So, you need to look up the original video they posted playing Enter Sandman in the basement 9 or 10 years ago. It shows you where it all started. Amazing!!
They were 9, 12, and 14 according to the comments in that video. For their ages, they were already fantastic. But I did have to chuckle a bit. Those guitars are nearly as big as they are, especially Ale’s. And Ale is so stoic. Look at her now.
Hi guys, I am 75 years old and have experienced all the 60's bands and listened through 70's, 80's 90's up to present day and can honestly say that I have never heard a band as good as the Warning, playing live at Teatro the were magnificent
The way The Warning build tension in a song reminds me of the way Quentin Tarantino builds tension in the scenes of a movie. Your always on the edge of your seat waiting for the chaos to begin. I love it! 🤘😝🤘
@@DaneBramageROCKS I think that the difference between The Warning's version and Metallica's original is that Metallica's is a face melter. The Warning will melt your brain and a good portion of your soul, as well.
This is the first song I ever heard from The Warning and I was hooked- 15 months later and I have seem them 4 times live with a 5th on the schedule. 🤘🤘🤘
They made the song even more sinister. It starts at soft rock, goes to rock, then hard rock, and finishes metal. It gets angrier and angrier and angrier as it goes along. Also, they did do it live once onstage with Alessia Cara at the Troubadour last May (I was there!!!).
@@DaneBramageROCKS Great that you're going to see them. These shows were announced without much lead time and I can't make any. Hoping they have some more when they get back from Europe.
The music video is superb. The live version just crushes it. I like the general heavier sound of the live version, the anger in Dany's recitation (James Hetfield sounds creepy, Pau was eerie on the music video, Dany at first sounded desperate, and she now sings it in an angry, challenging voice), and the fantastic harmonies in the buildup and the final Exit Light section. Hush little baby is a bit of an afterthought in the original, but The Warning have made it into a powerful buildup that climaxes in the majestic final chorus that prepares us for the coda. In live performance, Dany and Ale cross sides during the riff, so that Dany fans can see Ale close up and vice versa. On the way back, they give each other a quick high five. They know they nailed it.
Those delicate harmonies when the three of them are standing in doorways: In interviews the ladies have credited Allesia Cara for coming up with those. Phenomenal collaboration.
Alessia was the one who Metallica approached first, but since she is not really Rock or Metal she was concerned. She shares international representation with a group that also covers The Warning, so they suggested she reach out to them, since they are a Rock band and they had covered Enter Sandman early on in their career and gained viral attention for it. By the time Alessia contacted The Warning they had a week to do everything from soup to nuts. And since Metallica had said to do anything they wanted to the song, They reimagined it so that it suited both Alessia and The Warning. The result is, I think, a lot closer to Metallica's initial concept for the song as a lullaby, just a lot creepier in several ways. Last May at The Warning's second sold out show at Troubadour in LA as a headliner, Alessia joined them on stage to perform this song together for the first time live. There are some fan shot videos on UA-cam that document it pretty well. I think the present slightly rearranged version The Warning does live is a better, though. BTW, YES, the guitar she is playing on the live video from August at Teatro Metropolitan was a gift from Lzzy Hale given to Dany on stage in Irving, TX last summer. Lzzy had Gibson make several customization on it especially for Dany.
I do love the way TW plays it on their own with Alessia hitting the backing vocals, but I am thrilled to pieces this worked out the way it did! Thanks so much for the info.
The reason why the Alessia and the warning collaboration happened is because they are record label mates. Their record label put them together , but cool story bro
This was a fantastic opportunity for both Alessia and the Warning. This brought them a ton of attention across the globe. I am looking for sold out venues on their up coming European tour. Go ladies.
You might be the first reactor I've seen who didn't say "tit-tro" and actually say Metropolitan Theater...😀 Good reaction I personally like both versions equally....
Yes, that is Lzzy gift for her. The other voice is Alessia Cara as in the music video. You know, you should try go see them live now that they're going on tour in US late this month and most May. w/17 shows. Plush and HolyWars are the guests bands. Check the cities, you may be near one from where you live. Also, from all the reactors of TW out there, there must be only like 6-8 at most that have assisted to their show, and would be nice that more of you do that and share the experience. Everyone says they're amazing live and getting to know the warning army and hang out with them is another reason to go. Great reaction as always!.
Mission: Take a classic rock anthem and remake it as a masterpiece. Huge risk, massive success. I don’t think of the original now… now this is their song. Great double reaction.
The audio was done in March of 2021. It was done in one week to meet Metallica’s schedule with Alessia recorded remotely. The video was done in September 2021 at an abandoned textile mill south of Monterrey, Mexico. The live was done at the Teatro Metropolitan which is the one of the national Mexican venues equivalent to Carnegie Hall in the US. It seats 3000+. The crowd was so enthusiastic that they sang along with the band during the concert. In the live Alessia came in as a backing track.
Awesome!! Thanks for the info, I was wondering where the video was filmed. I am familiar with the Teatro, I have done a few reactions from that venue! As I think you know!!
The metropolitan is a good venue but saying playing there is the equivalent of playing in the Mexican Carnegie Hall is just not true. I’m a Mexico City native and I’ve been to that venue several times, and there are far more prestigious venues in Mexico City, but the warning hasn’t played in any of them as a headliner yet. This was a movie palace back in the 70’s, went out of business in 85, and sat unused for 10 years before someone had the idea of turning it into a rock venue. Like I said, good venue and really good performance, but there’s no need to exaggerate. I think the performance can stand on its own without the need for embellishments.
@DaneBramage- That IS the Gibson Explorer that Lzzy Hale had made especially for Dani. I'm surprised you haven't see any other live videos in the past 6 months...Dani has been using her Gibson for Sandman, Queen of the Murder Scene, and UGH on a regular basis...when their set list allows. And that voice you hear in the background on the live show is Alessia Cara's from the backing track the ladies have running. You can tell when Pau is harmonizing with Dani...the difference is very apparent. Just saying...🤘❤🤘
