When you get in a rut Chad you move up to 1/8 scale outdoor buggy Nitro so you can throw a whole new twist into things or you go to the FG model sport 1/5 scale and play with gas and a shit ton of money are you go back and drag race
@sonofflorida4994 I think things have stabilized a lot so it’s easier.in 20-22 we were buying everything constantly and the expense vs reward was very poor. Now looking back it was kind of foolish but we were always fighting for hundreds of a second and back then you could buy that time. Now the development has literally stopped. On road rc is def the hardest for sure. It’s precision building tuning and driving
@@Dorkyand40 oh yeah man I hear ya! I work full time too, it’s impossible for me to do any racing, closest track is an hour out and I can only go on the weekends, so not worth it because I’ll never get the time in. Instead I do crawling because it’s accessible. Plus racing gets $$$$$$$
They did that with the previous generation I think December 22. I know we had to upgrade our escs before big races last summer. This esc and software is just bad and needs fixed. I am still waiting for a response. I feel I’ve been ripped off $130 right now. It’s useless
I struggled in F1 for so long before I figured out how to be on pace. Keep at it once you figure it out it will click and become so much more fun.
I’m trying. I worked on the car last night and I’m ready for the track but it’s going to take some large motivation to get me there tomorrow :)

@@Dorkyand40 understood 😂 😂😂 do you feel as if RC drag racing is one of the hardest sectors of RC racing

Take a break and come back with a fresh perspective. It happens man
Thanks bud. I could use a few practice days instead of showing up cold. But I need to pay for all this shit :) hope you’re feeling good still.

Didn't they have to remove softening value (Timing Retard)recently to conform to ROAR rules..I believe R1 did also
