Yeah. If it hit any organ, it'd be the liver. Which objectively, is MUCH worse than a kidney. Getting ***FWAP!***ed in the liver will make your brain go "Fuck this!" and turn your knees to noodles.
Geralt shouts at Dandelion sometimes, because he can be annoying, but would never hit his friend. Books and games is real witcher, Netflix very often not that much.
@@robertmacdonald5496 solar plexus is right under your sternum. This strike was too low. Just a straight up gut punch and most likely knocked the wind out of him.
@@starlightequestrian6729 Nah, the solar plexus is a larger more complex cluster of nerves than you're thinking. It radiates further out from under the sternum, and you can excite the solar plexus by striking the pit of the stomach.
@@robertmacdonald5496I didn't say it didn't aggravate the solar plexus, just said that isn't exactly where it is located. Plexus' are where 2 nerve clusters overlap. These clusters obviously branch out, so a strike along those branches can affect a plexus, but a direct strike to the exact point is much more painful. The solar plexus has nerves that span the whole abdomen, but the point where the most damage is done is right below the ribcage. The blow was so near the pelvis as to almost be groin. My guess is that in combination to aggravating the solar plexus, the pudendal nerve (the nerve that goes from the groin to the back of the pelvis) was also aggravated. Still an equally mean blow.

You know, given how strong Geralt is, and how physically lacking Jaskier must be, I’m surprised he didn’t vomit out his insides after that punch.
Agreeing with Davis, I doubt Geralt was trying to do serious injury, just rough him up a bit in an attempt to get Jaskier to leave him alone.