Don't be surprised, I am purposely not watching them so I can have a natural reaction without knowing what's coming. What I love about watching TW is seeing it develop right before my eyes, hence my excitement. Makes for better reactions.
They play Alessia Cara's backing track during their live shows, because they officially announce this track as Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara at their live shows.
I knew that these girls had a lot of potential, but once I listened to all 53 covers on the Blacklist album, their cover being by far the best, even though there were numerous established artists/bands on that album, it confirmed that they are indeed something extra special.
Most of those covers were just a straight up playthrough of the songs with a few instrumental embellishments! Nothing worth listening to more than once. The Warning's version, I can play over and over and get chills every time!
I absolutely appreciate your reviews. I feel like you get it. I hope to see them live next month and I know if I can I’m going to lose it. These women have turned rock on its head, and they are making music better.
It's really exciting to see you react to them. It is contagious. It's chilling to see all their emotion and animation. It's an amazing band of 3 super talented and passionate girls!
@@DaneBramageROCKS, congratulations! Your work is excellent! I now advise you to go back in time. Follow from the first Enter Sandman video, then The Pretender, XXI Century Blood, the TED TALK performances, Queen of the Murder Scene show at Lunario, etc...
Actually Enter Sandman by The Warning should be a 3 song review starting with their viral cover from 2014 to official version with Alessia to live performance at Metropolitan Theatre last August. That will highlight how much the sisters had evolved over a decade in their amazingly inspiring journey from basement to headlining concerts in Mexico City. I hope that at some favourable locations in their upcoming North American tour this summer they will record performances with professional lighting, audio mixing & videography.
The guitar Lzzy gifted to Dany is a Gibson "Explorer". Lzzy had the Gibson team build it for Dany with the same set up she has on her PRS and Lzzy's guitar tech got a set of strings from Dany's tech, so when Lzzy presented it to Dany on stage in Irving it was ready to go. Dany also uses the Explorer on the song "Queen of the Murder Scene" because that is the song they were going to play next when Lzzy came on stage. Actually Metallica initially invited Alessia to record a song for the Blacklist album, but Alessia had never done a rock/metal song and didn't even know a song from the Black album. Alessia and The Warning are featured artists with Chris Smith at 21 Entertainment Group in Toronto. It was Chris who suggest the collaboration of Alessia with The Warning, Metallica liked the idea and here it is.
I saw the clips from the guitar gifting and it's fantastic she did that. That's such a great story and I'm glad they were able to find their way into that album. Funny how things work out that way eh?! 🤘🏻⚡🤘🏻
@@DaneBramageROCKS It is all coming around for them. Muse is their all time fave band and now they have been invited to do 5 more shows with them in Europe this summer. Fun fact: Matt Bellamy of Muse is a part owner of Manson guitars and is having a Manson guitar built for Dany. I am anticipating he will present it to her some time during this summer as well. Dany has 2 other Manson guitars, though I think she sold one of them to a Patreon patron or a Kickstarter.
@@ZWQ945 oh snap! Ummm, yeah let's hope that video surfaces if he presents a guitar for her. Thanks so much for the info, learn more about them everyday!🤘🏻⚡🤘🏻
I enjoyed your reaction. Some of the backup harmonies are Alessia Cara on a backing track--remember this version of the song was a collaboration. Also, Pau sang the prominent high harmonies throughout the song. The camera just happened to be on Ale at one point-- the high harmonies continue after Ale is nowhere near her microphone. Ale sang low harmonies throughout the song.
Hey Dane! Yes, on the live version they do use a bit of Alessia Cara's vocal track on the mix. I have seen them to it live in person 3 times, and you get chills every time!! I love this performance! I especially love to see Ale having such a good time and smiling and mouthing the words as she plays with the audience! These two back-to-back soldout shows were as special to The Warning as they were to the crowd! At the end of the second night, they brought out the whole crew, guest musicians and their parents, and crowd went crazy!! Pau was so overwhelmed with emotion that she was crying into her "little" sister Ale's shoulder, then her mother's shoulder. I would have given anything to be at that those shows!! BUT, I am going to see them, VIP, Meet and Greet, in Atlanta in 5 weeks (for the 4th time in 12 months)!!! I cannot wait!! Dane, if they are anywhere near you, GO SEE THEM LIVE! You will never regret it!! Keep and eye on their schedule. They have not released live dates for after they go to Europe in June. I have a feeling they will doing more shows in North America after that! Rock On!!
I would have loved to see that venue as well. Such a wonderful story and yes, I got a couple presale tickets for Denver. No meet and greet at this one, but it is such a small venue I may get a chance to meet them. Just stoked to see them live.
@@DaneBramageROCKS You may get to meet Rudy (Their Manager) and Luis (Their Father) after the show. They hang out after at the bar, or outside sometimes. hahaha. You may be a chance to catch them near their tour vehicle, but they pretty much keep hidden before and after the shows. But, good luck!! They are are incredibly nice, gracious, charming, humble and funny young ladies! And it's not an act. They genuinely love their fans!
Pau often sings/mimes along with songs. You often see here sings parts of it (in cases she isn't supposed to be heard). The girls have said that Pau always sings and makes a lot of noise so they often have to turn her mic off. I think they mostly meant in the cave but I suspect it also happened in shows (at least in the past). She also often 'sings' her parts of her drum riffs if you look closely at her. And boy if she does sing, harmonies or lead: it is amazing. Also here. The clarity of her high harmonies whilst drumming...
@@DaneBramageROCKS There are videos where I swear you can see her saying "Pow" when she hits the crash cymbal LoL... Makes me laugh at the irony of the meaning behind the song Narcisista when she does stuff like that (because she's totally not a naricist, but those little things make you laugh).
@@don-music Yes, exactly! She mouths the drums actually a lot, and i've seen that many people don't notice, according to the comments. Ok...but my main point is that in this case she's singing/mouthing the LEAD GUITAR during those ohohohohoh -ohohoh's by Alessia. I've read comments that she's lip-synching but totally failing...gosh! And of course she also mouths the lyrics sometimes and what not...I think it's hard for her to hold back as she's so much into the music and the show. Additionally, she might have a condition: "worko-multi-tasking-holic", or even more severe: "worko-multi-tasking- hard-pounding-holic" maybe?
