Why. Cadillac don't make cars like that anymore. A Cadillac DeVille is a car name that belongs to the land yacht class of motoring. An interior that envelopes you in velour or leather. Wide seats that you sink so comfortably into. A car that required you to put the least amount of effort into driving. A suspension that lied to you about the roads you drove on. You ride down the road and you are undisturbed by close to all possible manner of deficiencies in the road. Interior space galore. Cadillac's modern sedans don't have any of those qualities. None of their cars deserve the DeVile name.
Beautiful exterior. Old man interior. I just got finished watching the (pov) k900 review. And it's like night and day with these 2. The digital display and technology in that new kia is ridiculous. Theres no comparison.
For all the comments I see knocking the interior remember this is a completely base model and a bad color combo. Stepping up to premium luxury gives a full LCD instrument cluster. Wood trim on the dashboard and steering wheel. 34 speaker Bose panaray system with metal speaker covers throughout the interior, more options like cooled seats and a cooled steering wheel which means more buttons, and much better color combos than this to include all black and all tan. This is a terrible example of a CT6 and makes the car look much cheaper than the average one driving around.
Interior is miles away from luxury. Mazda is not even in luxury market but the interior of Mazdas would give a kick in a butt of Cadi. U can tell the ppl who r in charge of interior are a lazy group of ppl on a payroll. Would've fired them on a spot for delivering below mediocre design and quality.
When people point out that my CT6's interior looks like plastic, vinyl and wood trim that looks too dark and shiny, I remind them that it's what makes the car more affordable and much less expensive than its foreign competitors. It's a basic GM interior, plain and simple.
Arman 80 you lost me at quality! Cadillac uses fine materials for their interiors and the quality is good. Real woods, carbon fibers, aluminum, the whole nine. Interior design definitely needs to be taken to the next level but there’s nothing wrong with the quality of these interiors.
have a 16 premium and the interior is a bit nicer than this luxury version.....I can tell you one thing 3 years and 35000 miles on clock, and no issues and the front seat are getting more comfortable with the miles
Need to take that interior more upscale....I see way too much hard plastic What are they trying to compete with?...Mercedes E class and BMW 5 series both have higher end interiors
It doesn't look right. I'm a big Cadillac fan and they need to understand that some features/designs cues dont work for every car. You can't cookie cut. ALSO why show the new ct6 and ct5 now ? Now not wait till the auto show and build hype towards. Make people WANT to look at a Cadillac. God damn there stupid over at GM #GM #Cadillac
Compare to A6, 5 series, E class, G90, K900, GS, and many more in this class. This car interior is bland and with too much plastic. Good try GM but you'll need more to keep in car competitive.
I know that Cadillac makes a nice luxury car and that they've come a long way from their dog days in the 1970's thru 1990's but they have this impulse to add really odd styling cues that are a turn-off to a lot of people, myself included. The weird L-shaped headlamps on this model are a good example of what I'm talking about. They look like what designers come up with when they are desperate to grab attention but too clueless to know what works and what just looks odd and goofy.
@@rueben44 Clearly, you have never owned a BMW or Benz, AWFUL reliability. AWFUL resale. NEVER own a German car past the expiration of the warranty. As for Hondas... Dear Cadillac please don't kill off the ct6
they won't, production will continue
Now that gas prices are going up almost $5.00 a gal on the west coast. People are going to gravitate back to sedans..
@@benz2010e320 haha. SUVs are more efficient than they used to be. So maybe???

Stunning.
Beautiful vehicle.
I saw this in Black in Twin Turbo...totally bad ass!
That is a beautiful car, and it's my favorite color
It sure is, Jay!
So Beautiful .... I am 58 years old but they don't see me I am to old
.. I love this car more than any car made
They really should be a DeVille
Nile Worthy the ct6 is the fleetwood, the xts is the Deville
Seriously considering one of these
I like that cut type of look
Does this come with a car alarm
looks great!!
We agree!
How was the pick up ( acceleration), handling, ride quality, did it have magnetic ride control, braking ability, 0-60, dude come on....
It's a great ride! This is meant to be a hands-on review. You can find numbers for specific things, like 0-60, from Cadillac!
Beautiful. I may get one.
Saw the CT6 in person. Beautiful on the outside but very dull and basic in the inside. The Kia K900 has a nicer interior FFS!!
Or they should bring Cadillac DeVille name back

Caddy needs to hire the interior designers from MB or Audi to redo the interiors of all their vehicles.
Loved the exterior design! But then, the interior looks really disappointing.
