WE LIVE FULL-TIME IN OUR RV:
We purchased our RV on November 18th, 2017 (Ninette’s Birthday) and started full-time RV Living on January 12, 2018. We have not regretted the decision to sell everything and move into an RV. We love the lifestyle and the people and places we get to visit.

Good to find out the right anchor points for the clam!
It has made a world of difference. It is unfortunate that they had a bad link in their instruction book for so long. But the link they have now works good and we love the CLAM. Thanks for watching.
Never thought I would want to see a mans clam so bad but here we are
Thanks for watching. Funny, I hope it answered some questions for you.
David, thank you for the tip.
Thanks for watching Don. These things are pretty nice.
@@TignerAdventures David, yes I have the same one in brown.
Thanks for the info. Never thought about it wasn't made to be up for a long period of time. Going to pass this on to a RV friend that uses the clam all the time.
Thanks for watching LeAnn. When are you leaving Yuma?
@@TignerAdventures we are in Oklahoma . We are helping my son on his ranch. Helping with calving. 6 new calves so far !!! Expecting at least 300 new calves.
May 2024.
My parents wintered in Yuma for many years (from SW Ontario, Canada). They started by boondocking at one of the BLMs and graduated to a trailer park called Capri (I think). I used to go down for two weeks in mid-February. My arthritis thought it had died and gone to heaven. 😂
My parents are gone now, and it's been many years since I have gone down there.
A strange thing happened a couple of months ago. I've been homeless for almost five years now and have been saving my pension to be able to get my own apartment again. I worked for 52 years, and my pension is quite good. Unfortunately, it's too good to get into any subsidized housing but not good enough to afford a "real" apartment. Out of the blue one day, one of the girls said, "What about a vacation?"
After some thinking, I decided it was a great idea! And that's what I'm going to do! I turned 70 this month and am somewhat disabled (cane and walker), so am not sure how to do the traveling part. Not as brave as I used to be. Wanted to go where they spoke English as their first language and somewhere where I would be comfortable.
I've decided to go back to Yuma. Don't know if I'll drive or fly down and rent a vehicle for when I'm there.
Would love to travel in a beast as lovely as yours in the picture (way out of my price range, though).
Reading your comment about Yuma started off this long missive, so thanks for reading.
Cathy
Thanks for watching Cathy and I hope you get that vacation. A lot of Canadians do come down as the weather is much better in the Winter. Look us up when you are there. We will be there from Nov to Mar in the Winter. By the way we love Canada in the Summer and have lots of friends there.
Love the big Pavilion Clams! And I'm going to make a floor for my Clam also. With Velcro. Safe travels! Hope to see you along the way!!🤗🌵❤️
Thanks for watching Jim. We still need to get together.
@@TignerAdventures I'm in Quartzsite until end of month then headed to Phoenix, Albuquerque and Oklahoma City before turning north...
Thank you' That was so much great and helpful information! Im getting the feeling this companies product was a lot more popular than they were expecting? ...and their trying to keep up, and solve problems' at the same time!, Thanks again, Blessings always to you both🕊️and kitty😶🖖
They are popular and definitely well made. Customer support has been great to work with. What more can you ask from a company. We love ours. Thanks for watching. Tanzi says hi. :)
Great video! Ouch on the finger!
Thanks for watching Dennis. Yep it is feeling better everyday but I'm sure the nail is going to come off at some point. Wrench slipped off a nut. Been a while since that has happened.
I really want to get one of these but I am in Quartzite and probably going to be in mostly hard ground areas for awhile and it can be pretty windy around here also
I wander how good those sand bags would work? Do you have any ideas
Thanks for watching. I use the 1 foot nails as my stakes. I tie each of the side pannels down to the ground from the part that pops out nice and tight. My clam has anckor points on the bottom but the new clams don't all have these ankor points anymore. My neighbor has the new clam and it seems to work fine. I have not looked at the other ones out there that are cheaper so I'm not sure how they can be ankored down. If I were you I would buy it from Amazon if you want to buy Clam and buy the insurance so that if it does have issues you can return it. I didn't do that and wish I would have. Hope that helps.
Leave an Extra 10 in around/15ft 2inx19ft 6in harbor freight
Thanks for watching Candace. That worked out pretty good. Thanks.
Does your clam have the tritech mesh used now by gazelle?
Thanks for watching. Yes it does which is nice to keep the no seeums out.
What happened to your hand? It looks like you smashed your middle finger.
You both look really happy. Thx for sharing your adventure. Safe travels and have fun!
Thanks for watching Mark. Yep. I was dropping a fuel tank to replace a fuel pump for a friend and the wrench slipped. Haven't done that for a while. We are happy living the good life.
Is it waterproof? Thank you
Thanks for watching. Yes it is just like any other tent. It will keep water out but needs to be resealed from time to time.
What did you do for your door
Well we just let it go up the same way as the sides. Just have to remember to step over it.
@@TignerAdventures sorry no I have the old version I bought extra panels w/wout windows but cannot figure how to attach a panel as a door cover. Was going to but tarp zippers and just Velcro the top and match up the net zipper
Going to see if I can make canvas "walls to add under the walls to add insulation for the fall. I added foam puzzle to the floor
@@candaceharewood16Awww Candace I understand the problem. I have only seen extra panels used on the sides, not the door. The unit I have the door panel acts the same as the others but it has a zipper down the middle so that you can use the door. That may be something you could do to one of the other panels that would make it work. Let me know what you figure out.
@@candaceharewood16 The puzzle idea is a great floor. We have a propane fire that we place in there in the winter and you have to keep it on low and have the windows open because it gets so hot. I don't think the add on panels have windows so that may be tricky. Always concerned about burning anything in a tent. The Canvas is a good idea.