Like the British say, brilliant reaction. What would have been even better, is to have their 2014 cover, the cover that launched their careers, when they were 'Baby Warning," included in this reaction.
Yeah I think I'm gonna do a couple progression reactions as they have done a few live shots from years ago and see how they compare to where they are now.
When they Recorded this song Alessia Lives in Canada and The Warning in Mexico and they couldn't get together because of Covid so Alessia recorded her Part in Canada and The Warning in Mexico and David Bendeth the producer of the Error Album remixed the Song and they did this all in one week, the Same with The Video that's why they are not together in the Video, Last Year The Warning play a concert in LA at the Troubadour and Alessia finally Joined them on Stage to sing this Song there is a video of it on UA-cam
These sisters are overwhelmingly talented!! EPIC song ending in a supernova! They did all arrangements, recording and mixing in just one week. Awesome! Their live performances are beyond amazing! Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
*Correction Fun Facts:* Pau is the loud & high singer when the Warning harmonize. Ale (pronounced Alēēh for Alejandra - not Ale like in ole) sang the lower scale. Alessia *backup vocals which are mainly woohoo* are on a backing track. As well Pau's & Ale's backing vocals(when the Warning were standing in the three doors while Dany & Alessia were building the song back up in the music video.
Yeah I keep messing up her name, my brain blocks me from saying it for some reason. So, the name of my channel is more clever than I originally thought. Thanks for the info. 🤘🏻⚡🤘🏻
You’re right the Gibson Explorer (which is what Hetrick also plays) was the one gifted from Lzzy Hale. They still use some of Alessia’s “0h, oh, ohs” on a backing track. Enjoyed this double header reaction! Hope you get to see them live. 😎👍
when I 1st saw or heard their official video, we have same reaction man, Alessia was soulful but we all waiting for Dany . I love the live version more , it's angrier
Yep, thats the Gibson Explorer gifted to Dany by Lzzy Hale. James Hetfield also plays an Explorer. Dany was channeling her inner Hetfield when she started that first verse, lol.
How you was able to refrain from listening to the music video for a year is beyond me. That is a masterpiece, and a song TW will forever be remembered for. I like the Live Proshot video better, as that last minute is fricking amazeballs! The light show, the sound, their attitude as they charge that stage, feeling the environment around them, and blasting the crowd with it all... 🤯 Cheese n Crackers man... I just about fell over!
Yeah I like the live video better as well. It's hard because there are so many videos I want to see, but I don't want to ruin the surprise 🫢. So, I'm patient. There is a lot to cover. 🤘🏻⚡🤘🏻
@@oldmanyeni1663 It's incredible! I had to go and watch the pre-show footage for this, and see all the rigging and lighting being setup. Luis saying "Show is Next Level" and he wasn't kidding in the least. 🤘
Great reaction. Fun to listen with you to The Warning. I loved the official video from day one, but the live version not so much. It took them a while to hammer down the complexities of this version. Covering Alessia´s part, all those complex harmonies, the prayer ... But they finally achieved it. This is a monstrous live song. Danny is pushing more grit through her voice since they toured with Halestorm. These girls are always learning.
Thanks so much. The video is amazing and I love the live but I see how the changes reflect compacting each video. I love watching them just continue to crush it.
Same thing happened to me Juanjo, I liked the live performance but I thought I wasn’t even close to the studio version, but as you said, they’ve been improving it little by little to finally deliver THIS version… The best thing, I was there to experience it !
Hey Dane, greetings from Denmark. New subscriber here. Yes, there is a reason why Metallica put that song as nr. 1 on the Black Album. From pure cover (while tiny girls) to complete remake of "Enter Sandman" by TW and their fantastic live version(s)
I have said this to many reactors about this song. I will admit, I am not a Metallica fan, and I was sick of this song, until this version came along. A lullaby where Alessia very sweetly puts you to bed, then Dany rouses the troups, shares a little prayer, and the angel chorus comes to sing you to sleep, then Boom, the hammer drops. I think of this very much as the female version of the tale. So good. Delicate, powerful, soothing, strong, gentle, fierce-all at the same time.
SWEET!! Welcome to The Warning Army (TWA) - The further you dig, the more you will start to see how amazing they are, especially where they came from. Cheers.
Not many bands have the talent to reimagine a classic rock anthem successfully. In architecture we call it deconstruction. This endeavour by the girls is at par with Clapton reimagining Dylan's "Knocking on Heaven's Door".
Great idea to do both together. Looks like people have covered all the questions that came up, so I won’t repeat. I love everything about both versions. The covers they did when starting out were notable for how well they nailed the originals while still in their young teens. This version is the exact opposite. Notable for how masterfully and creatively they rearranged it without losing sight of the original. I don’t know how they do it every single time, but they do. Thanks.
I'm pretty sure it's Alessia's vocals most prominant on the backing track. If you pay close attention to the official video it shows her singing those.
Great reaction! This was one of the first songs I heard from them, I think it was the first suggested song after my very first time listening to them. I couldn't believe how good it was! Metallica had previously been my favorite band for over 30 years, and I wasn't even half way through that I already thought it was better than the original. Also shout out to Gary Sinise sitting on your shelf there, looking up at the video in approval I'm sure 🤣
Thanks so much! Yeah this version kills it doesn't it?! So glad I did this one and this was my first time hearing it. It gets hard to not listen to their music so I can do these videos with initial reactions. And Gary is my dude, love him! Also in a band! 🤘🏻
Simply a masterpiece - by far my favorite version ever of this iconic song! Those harmonies were incredible - goosebump time. Loved your reaction - thanks for continuing to explore these amazing young ladies - had to subscribe. And yes . . you said it. Seeing them live - you can't beat it!
As far as covers go, this has to be one of the best renditions I have ever heard. Probably the best actually. Thanks so much for the sub! More to come.
