The Warning are not repetitive musically, they change up every verse and chorus. They have a unique way of structuring a song. So no matter what they are playing you know it's them, and it always rocks. Great reaction, thanks. ❤✌🤘⚡🔥
It is what they felt after they had spent so much time writing this song, Ugh! Literally.
The girls said that this was as close as they have come to playing a song perfectly. When editing the footage, dad turned to them with the comment "next level".
This song is part of the magnificent concept Album "Queen of the murder scene"...so, it's part of the story. Great Album, Great song. Their new Album drops tomorrow and they are performing on Jimmy Kimmel tonight.
Just to add, treat yourself to a physical copy of the album. It's got a beautiful inlay that enhances the story of the album - it kind of reminds me of Pink Floyd's "The Wall" in a way, though it's not derivative of that at all. The interior art is by Gretel Joffroy, presumably related to Rudy (wife, maybe?), it's arresting.
Not only the bassline superb but did you see the swagger by Ale as she meets Dany mid-stage near the end of the song? Git it gurl! Thanks for the reaction Red!
This was the song they had the hardest time writing and every time they worked in it, they would all go "UGH" as they had no desire to do so and that is how the song got the name. Great reaction and what a great song.
They named the song Ugh…I say hell yeah every time I listen to it! There’s hardly anything more rock and roll than Pau beating her drums into the middle of next week while rocking a skirt!⚡️👍🤘

This is the 3rd song on _Queen of the Murder Scene._ A girl has an unrequited love, and it is turning into a growing obsession. She is beginning to become afraid of it. She just wants it to be simple, but feels like she is sinking down into a trap. She doesn't know it at this point, and doesn't intend it, but there will soon be blood on her hands.
This is a highly underrated song. That bass line is amazing. The original.recording has a piano outro. I love this guitar and Bass outro. Great song expressing a young girls frustration and confusion over an unrequited love.

Watch the full Lunario 2018 concert. They play the complete concept album „Queen of the murder scene“. See 13-years-old Ale rocking, Dany getting more and more into the main character and Pau singing lead on different songs!
One story I’ve read, they had some difficulty finishing the song, but their dad encouraged them to keep going. When they finished, “UGH! Now we have to name it” Their dad said, “UGH sounds good.” As others have said, UGH is not what comes to mind when your hear this song! Red! You saw it too! I work as an illustrator and I do oil portraits. A scene of Ale in Martirio inspired me to do her portrait. But that scene of Dany you liked is what I’ve chosen for Dany. Alas, capturing Pau is harder. Choosing which one for her is the difficult part!

That might just be the best one I've heard yet. Love the guitar sound! They fit right in with the recent classic stuff you've done recently. Classic rock for a modern day. It's like they've gathered every band I liked from the 70's, 80's and 90's and some I didn't and morphed it into their own brilliant sound.
They definitely are inspiring other girl bands. The Sixsters (hint, hint 😂)are huge fans apparently.

Incredible song after incredible song...they are simply incredible song writers and they wrote this when they were teens! Here we are on the eve of the release of their next album and they've already written more incredible songs than most artists will in their lifetime...and Ale isn't even 20 yet. I suggest you react to the entire Lunario concert from years ago when they first played the entire Queen of the Murder Scene live. I really think you'll love it...though this may be the best live performance of Ugh ever captured...that live at Lunario concert is special. Historic, even. Great reaction!

Always enjoy your reactions! Great song! The Teatro Metropólitan CDMX performance is from 2022 but the song was released in 2018. Imagine 18, 16, and 13 year olds, probably younger when they wrote it, coming up with this!?!?!
I've seen them perform this song live twice and both times they rocked it. Their live shows are next level. We are seeing them twice this year in September in Nashville TN and October in Montreal CA with Evanescence and Halestorm. The new album "Keep Me Fed" drops tomorrow June 28, 2024. TWA will have watch parties tonight for the release. Thank you for your great reactions to a great band.

@@redheadedneighbor The show is at The Basement East on September 28th but it sold out in just a few hours. We got VIP meet and greet tickets by getting them the minute they went on sale. The Basement only holds a little under 600 people so we knew it would sell out fast. There may be some people selling their tickets online though. I would love to see you there, you would love seeing them in such an intimate venue. They play with the same intensity to 600 people as they would to 60, 000. The first time we saw them was at a small venue in Charlotte NC and they blew the roof off the place. They are one of the best live bands I have ever seen.

Yes, we are your friends. It's your channel, you pause when you need to - that's why it's called a reaction. Our girls (ladies now) have always worked very hard collaboratively at crafting each of their songs so that there's variety and subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) changes throughout that you may only consciously hear with careful and repeated listening, but make a difference in the impact the song has even if you don't understand why. It's intentionally working at your profession, and these ladies are consummate professionals.

Easily one of the best couplets they have ever written in my book, yes.
Hatd to believe, but this performance is a masterpiece. Nor only was the performance great, but they changed up the outro. The original album version of the song has s piano outro. The change to guitar and bass was made later and pwrformed magically at this event. I really reallyhope that they will release a CD/ DVD of this entire concert. The Warning really brought their A game for this entire concert. Not a ugh song in the entire 22 song set. Well except for UGH, and it was insanely good. I couldlisten to this song all day long. Ale and her bass was just out right aggressive. That last note, magical.
Girl, you gotta do the LUNARIO CDMX concert from prologue through the four chapters - where they featured the QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE concept album. UGH is one of the songs from the story and its lyrical context pertains to this masterpiece of a story.
Going on a QOTMS journey, one can truly appreciate the magic of the songs from this album. 🤘⚡️💙

God I love the way Pau attacks the kit on this song. “The rope I’m walking on gets tighter across this fire” meanwhile Pau is just beating the devil out of her drum set. This might be my favorite of QoTMS. (Until I play the next song😂)
Love your reaction. They are definitely inspiring younger musicians. Quinn (guitar/lead vocals for Freeze The Fall) was inspired to learn guitar, and then got one of hers signed by DPA. And please check out Broken Glass by Freeze The Fall; they're three high-schoolers from Canada who've been together for a couple of years, and have just released their first ep. There's a fair amount of overlap between TWA and Cold Front, and a pretty solid bet that you'll like them.

UGH. It is the sound three procrastinating teens make when told to do something they don't want to. They said they would make that sound when their dad reminded them that this track wasn't complete. This was one of the hardest songs for them while writing the concept album Queen Of The Murder Scene. It kind of worked out for them, because of the massive amounts of rewrites they did for this track, two other tracks on the album were morphed out of the rejects for this track...
sometimes it seems like it would take an octopus to cover the drums like Pau does. and yes, there are so many other drummers that are amazing but Pau is my favorite right behind Neil Peart of Rush.
Not surprising that she lists Neil among her biggest influences.
