuming pushes the camera further, it has never had a single problem even after recording for 8+ hours at a time! I wasn't surprised when I got to the reveal, great vid! Your content is very informative and helpful for a lot of people, including myself. So thank you! Also, first! :D
I've had the obsbot for bout three weeks. I won it in a contest on twitter. It took a little bit of a learning curve to get it to work well for my streaming purposes, but it is a step up from the logitech 922 I was previously using.
The OBS bot is better imo, better colours and sharpness, but also the tracking and stuff, sadly the remote is paid separately. However, after 5+ years of stagnation in webcams I feel both of these are a breath of fresh air and excited for future webcams to come!
The colors on the ObsBot look fake to me.. like its washing it though a colorize filter to "enhance" what the real colors are. Its also not quite as sharp as the insta.
Really interesting to see more gimbal options out there. Seems they are at least competitively priced, although I'd consider it a fairly high end purchase at $300.

The only thing I would mention is throughout the video there was a light directly behind your head or not, but the camera on the right had to deal with it more. I personally have the Instalink, but I wasn’t sure which was which until you did the focus test. My only beef with the Instalink is I can’t rotate it to horizontal while the camera is a source in OBS.
Some time has gone and I hate my decision to buy an Insta 360 Link. OBSBOT does have an open API know and the camera can be controlled via official StreamDeck Plugin. Insta360 Link is missing those features. There is and there simply will never be a way to control the tracking feature via StreamDeck. That's so sad. 😞
Kinda prefer the OBSBOT. i really want the better DOF Bokeh DSLR feel. the 360 is sharper but everything is in focus which makes it feel rather dated. the best for this atm is the Razer kiyo pro ultra which has the biggest sensor but not the features of these two. the OSBOT also has the most accurate colours of the two. i really feel we are at the very beginning of the Next Gen webcam era. in 2 - 3 years time we will have DSLR quality cams. Hello, I wanna know if there is a way to show my steam achievements on my OBS. I wanna show my audience my progress, but I would like to know if there is a nice way to show them.
Thank you.
Lets just go ahead and trash the one on the left, it looks horrible.
Y camera you can actually see detail and almost read the labels behind Nutty. X camera is WAY over saturated, and there is no detail or depth.
Insta360 has the better quality imo.
Nutty is just too fast too furious!
OBSbot lost you too in that test where you had them both track you from what I noticed. Also OBSbot has a wider view, it that might be why its easier to track you.
Is it charging and working the same time while connecting to PC?
Nutty can you tell me which one looks better? I don't have eyeballs.