They have the IT factor. They literally attack the audiance. Great back story here they filmed the video at a burnt out factory near their house. It was full of bats and they started flying around. Dany said in an interview that it too a couple hours for them to become friends but then things went good after that. Then you talk about Dany's face. There is a good story about that too. When they did there first cover as youngsters, I saw an interview with Pau and Ale where they said they were really mad at Dany. For the 2 days before they filmed it they practiced hard while Dany just sat there practicing her angry James Hettfield face.
When this song was released a month back I had commented about confusions that the videography created by focussing on Ale at certain times. She had mainly surfed the lower range in this song; at times almost inaudible when Pau had come in with her vocals along with the backing track of Alessia. We can distinguish all 4 singers by their tonal textures. In 1st iteration of "Hush now baby..." Ale's low utterings are distinctly heard on right side under Dany's melody. 2nd Iteration - Pau comes in with her earthy raspiness staying mainly within Dany's powered up grit. Ale is still there but almost inaudible as Alessia's ethereal crooning is introduced subtly. 3rd iteration - Pau ramps up the power at a higher range and we need to really strain ourselves to hear Ale's voice here. Its barely there in the mixing. Thankfully in Disciple the video editing team focussed on singers relevant to the vocals heard.
You are correct that is the guitar she got from Lizzy. The Warning are incredible and you will find some really great music from them. They are getting to do some festivals in Europe this year so they have pretty much been touring non stop for the last 9 months or so. Another great band you should check out is Band-Maid from Japan I recommend their song Play live. They and The Warning follow each other and got to meet at AfterShock in Sacramento last year. Band-Maid is another all girl rock band that just kick ass. As for The Warning their backstory is just as incredible as they are. There's a video out there about it you should check it out
@@DaneBramageROCKS Here is a video that is a must watch for all of us who started following this great Rock Band. Hope to see a reaction on this one, all I can say about it is … “You have been warned “
Great reactions Dane. This girls are simply amazing, so we love them. Check the dates of North América tour 2023, I will attend México city october 28. Saludos desde México!🙂👍🏻🇲🇽
In the live version she’s playing Lzzy Hale’s Explorer, Lzzy gave her Gibsons Lzzy Hale edition Explorer when The Warning toured with Halestorm last year. It is Lzzy’s guitar. Lzzy did this because someone Lzzy admired when Halestorm was beginning gave her a guitar and said the same to Lzzy, some day pay it forward, Lzzy did it with Danny and her Explorer. So cool, I love Lzzy and Halestorm. Stay Cool 😎 and… \m/ Stay Metal \m/
Correct. If you watch the whole video, when I get to the live version, you see I point that out. It was given to her at the Texas concert when they opened for her. It also was not Lzzy Hales edition, same model, but Lzzy didn't want to give her the same edition because she wanted Dany to have her own, not a replica. I also posted the interview of Lzzy explaining the exchange in the video description.
@@DaneBramageROCKS sorry Dane, thanks for the correction, I thought it was Lzzy’s version, that’s so cool that she had Gibson make a model just for Danny. Lzzy and Halestorm are one of my favorite bands after I discovered her on of all places the TV show Bar Rescue. After I saw Halestorm on the show i went online and literally spent ALL night online watching and listening to Halestorm music. I was up until like 5 AM, lol. I’ve been a huge Halestorm fan since. About 5 or 6 years ago I was introduced to The Warning and was so impressed by their young talent I was an instant fan, you must checkout the title song from their XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood) album, it’s awesome. Before I go I just want to suggest another family band that I’m a big fan of. If you haven’t heard of Liliac you need to check them out, a 5 piece Rock/Metal family band originally from California now living in Georgia, I think. The singer Melody has a very unique voice, sort of reminds me of a combination of Lzzy Hale and Ronnie James Dio, she’s got an extremely powerful tenor voice, her biggest influence is RJD. The rest of Liliac are very talented, especially the older brother Sam on guitar, he’s a genuine shredder. Ok, I hope I haven’t bored you too much, lol, when it comes to music I’m very passionate. See you in the comments. Stay Cool 😎 and… \m/ Stay Metal \m/
@@johnstarace8369 Awesome! Yeah same guitar just all in white, but you were not totally wrong. It was such a neat gesture, a pay it forward, as you mentioned. I also love Halestorm and love how Lzzy inspires those around her. I have all the TW albums on vinyl, and yes, there XXI and QOTMS are incredible. Truly a talent that needs to be a headliner. Thanks so much for the suggestions, I will absolutely check out Liliac, I'm all about new discoveries. Cheers my friend.
Enter Sandman was the last song I heard them play live last June near Denver. Reason is that Dany got altitude sickness and they cut their show short. Dany finished the song on her knees on stage. True professionalism when you are ill but manage to complete the song. Can't wait to see them live again.
Late to the party here, but yes, they use some of Alessia's parts in a backing track. Yet another admirable thing about The Warning is their subtle and tasteful use of backing tracks. They could (and they do, sometimes) totally do their sets without any tracks but they use them to fill out their live performances and it's very well done. Also, Alessia joined them on stage for the second Troubadour show on the tour and it was super super fun. There's fan video out there, great to see. I was there! ;)
Hi there, Yeah I heard about that and It is awesome they are able to get her out there at times. They are amazing live and that is what establishes their talent even deeper!
@@DaneBramageROCKS I remember the song's original release, back in 1991. By 1993, I was so GD tired of hearing the song. It was great, but it was a bit over-hyped, at the same time. I mean- it was everywhere and was probably gaining part of it's popularity solely based on repeated exposure and not totally on the song's merits. Now, this version comes along and it is freaking amazing. It pulls you along with it, as the dream progresses. It riises and falls, building that anticipation, until finally satisfying us, in that final release. This version is oh so much more powerful, in my opinion. Amazing how The Warning can make you care about the music, again.
@@Scott_Diverscott I remember that whole album was "the hype" but yeah, it is what it is. This version gave it justice. Kind of how Five Finger Death Punch covered Gone Away. Didn't really get the song until that, same here. They crushed it.

