I don’t know how I never came across this channel, but this is definitely in the top three fish rooms I’ve ever seen. The whole set up of the room is phenomenal and this dude is in it for the love of the hobby, I hope others watch and get inspired to start their own room even if it just starts with a 10 gallon Guppy tank! 👍👍👍👍
U have many fish I’ve never seen in anyone else’s fish room n that’s what makes this channel cool!! Of course I haven’t seen every fish room on UA-cam, but the ones I have I’ve never seen many of what u have. If u keep this trend I believe this channel will do very well!! I mean u don’t have to stick solely to fish no one else has bcuz there are so many amazing fish species but daring to be different can be such a refreshing view for many fish lovers around the UA-cam world #subbed
I believe that this fish room is the best on UA-cam by far and im not a big African chiclid guy. Ever since I came across your channel back when you were building the 200 gallon cube tank if have no other fish room that comes close. Lots of very nice ones but not this level.
I’m in amazement over this. Incredible fish room and your love of the hobby shines through! This must be a full time job. The number of subs is bound to increase! Thank you.
Love the starry night ive just got mine to pair up,ive done the same as you and have a few pairs to see who like who lol.Love all the tanks very well setup.
interesting aquariums , i liked the 300 gallons ( 9:38) stand, it s a little different from others i saw, maybe you could explain about it someday for us how to built
Love finding people who can use scientific names correctly!! Great fish room tour! What will you do when the mangroves outgrow the space you’ve set up? I’m a horticulturist by trade and have my own fish breeding business in Australia & I’ve never seen mangroves grown inside like this! Now I want to do it too. Thank you so much 😊
Thank you! And for the mangroves, I'll move them into bigger tanks with time. I've also seen people keep them manageable for a while via pruning. But eventually, yes they'll get big and I'll have to figure something out.
Amazing fish room. Those albino threadfin acaras are beautiful. I think those buccos are juvenile nototaenia tho. Rhodessi yellow have a more elongated body and head and they also get much much bigger as adults.
Doing both glass and acrylic, now that’s a multiverse I’m interested in! Maybe a future video on the acrylic bonding process and the way it differs from sealing glass.
Wow. I love your videos. Absolutely stunning! What kind of rocks are in the 200 cube tank? I've been in the hobby for decades. I have never seen such beautiful and well scaped tanks. Fish are amazing too! Wow wow wow
Hello I am just trying my Fish Room going, I have 2 75gal and 2 40 gallon tanks. I really liked how you made your stands so you could stack them. Hope did you make those stands?
i could imagine the 285 gal tank with some rare plecos and some really good Pinoy angelfish, maybe a few L152 or L95 would fit in perfectly with the sand
Great fish room. Would love to hear more about your experience with the mangroves. I've got two red mangrove which I'm planning to add to a freshwater 125 gallon (dirted substrate), but nervous about reports of their roots growing through silicone.. how fast are yours growing, and are you doing anything special to protect the tank?
Great question and might be a good video someday. Short answer is I put them in an acrylic tank for that very reason. No silicone seams for the roots to penetrate. But they grow very slowly.
So beautiful! Definitely should be proud ❤ Hey can you please tell me the type of driftwood you have in the pinstripe Damas tank? Please and thank you 🙏
Yes, most of them! There is one species I do not have currently which is very aggressive. The P. nourissati. That is the only one I'd be hesitant with.
@@aaraadhyaandaakayaataYep! They can all go in the same tank, with the possible exception being the nourissati. Also, keep in mind they get big so it'd need a big tank. :)
You are the only person I have ever seen that has the blue variation of the yellow labs. I have been looking for that fish on and off for years. Any chance I could talk you into selling and shipping me a few of them??
Captive bred specimens. But also, they don't have much home left in the wild. Unfortunately, keeping them in tanks might be the only way to continue them.
For some reason 🥴 , I could have sworn you were going to be moving to a different place ❔ Tanks are looking darn good , and those Bala sharks are beautiful but it is unbelievable that the majority of fish shop's are still keeping them readily available 🫣

Great video idea for the future!
Awesome tanks! I’m curious what you use for filtration on them? Sumps? Canisters?
My bigger tanks use canisters (though some I wish I did sumps), smaller tanks are a combination of HOBs and sponges.
Amazing tanks, thanks for sharing! 😮

Thank you so much! And the rocks in the 200 are actually the cheap rocks you see used in retention ponds and such. I think they're man-made.
Oh. Ok thanks. They don't look cheap! Lol. Very nice!
Great video 😊 Detroit
So glad you enjoyed it!

@@jacksonsparrow8865 yep! Maybe someday. But for now I'm very happy with the freshwater tanks.
Nice tanks man super clean😎
So how often do you do your feedings and tank maintenance.
Thanks! I feed twice a day, usually. Tank maintenance is about every 2 weeks for each tank.
Where did you find your Mamelela Lemon jakes? This is the best fish room on UA-cam no question. I have no words simply amazing.
Thank you! My Jakes came from a club auction, but for great fish from retail sellers I always recommend Dave's Rare Aquarium Fish.
Outstanding. Really great tour of your fish room. What city are you in?
@@jmaquascaping thank you! I'm in Indiana.
would you say that the STANDARD 125 gal aquarium is quite common in this hobby ?
I wouldn't quite call it common, but it's readily available for most people who want one.
So beautiful! Definitely should be proud ❤
Hey can you please tell me the type of driftwood you have in the pinstripe Damas tank? Please and thank you 🙏
Thank you! And the wood is large Manzanita. Bought from a booth at an Aquashella convention.

Where do you source your glass? For these builds!?
A lot of my glass came from Glass Cages in Tennessee. They sell cut glass as well as full tanks. Best glass prices anywhere, but shipping is a lot.
You are the only person I have ever seen that has the blue variation of the yellow labs. I have been looking for that fish on and off for years. Any chance I could talk you into selling and shipping me a few of them??

With the critically endangered fish- how did you get them. Shouldn’t they go back to the wild?
Captive bred specimens. But also, they don't have much home left in the wild. Unfortunately, keeping them in tanks might be the only way to continue them.
Are you using real or imitation rock
All the rock is real. And very heavy! :)
Now this is a fish room💦💦💦
