My brother passed away recently in a tragic way and about two years prior he requested that we play this song at his funeral if anything ever happened to him. We played the whole track with a slide show while it was playing, I stared at him in awe because of how peaceful he looked. He looked like he was just chillin. In musical bliss with his eyes closed...and all my anger, hurt, fear and heartache just melted away. I too was at peace while this song played. So now, this song will forever have a special place in my heart. RIP Jr. I’ll see you again someday.

With Hotline Miami, this song just ties the entire feel of the game all together.

While people that have played Hotline see it as the theme to a drug fueled slaughter, bathing in blood, and slashing people left and right?

    2019 of October,
I was on deployment to Aden Gulf for anti piracy mission.
On the back of the flight deck, wavering seas, and the sight of never ending horizon of blue.

I remember the times while I was at university, smoking all day, probably listening to this everyday, getting out the room to go and buy some cookies, try to cook something Indian in the evening but failing. Going to class the next day all gentle and calm because your smoking buddies were there as well. Meet up that evening, watch something on my big old grey TV with a small antenna on it. Not knowing anything about time. Feeling endless possibilities but being ok with just doing nothing at all and zone out right there and then in your couch.

    Fun, fast paced gameplay.
A story that leaves you asking "what'll happen next?"
And bloody gory imagery that makes you take a step back

I played hotline miami a few days before a horrible family problem started, some minor problems had already happened before, thanks to one of them my brother left, the aforementioned problem took a month to solve, my mother, my sister and I left. We went, I came back without my sister.
I knew that eventually they would have to go make their own lives, but at least I would have the opportunity to say goodbye, which never happened, this song reminds me of everything that happened and how much I miss my brothers, it reminds me of all the good times I spent together to them before everything, and to this day, the wound is still present

I feel gutted. Sometimes it hurts so much I think I'm gonna puke. Sometimes I just cry. I feel like something has been taken from me. Think about the death that took my loved ones. Think about that happier times that seems happy just because the time that passed. Maybe I am just in delusional spiral, mixing up my life with Hotline Miami. I want this song on my funeral. I don't think I could have chosen a better title screen theme than this for a game like _Hotline Miami._ It perfectly suits the hazy, delirious atmosphere of the story and the subtropical heat of the game's setting. Every time it comes on you just feel like it's 108 degrees in the room and you've been awake for three days because you're binging on coke.