"Enter Sandman" : Un gran viejo tema de rock ,renacido con un gran nuevo tema de rock ,solo TW es capas de lograr esto por algo son las maestras de la composicion ,tremendo tema
They play to a track on this and most of their songs. So it’s Cara’s voice you hear. Music purists like to criticize reliance on backing tracks but The Warning only use them to enhance the songs. Not replace the instrumentation or singing. If the computer went down, they would still sound fantastic.
I don't care if a band uses backing tracks, especially if it enhances the performance and TW isn't taking away anything they are doing. It's necessary because of Alessia not being physically present.
@@DaneBramageROCKS it’s not a criticism. It’s a critique. I played in a band for years with a backing track. But we played our own instruments and sang our own vocals. Just didn’t want to hire a keyboard player. Hahaha
Zoom collab during the pandemic, completed soup to nuts in a week. How? Such talent, and such a masterful reimagining of this classic Metallica tune. Deserves every one of the 500+ million views that the original Metallica vid has. I've decided you can't compare the two versions any more than you can compare a C8 Corvette to a '57 Belair. Both Chevies, but Metallica's version is a '57 Belair and The Warning's is a C8 Corvette.
You have to react to their famous Enter Sandman cover from 2014 when they were 9, 12 and 14 years old, this is the video that turn them into the warning, it 24 million views ... and they were already bad asses...
The studio version (therefore the whole arrangement they did) had to fit the voice and stile from Alessia Cara, a R&B and pop singer, so The song goes from a smoother start for Cara to make a transition to the The Warning’s part, then the homage to the riff in the end (but actually I feel it is even more powerful than the original one); for the live performances there’s no Alessia Cara, so now the begging is stronger, with the strong character and personality Danny has. And yes, at this moment she usually plays half their shows with the guitar Lizzy gave her. 👍🏽
Next live one for you, a few years back at LUNARIO, doing their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene, and the opening track Dust to Dust I describe as quintessentially The Warning, with lead vocals from PAU!
@@DaneBramageROCKS They seem to have matured as a live band, a lot less raw then they use to be, but they have always been passionate and engaging,. They are very talented individually, and as a trio I don't know of any other three piece that sound big, rock hard and compose great songs.
If you really want the entire back story, you need to watch the video that literally launched their careers. If I remember correctly, Lzzy was given a similar guitar by James Hetfield with the same request, to give a guitar to someone younger who inspired Lzzy.
@@nahadoth2087 I think Lzzy pointed out who it was in her interview, I can't remember either, but I think it was like, Joan Jett or some other female lead.
Thank you for validating my own feelings 😂 I think Alessia has plenty of talent, but my understanding is she is a pop singer. I just don't think her style matches this song. The live version, however, is exactly what I felt it should sound like. Dany's voice is suited to this, and they played it flawlessly. Much prefer they do it themselves.
The sisters harmony, sibling harmony always knocks it out of the park, it's been the way since music began, it's just how it is. Good review reaction.
Thank so much!
So, you need to look up the original video they posted playing Enter Sandman in the basement 9 or 10 years ago. It shows you where it all started. Amazing!!
That one I did see, it was awesome to see the difference and development in their vocals and skills. 🤘🏻⚡🤘🏻
They were 9, 12, and 14 according to the comments in that video. For their ages, they were already fantastic. But I did have to chuckle a bit. Those guitars are nearly as big as they are, especially Ale’s. And Ale is so stoic. Look at her now.

