I agree when is said that"you'll find it when you least expect it", because what this means is you will find when you're not attached in finding it. This applies to anything you want. Send the intention, and let it go. That's how you find whatever you want.

Thats so hard to do lol. I hate when people tell me that because then 3 years later its like "hey ive been doing my own thing... checking in... no... still no one?". feels like such a cop out and its so hard to believe when you let something go for awhile and then like peek in the box to look and... nothing lol. Its so horribly frustrating. No one has yet to explain how to rebound from the "you let go for a year and believed and look around a year later and realize your still alone lol. I'd like a "oh hey it hasn't shown up yet and you did everything and felt good and believed but its not here and now your upset , rebound class". I need that class wherever it is lol

Yea and when u think u found her she is not the one or not interested in you that way. Atleast for me it's been that way. And the process just goes on and on till your old and u die . Well sometimes u just to accept the fact that there is no one for you. Or settle for someone less than u had expected u had in your mind.

But the thing is - it can only happen and work of you possess the skills to live it. You might stumble into the "perfect partner", but what's the use of it of you don't have the knowledge, the skills and the experience to lead a stable, sustainable relationship amidst the storms of life? That requires work, so just waiting without preparation is not very wise in my eyes. It's like assuming you'll suddenly speak a foreign language once you happen to be in the respective country.

There was an amazing moment around 15 mins into this video when Jay complimented Lewis about creating a safe space. Lewis’s non-verbal response was profound as if Jay just confirmed success in an area he was working on. Watching that made my heart smile and made my day! LOVE LOVE LOVE❤❤❤

Finding love is not like finding keys or phones. Love is not an object. People find love whether they expect it or not. So there is no lies or misconceptions about human emotions and behaviors. There are just different ways. Each follow what work for them. You can not standardize how human being feel, act, behave or think.

This man Jay Shetty got wisdom for days. We need more young people watching this as our culture shifts.I love what Jay said about loving yourself. It is ok to question yourself but you should never tell yourself you aren’t lovable because it is very self destructive. I completely love this approach

I take the saying “you’ll find it when you least expect it” to mean that if you have intention in your life, have truly worked on yourself and have a sense of detachment you understand your value and worth that if it comes along then that’s great but if it doesn’t I’m happy too! Most people who find great love are emotionally intelligent who have put effort into understanding themselves first.

It takes effort to make yourself lovable and to feel you're worthy of love. If you have to go out looking for love then you come from a place of neediness. My wife of 26 years showed up on my doorstep, only effort was to open the door. Did a ton of work on myself beforehand, though

When I found the love of my life, I knew it as soon as I saw her.
I asked the universe for the love of my life, I've never been as popular with women as I was then, new women came into my life almost weekly, I didn't look at them as sexual beings, I didn't sleep with them I only became their friend. I knew in my heart that I was expecting to meet the love of my life, with a little patience she eventually came to my house, literally. My friend was visiting me and he asked me if his friend could come to visit,,, of course I said, shortly after she came but she had her friend with her, this friend of hers is my wife for nearly twenty years now, we have two beautiful children who are our pride and joy. So yes it is possible to attract love and happiness, it is possible to know when you have found the one and it can happen when you least expect it 😁

I have been listening to both of you for over 4 years and between many many gem interviews I found this one to be the most influential, teaching one. Show your lives so transparent and live and lead by examples. I'll be listening to it again because so many small detailed hidden gems are in this conversation what I probably have not caught for the first time. teared up around min 56 final question when Jay said our purpose and showing up for others are not measured by trophies but how deeply you helped others to love themselves. This is huge!!! I personally received it and have experienced once and that time I didn't know what my true joy was really originated from, that after decades first time I loved me, because He let me. I thought I was happy loving him but was the other way around. Great reminder. Thank you

WE need to LOVE OURSELVES to have authentic love. When we learn to respect, forgive and understand ourselves, we can truly extend that to others. Our connections become greater, our intentions grow stronger. Each day, work on loving your being, nurturing yourself, and love will come more evident. Not easier, just naturally. For those of us in recovery, or anyone who has lost someone, because we didn't love ourselves...PLEASE START the PRACTISE of LOVING YOURSELF.

