Researching my ancestry this year I discovered I am a decendant of Philip Delano who arrived in the Colonies on the Fortune. I was not able to find out more details regarding his parents etc, so I'm very excited to find this. Thank you!
You're very welcome. There was a Delano Tour in September to the 8 places where it is known that Philip Delano's ancestors lived in Flanders, England and Holland. George English
I just found out that I am a descendant of Francis Cooke and Hester Maheiu. I have found their records confusing, and your presentation here cleared up their movements for me. this was extremely helpful. Thank you!
Hello That's good - and a large part of the reason that I wrote 'The Delano and Cooke Ancestors'! It's such a fascinating story, partly because it's so different from all the English Pilgrims, as those who came on the European Tour last September discovered. On page 60, I write "Almost every article has contained errors or omissions, some still unchallenged or uncorrected, more than a century later!" George
Francis Cooke's wife, other children and oldest daughter arrived on the ship Anne 1622 with Experience Mitchell whom she married. I traced my maternal side back to Experience Mitchell and Jane Cooke.
Francois Cooke may have been born in France. John Cooke arrived at Plymouth on the Mayflower with his father. Hester and children arrived 1622 on the ship Anne.

Got to do the standard proofs but we may be cousins!