@@Scott_Diverscott agreed. When a band can cover and change a song that well, that is saying something.

Yes, I am pretty sure there is a backing track on this song, which complements the great live performance,
Sounds like it was Alessia who was on the backing track. Makes sense
They made the song even more sinister. It starts at soft rock, goes to rock, then hard rock, and finishes metal. It gets angrier and angrier and angrier as it goes along. Also, they did do it live once onstage with Alessia Cara at the Troubadour last May (I was there!!!).
You were! Dude that's awesome. Yeah I dig the progression through the song and I can not wait to see them next month m

Great reaction! Keep The Warning reactions coming! Thanks!
More to come! 🤘🏻⚡🤘🏻
I did as well. I dig the grunge and raw sound they gave. Superb performance
Those delicate harmonies when the three of them are standing in doorways: In interviews the ladies have credited Allesia Cara for coming up with those. Phenomenal collaboration.
I loved that part the best. That was a fantastic shot.
Which interview? I’d like to see that.
@@mt4design2 yo no la vi.
I think they each learned a lot from each other. Such a great result.
@@ronhall5395 All True! Awesome cover.

Bad ass! I saw that video of Lzzy gifting it a few times, I love it.
Mission: Take a classic rock anthem and remake it as a masterpiece. Huge risk, massive success. I don’t think of the original now… now this is their song. Great double reaction.
Thanks! Mission accomplished
Some nightmares are shocking and gory, but the scariest nightmares are creepy and spooky. The Warning NAILED this cover!🤘🏼

