At the end the Red Guy went back to a boring everyday job and then suddenly met the Yellow Guy's Father urging him to come back. The Red Guy instead decides to save Yellow Guy by shutting down the entire show. Now that they're all free from the control of Yellow Guy's Father, they are free to do whatever they want so Yellow Guy can become a Green Guy now since he's free to be Creative now.
