Finally a unsponsored review! Now I need the insta360 Link 2C and obsbot Meet 2 comparison as a customer who doesnt care about the movement motor part. You earned a sub!
@@NEONAIRSHIP I already bought the Obsbot Meet 2 a month ago, and It’s 40-45 USD cheaper here compared to link 2c coz i got it on sale. The image quality difference is not that big, and it can be adjusted with an app to make it even looked better. Thanks for making the video! glad you also prefer meet 2 because of the price haha
Appreciate the very raw and direct content. I noticed the Link2 right off the bat had better dynamic range. The Osbot seemed to have natural color and softer image look for you, possibly the Link 2 was just oversharpeneded as you say. Colors are are always more opinionated and is something adjustable through software, though these are web cams so if their native software doesn't have it, I imagine it's a supreme pain to try to do some sort of color grading on the fly through a streaming setup. Maybe streaming software itself has it. Exposure / dynamic range however is based on the physical limits of the camera and the Link2 is just better. It maintains a sharp image even when things are pretty unreasonably dark. That larger sensor size really shows a difference when you turned the lights out. I don't think it's something a "professional" streamer does do, but is that because they know their devices are limited and the picture would turn to crap? Audio was hard to tell...maybe the Osbot was slightly better for your voice. However, the Link2 is easily in the same class and may be preferred to some. That the Link2 has that upwards facing microphone in addition to the forward facing one help the AI sound processing features of the Link2 which you did not talk about in this video, but I've seen from others. It has three modes, one background noise cancelling, one voice focus (if you're alone and there's only one voice), and music balance (let's in musics but balances against your voice) modes. I don't know of the Osbot has a comprable feature.
Why is the OSBOT so choppy? Is the camera defective or the computer that it's connected to very slow or what's the reason? I have one and I get very smooth pan, tilt and tracking movements, while on this video its an earthquake of choppiness everywhere compared to the insta360.
You're right it does look a little choppy on UA-cam, but it's not in the recordings. I had to transcode these clips to get them to work properly in Premiere, so maybe there's a slight frame-rate descrepancy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@NEONAIRSHIP have you tried using the insta 360 link 2 on 1080p 60fps? cause all of the video here on yt doesnt show any option or support for it. they are just showing 4k 30fps which is common for these web cams.
Thanks for flagging this, at the moment it seems you have to go to "More" and "Enable portrait resolution and high frame rate" - then it'll work at 60fps in programs like OBS, but still wont show in the Link app. Proper weird.
Yes youtube is full of people claiming its a real dslr quality webcam and that there no competition for it. Hey atleast they received a free webcam... The insta link is still better than all of logitech ill have do admit. Between these too ill take the cheaper one to be honest. :D
@@NEONAIRSHIP Thanks for confirming! I’ve been loving everything I’ve read about it online so far and brings back memories of convincing friends to try out my MS1i, just so we could all suffer the same wallet damage together!
Watch this in 4K or I'll look like I'm chatting waffle.
and if you don't need a gimbal, check out this one - ua-cam.com/video/a22hYvlc1f0/v-deo.html

Yes, I’ve been constantly checking for a comparison between the Meet 2 and Link 2c, but there’s nothing.
Took me a moment, but I've done it!

From what i have seen the insta360 Link 2 is better you can see the picture is clearer and audio is pretty clear as well
Very much appreciated comparison. Seems to beat the Lite handily. Do you think the “full” Tiny 2 would have any advantages?
Great review, honestly.
I hope a future review between Link 1 vs Link 2.

I think you Should have kept the brands hidden for the 4k output so people can judge which one is better without associatings the company
Great content thanks so much for the comparison and the time you took to provide the video
i wanna have one webcam and saw lots of review, seems like obsbot's tiny 2 lite has better image quality and look more natural what do you think?
Nice video. Thanks for your time to do it. It help me a lot!
i like the way you create videos, its amazing, thats how we use it in day to day life, just reviewing like a normal guy that connects. subscribed bro
colours seem to be nicer on the osbot but hdr is better on the Insta. I like the mics on the osbot more but your probably right with the extra mic.
Many thanks for this useful comparison.
Thank you soooooooo much for this❤

I have same obsbot product and it's def better than in this video... sad
Doest it have 1080p 60fps? There's no reviews mentioned about it
Both cams do 1080p60 but only 30fps in 4K

@@NEONAIRSHIP Now, in the Controller there is no 60 fps option, only 30 fps for 720 and 1080 as well

What modes are available? Can you do say 1440p @ 60 fps?
could you please compare the llink 2 with link 1?
Is it just me, or does the sound quality here feel a bit off? obsbot sounds clearer.
It's too much processing, kills all the room tone and sounds a bit robotic. Good if you're somewhere noisy, but not so good when you're not!
Thanks Mate!
I think the tracking is not too good have you tried tiny 2? or tiny 2 lite? tracking part they are winning
It appears that you are the only Non Insta360 sponsored reviewer here. There seems to be no real reason to spend the extra $30 or something at all.

Obsbot tiny 2 or insta 360 link 2?
There's also a OBSBOT Meet 2, albeit no PTZ camera
tiny. Without a doubt
The design of obsbot is much nicer, looks more modern.
Came here looking for a webcam but ended up exploring Grado instead
The GW100X are soo good, I reviewed them for Pocket-lint a long time ago and they've been my go-to desktop set ever since

🤙🏽🤟🏽👌🏽
Unfortunately the Link 1 is way better than 2😂😂😂😂
Yeah I also don't see much improvement