The Warning are masters of creating atmosphere through their medium. Only the best of the best can pull this off. They never fail to impress me.
Awesome, as they should!
I knew that these girls had a lot of potential, but once I listened to all 53 covers on the Blacklist album, their cover being by far the best, even though there were numerous established artists/bands on that album, it confirmed that they are indeed something extra special.
They absolutely had the best cover in that album. The videos expressed the sound and emotion and it was just all fantastic.
Most of those covers were just a straight up playthrough of the songs with a few instrumental embellishments! Nothing worth listening to more than once. The Warning's version, I can play over and over and get chills every time!

Yeah, I think I am going to do a "Then and Now" series with them with a few songs they have sung over the past 5-10 years.

Got it! That's why I was confused but noticed the backing tracks. Awesome they are using Alessia.

Yeah the sound tech must be busy because I cannot imagine drumming and playing without making sounds accidentally, it's a workout.

Hey Dane, greetings from Denmark. New subscriber here. Yes, there is a reason why Metallica put that song as nr. 1 on the Black Album. From pure cover (while tiny girls) to complete remake of "Enter Sandman" by TW and their fantastic live version(s)
Greeting! Thanks for the sub!! Yeah I mean, to me that song is #1 on the entire album!
Great description of that version! Love it. 🤘🏻⚡🤘🏻
They are my new favorite band.
Yeah, it is true, there are few who cover a song and do it better, or at least make a statement. They crushed this one!
Thanks.
I don't know either, and how fast they got that recorded and published but dang, it was done and done beautifully.

It is indeed there! LOL, that is a great story and I am drawn in by Dani's expressions. No matter what song she sings!
The backup vocals are Allisia on a backing track.
Great reaction. Thanks again
Thanks so much. Absolutely welcome, love doing this.
Yeah their team is incredible and it is AWESOME to hear the different iterations. I am all for the live!
There's a video out there about it you should check it out

de nada. espero que hayan entendido

I was up until like
5 AM, lol.
Stay Cool 😎 and…

Oh snap. Good for her but bummer. I see a lot of bands get taken down because of the altitude.

