It's coming together nicely. Harold I have to agree that corner wall by the door is NOT square. Trimming it was a fun little task. Turning that cabinet into a dresser was an awesome idea. Cassi's gonna be doing paint this week on ours.

@@1StrangeAdventure nope, we had a 3 to 4 inch gap by the floor behind the black diamond plate. Also had a new wall electric outlet just laying on the floor in the cavity of the wall. 😆

I ditched my washer /dryer also. I hated that thing. Got rid of so much weight. I would rather go get it done all at once. And I just gave mine away. Used it maybe 15 times.

Wow! It looks amazing so far and we haven’t seen the finished product! No doubt it will be the BEST garage reno yet! The custom cabinet and dresser came out really nice and so much more functional than having the washer.

What are y’all’s thoughts about about trade in value because you know one it will take place regarding renovations ?
We definitely considered it. I think once you start renovating you would have to lean more towards private sale if you intent to get rid of it. We are keeping this for a while though so don’t have to worry about it anytime soon.
Do you have a video for the final reveal?
We’ve done some work since then and are working on an update video. We do have a short that shows some of it.

Suggestion - your videos simply stop and it "feels" strange (pun intended). Suggest tbat you add a closer, something as simple as thanks for watching or until next time would be a nice touch.

Don't you need to add weight in a toy hauler garage to help leverage weight off of the front pin weight? It's designed to be rear heavy i think...?
Correct, they are nose heavy unloaded so that it balances out when a toy is in the garage.
I have the same patio doors but they have major gaps and aren’t 3 seasons. How are you dealing with making them more airtight?
We added 3M foam weather strips in all the gaps. It's not perfect but it helps a lot.
We are thinking of doing this. What size is the happy jac bed. We have a 2022 momentum.
Is it a full size? I can’t figure it out. Also when you added the extra bracing under it- that was 100% necessary?
Our queen mattress fits on the platform. Are you referring to the bracing we put in the floor? If so, it was necessary bc we could feel it a bit when walking on it. If you used a thicker plywood, it may not be necessary, but it will change how you construct it.
Why don't you have the kids helping, it would be such a good learning experience for them?
They were doing school work most of the time. Also, if we have cameras out, they disappear. It’s quite a talent they have! 🤣
