There was talk at my track if enough people brought these in, they would make a class for it 😁 Right now, the hotness is Mini Zs. I like those a lot too.
I found a track that run these but it's modded class.Castle Creations 1/14 4400kv 1010 series motor this is the only mod they do. What radio esc would be a good upgrade .
Yeah. From what I see online and what we are doing that’s the plan. The mini b and t was a little before its time. It wasn’t very good. So it become a money pit. You can take a box stock arrma typhon grom and run circles around one of those minis. In fact I’ll be getting one for off road this year :)
Awesome stuff man! First time seeing your videos. I'm definitely excited for this car! My local track is figuring out how they want to run the Nascar on road or oval. Tt02 is a great car and class in my opinion but this losi Nascar has the opportunity to become the best beginner car for someone new to racing or rc.
Awesome. Welcome. Should be the same as tr02. We run both with the same car. I use a different body for each and that’s it. This car it shouldn’t matter. I only use a tougher body for oval to help with contact :)
I bought a TT-02 a week before these got announced to get into racing, lol. The racetrack I found isn't racing these as a class yet, but the novice class I'm running in is pretty much open to any chassis. I've also seen a pretty big group about an hour from me announce a Losi NASCAR class, not sure whether it's oval or road or what but it's indoor. I can see myself going to check that out now that the outdoor season will be wrapping up. I was a huge NASCAR fan til about 15 years ago, funny I can see these cars getting me more into RC racing and doing nothing to rekindle my love of NASCAR 😆 If they release blank bodies for this there are going to be some epic liveries that people put out.
Where did you preorder from? I preordered two of them from Amain Hobbies on April 26th. They told me yesterday they probably won't ship now until late October. Local shops already sold out too.
@@gigi9467 well as I said in the video I don’t see new racers. But I see a shit load of people buying these. So there’s opportunity. Or we can cater to 60 year old racers with deep pockets. Or build a new era of racers.
@@Dorkyand40 i definitely agree i was just telling the guy that said a traxxas version didnt work to get new racers in the game, personally i dont like tto2 this though i would buy new tech is always better
@@Dorkyand40 I did and am getting back to it this coming year. Used to race 17.5 open touring mostly. Plenty going on at local Hobbytowns here. Parking lot racing for several classes... VTA, Stock,Spec 21.5,21.5 open, rotating exhibition classes weekly, indoor drift and mini z tracks. Yeah Traxxas tried the Nascar thing before...didnt seem to catch on. Oval with spec pan cars sounds more interesting really.

I think this class will turn into what the mini class was 4 years ago. Keeping it box stock is the way to go

@@Dorkyand40 funny you mentioned the Grom. Thats in a rotating weekly exhibition class here currently too.
I like parking lot action 😎👍
That’s fine
hear me out: a motor power capped class for these in a velodrome, just like in daytona or talladega
Sure I’m so happy after our race tonight. This platform is top notch

Dude run that tt02. All the secrets are here on the channel! And the trophy’s are behind me :)
@@Dorkyand40 Oh, I fully intend to and I've been watching your vids!
Keep the videos about this car coming with input please I do appreciate your input!
Will do! Oval is Wednesday and road course this weekend!
Any recommendations on which shock oils I should have for on road oval?
How do you think it will handle onroad? Im very excited for these. We need a budget option because even TT02’s will end up being 500+ to start out
i think they will be fine man. better then a tt02 id say in a lot of ways. i hope to test some friday

Big Homieeeee🫵🏾💪🏾💯

👍
Yes sir
Darn i do wish u wer track not oval I know this is a NASCAR replica but still.
We do road course too. So you get two classes out of one car. Keep an eye out here for some on road footage
People don't like private tracks because of silly rules they have 😮😅
People actually don’t come to tracks because of the cars that are being used. That’s why this one is different. But we all have our opinions
@@Dorkyand40 on parking lots run what you bring it don't matter 😊👍
Im doubting this blows up much...remember when Traxxas tried Nascar cars?
I don’t. Do you race? What else is going to bring people to a track in a shit economy ?
No traxxas was 200 that was worth it