It's as if they exorcize the ghosts from the place and finally set the song free from 30 years of stagnation.
Lol. I mean how many times has this song been covered? Not until Alessia and TW has it been given justice.
@@DaneBramageROCKS My favorite FFDP cover was 'Bad Company'. LOL
@@Scott_Diverscott I mean, they are one of the better bands out there at doing covers. I feel every cover they do, they do it better.
Hi Dane. I'm a new subscriber. I discovered The Warning via UA-cam a few years ago and I've never looked back. They're definitely my favorite band. Your reactions are great; it's clear your enthusiasm really shows through. Hey, in The Warning's spring/summer tour this year, they've selected Plush as their opening act. Plush is four young ladies from the northeastern US who are SUPERB and really rock out. I predict you'll love them. Try their song "Will Not Win" at: ua-cam.com/video/YOCU5IcDbxQ/v-deo.html . Keep up the good work!!
Thanks for the sub and comment! I appreciate it and yes, I react true to heart. I am going to see them live in Denver next month and I am also familiar (ish) with Plush. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out! 🤘🏻⚡🤘🏻
Dude! I love how much you love these women! They are so talented and kick so much ass! Seeing them at the end of the month in San Diego!!!
I love how much I love them as well!! I see them in about 4 weeks! I'm stoked. Have fun
@@DaneBramageROCKS They must get a kick out of all us old guys rocking out at their shows.

"Enter Sandman" : Un gran viejo tema de rock ,renacido con un gran nuevo tema de rock ,solo TW es capas de lograr esto por algo son las maestras de la composicion ,tremendo tema
Esta es una portada maravillosa que hizo TW. Me encanta y creo que lo hicieron mejor.
That is Lzzy’s Gibson Explorer
Would love to see your reaction to the girls official music video of Evolve, Pau is insane on the drums in this video.
That one is on the list! More to come.
Hahaha
@@jjohn464 right, I was commending them for using Alessia. It was because of her this was all possible. I support your comment!
Haunting...
The good old metropolitan theater theater.
DaneBramage 👈🏻
Sorry- That was Alessia Cara's voice doing the background in both the official video and the live version- not Pau.
Yeah I cleared that up. It was hard to tell but awesome to know! No need to be sorry, I appreciate the info. 🤘🏻⚡🤘🏻
Fantastic description of the songs! But yeah, they did amazing and each in its own right is incredible.
That harmony was a backing track of Alessia Cara.
It was, thank you.
You have to react to their famous Enter Sandman cover from 2014 when they were 9, 12 and 14 years old, this is the video that turn them into the warning, it 24 million views ... and they were already bad asses...
Yup, its about to go live here in about an hour!
Yeah I believe they use her in the backing tracks when live. Some of the parts! I just love this remake all together.
Next live one for you, a few years back at LUNARIO, doing their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene, and the opening track Dust to Dust I describe as quintessentially The Warning, with lead vocals from PAU!
I think Dust to Dust is my next one. I am hoping TW releases that song from the Teatro soon. Would love to do a comparison.
@@DaneBramageROCKS They seem to have matured as a live band, a lot less raw then they use to be, but they have always been passionate and engaging,. They are very talented individually, and as a trio I don't know of any other three piece that sound big, rock hard and compose great songs.
@@akasetkya6253 I mean yeah they have matured a ton and that just says a lot to what they are developing today.
The Dany´s guittar at the live performance was a gift from Lizzy Hale.
My bad, i didn´t see the full video before give my comment hehehe
I was about to say!! LOL. Good catch.
If you really want the entire back story, you need to watch the video that literally launched their careers. I'm talking about their first cover of Enter Sandman from 2014 that went viral and caught the attention of Metallica themselves. It is a backing track of Alessia Cara.
Yeah, glad they do that.

Nice! Thanks.
If I remember correctly, Lzzy was given a similar guitar by James Hetfield with the same request, to give a guitar to someone younger who inspired Lzzy.
Yeah and Lzzy asked for them to also pay it forward. ua-cam.com/video/51dbA0sstSk/v-deo.html
@@nahadoth2087 I think Lzzy pointed out who it was in her interview, I can't remember either, but I think it was like, Joan Jett or some other female lead.
@@DaneBramageROCKS it was Jasin Todd, former guitarist
from Shinedown in 2005.
the person that gave Lzzy the guitar was Jason Todd from Shinedown in 2006
@@mjc1389 oh snap! That's bad ass. Also another of my favorite bands!

Yeah I saw that!! Fantastic work by the team

This is why she asked The Warning to step in
COVID kept them from recording together.👍♥️🤘
Yeah that is what have been hearing! At least they pulled it off, and all in a weeks time.
