Josh Jacobs had a really nice game, recording 76 yards on the ground from 12 carries. The offensive line did a nice job creating gaps for him, and he was able to create some explosive plays, including his longest gain of the day, a 27-yarder. There was another 14-yard run that looked like it might be a house call, until a defender got his hand on Josh Jacobs’ foot and brought him down. Josh Jacobs held the record for most consecutive receptions without a touchdown catch. This streak officially ended at 211 catches today, as Josh Jacobs finally got his 1st career receiving touchdown, an 8-yarder in the team’s 1st drive of the 2nd half. We knew it would come this season after Josh Jacobs signed with Green Bay, it was just a matter of when. Thank the heavens for Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks who both combined for 11 catches on 16 targets for 142 yards. The remaining-6 Packers who caught a pass combined for 13 catches and 78 yards. Romeo Doubs was his usual strong-handed self, and Dontayvion Wicks seemed to turn things around a little bit today after a tough season of drops. Romeo Doubs’ final stat line was 8/10 for 94 yards, and Dontayvion Wicks finished the day 3/6 for 48 yards and a touchdown. Overall, the Green Bay Packers offense had a rough day, and struggled to capitalize off of a strong defensive performance. When the 2 sides of the ball manage to click at the same time, this team can be scary. Let’s just hope it happens soon. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
I think it already is scary, honestly if I’m any other team the packers and the ravens are the 2 teams I’m trying to avoid 😂😂I think we can beat any team in the nfl if we’re healthy. Our only real loss is the eagles, that Vikings game was bullshit we missed 2 kicks and that dude valentine who was only in cuz Alexander was hurt with a quad gave them 2 TDs cuz he sucks at covering and we wonder why he hasn’t touched the field sense then, he honestly lost us that game before our kicker missed a kick in that game lol. And if I’m being honest if that eagles game was in Green Bay or Philly not Brazil on that slippery field I bet we would have won that too and wouldn’t have lost love, and he would be mvp front runner rn because he already leads league in TDs with missing those games after getting hurt🤦♂️ I mean I can deal with a guy throwing a pick or 2 a game if he can also throw for 4 tds in the same game, we’ll win that every time lol i think love is far more entertaining that Rodgers, Rodgers was far better but honestly his entertainment was different than watching love and this new group we have, I feel a Super Bowl this year or next year!