I absolutely love this interview and both of you. I listen to you guys multiple times a week, have saved some very powerful podcasts to rewatch/listen to. I was not in the best place a year ago. I was stressed and depressed and tbh, lost. I was unhappy. So I discovered mel robbins first and continued to find amazing ppl like yourselves to help grow and dig deep into myself. It’s a journey but I feel stronger and more content with myself as a person. I am still in search of my ‘purpose’ but I know I want to help others (and I do!!) but in other ways too..thank you both for what you do. I rarely watch tv now…it’s all audio books and podcasts and that’s my direction.

Listing activities to do together actually allows you to get to centre dates around activities you're comfortable with so you'll get to know whether someone is patient, understanding or even generous. Because these are characters that can't be actualized unless in person. Engaging in activities you enjoy doing together is an important test to determine how someone behaves in the real world.

6:24 & 7:17 - this topic - is one of the most impactful truths one can learn and one of the greatest causes of human suffering! It's extremely common for people to respond with judgement & criticism toward others, causing them pain as well as damaging the relationship (if one exists). If only they were able to identify and accept their own mistakes, failures, and weaknesses, judgement & criticism would be replaced with compassion & forgiveness.

Love comes in so many forms as big as we can imagine, at some point I understood that some of us might not meet their half during this life time. Just because the society stresses the subject it doesn't make it dogma. The way we love is complex as our innerself gets complicated. I donn't think you can tech anyone how to love ecause you are not them, it is very individual and one should discover it on its own.

I can honestly say it took me 3months to fall in love with my baby boy. I cared for him, shared what’s best for him but love did come the first time I saw him apart from being grateful that I don’t have to be pregnant anymore and the baby is out 😝

Initially when we started out she showed signs of patience and compassion then as we further our involvement with one another she and I began to demonstrate we had so much inner work to do and when the hurtful words she used towards explains she was not truly loving herself as she describe to me bc when someone truly truly love themselves they will show deep compassion for the other so as she was demoralizing my self-worth it make sense she had work to do of cause this doesn't diminish the fact I also had work to do as well so thank you Lewis for having such an incredible extraordinary human love this thank you to Shetty for the magnificent tools and insight you share with the WORLD love the 4 stages on love I send happiness and hope for all watching this amazing interview I am a student of life learning about myself and others I will add as I continue the relationship I had I was doing some work and got distracted and began to go back to old patterns and so I will say not only the ex but I am added into that category of people who can further develop the skills to do better in the area of self love to then attract love

I have a very difficult time with placing responsibility for another person's feelings on anyone but that person. Yes, we should treat everyone with Loving Kindness, but we shouldn't "dim down" because someone else can't handle our light. I could contort myself in a million different ways in an effort to control another person's comfort level, and they still may never feel comfortable enough with themselves to feel comfortable with me. I guess what I'm trying to say is that nobody can "make" anyone feel anything. Believe me, I've tried.

To my point, love is divinely orchestrated I believe and all you have to do is open up to receive it and your energy will draw someone in. I'm not mad at you for saying what you believe, I feel you are consumed by ego and controlling a situation and I don't believe it works like that. Personally, I am repulsed by men who come on, I find it aggressive. It is NOT a lie that love finds you without chasing it.

I think the thing keeps people single is “where to find love” 😕
For example if you try to find from Tinder etc.,those guys looking for sex.If you are searching from gym etc.,same thing guys trying to pick best booty.
Its very hard to find someone you can get along with nowadays.Honestly I dont know where ?

I would love to see a discussion contrasting Jay's recommendation of needing to sleep with your partner as being the glue to a solid relationship to Dr. Matthew Walker's recommendation to get a "sleep divorce" (i.e. sleeping separately) to stay happy and healthy ever after. He (Walker) was recently on Tim Ferris suggesting this as it was found to result in better rest.

JAY / LEWIS - I have a very important question.
Oh yes... things we both, my ex and I should have followed! We drifted apart as my Ex said to me sometimes; I do what I want...
This Phrase came out after about 5 or 6 years of our marriage a few times, as i saw some things were done his way without my conscent, and asked why he did not discuss with me ! Is this a usual thing some men do? I was not able to give my opinion, or discuss on what i saw and heard.
    Jay... Appreciate your advice.
We are now divorced, however i don't want this kind of thing to happen again in my life when I'm in a relationship, and get married again!!
Thank you so much in advance 🙏
