I bought a 14x7 special order cargo trailer with 5 30x15 windows and built the inside to look like a log cabin and it came out great . I put money into it. I was at a camp ground and the people next to me had a RV that probably was worth well over 600,000 and they wanted to look inside my place. The guy said I should sell plans for it. That made me feel good about what I had. I have about 14000 in my camper.

I'm a huge fan of Marathon coaches and have been bugging them about going Lithium and all I hear from them is silence. Liberty coach with the VOLTA 58v system has just won in my opinion...Sorry Marathon, Liberty just stole my heart. Great interview buddy, keep em coming!

JohninTucson Yes. The only thing missing is a steerable tag axle. Wonder when Prevost will get into the 20th century. That dash was amazing. One other thing that Marathon doesn’t do as well as the lithium batteries. One can only dream.

@@stano5102 Prevost is a commercial vehicle, not a toy. MCI tried a steer tag about 20 years ago. Did not work for a passenger coach.

Rich Myer I understand that it’s primary function is commercial. With all the busses operating in metropolitan areas why wouldn’t they adapt their frames to allow for tighter turns especially where they predominantly operate. Just behind the times in my opinion. Much improved technology in 20 years. If Newell can do it so can Prevost.

Interesting marketing approach, Frank spent over 8 minutes of a 14 minute video talking and not showing the coach. Its like watching a football game and getting 3 quarters of the announcing talking in the booth and only showing the 4th quarter of the actual game. Start the video showing the coach while you talk in the background, you are not the bride at the wedding. Amazing quality and design.

When I'm overseas most RVs are called caravans and they have embraced lithium ion and solar a long time ago as standard as well as continuous hot water that also heats the unit. In the states manufacturers don't seem to get that people love to boondock. They didn't buy a rig so they could pay hotel prices to park. Diesel and propane generators aside all RVs in the states should have lithium ion and powerful dollar panels. Added at factory cost this isn't the expense you would think and neither is the new 12V 3amp fridges bigger than the fire hazard absorption fridges. We all need to force makers of luxury coaches and average trailers to begin building units that offer the ability to park out in the woods and create their own power with supplemental generators. Liberty send to be in the lead on the luxury conversion but for 2.5 million it should also have a pop up wind generator up on the roof also. Tesla batteries would also give these the power off grid.

@Truthisstrangerthan Fiction What a ridiculous argument. Stick that same money into a solid mutual fund earning a solid 10% annual, and you could buy a new "affordable" coach each year and still have $2.6 Million socked away. Or buy five $500,000 massive home estates, with money left over for less than this one vehicle. Only those born with a silver spoon in their mouth, that never worked a day in their life, think like you do. The rest of the world knows that this vehicle is way, way over priced.

Gorgeous Coach. Ok, here is what I ask EVERYONE. When this bus breaks down (and they all do with some amount of necessary repair), and the usual response nationwide from dealerships is " WE DONT SERVICE WHAT WE DIDNT SELL" WHO is going to fix this rig? You cannot expect to have to drive it all the way to the manufacturer for all repairs. This is my biggest issue with RV Dealerships. If you did not purchase it from them, they won't touch it.

Divide $2.6 million by $1,000 and that’s how many nights you can stay at any 5 star hotel. That doesn’t even include the price of keeping this coach on the road. Also, you’ll have to stay at a 5 star camp ground and that’s far from free. They make your room and take care of everything.

    • @davidgilbert8614
      @davidgilbert8614 5 років тому

Further that idea by first investing that $2.6 Million into a solid mutual fund, then use the earnings to pay for $1000/night 5 Star hotel stays, for decades to come.

Well, dazzled with the interior and the few exterior appointments that were shown, but what about the power aspects; drivetrain, braking... and it seemed that there was a not-so-small trailer attached as well... limits on towing capacities? Thanks in advance ;-)

    Nice RV! Just awesome.
My first fear was that on the inside i will see a country home style interior. Luckily not!!
    Btw. Greetings from Germany.
Regarding the size : it works in the US with your wide streets, and so on.
In Europe i would prefer a smaller RV. Our streets are usually more narrow and the corners are tighter. Hence not much fun once you leave main roads or the Autobahn.

@@RVingwithAndrewSteele Mr. Steele, you would have a VERY hard time getting a European RV with a coach shell that does not meet US safety standards with a Euro-5 or Euro-6 engine that does not meet US EPA standards through US Customs. Otherwise please look up on the web and on UA-cam the Marcopolo Paradiso G7 double decker twin steer bus and the Comil Invictus double decker twin steer buses. Both would make excellent road-type coach shells for far less money than a Prevost. If you want a cab and chassis that can go off road without twisting into a parllelogram (which you learned about the hard way on that dirt road in Arizona) please look up on the web, on UA-cam, and on Dailymotion.com the Tatra/Rosenbauer Tigon and the Tatra Percheron. Please watch the Tatra suspension action in the videos and note the size and width of the wheels. Any questions DM me.

Very nice and I realize the interiors are completely customizable but there isn’t much of a kitchen area and the high gloss veneers over the fridge have a IKEA vibe in my opinion. But obviously incredible quality. One question is the battery bank. I get the impression that they’re not using RV batteries per se but more of a custom battery like you’d find in an electric car. I think he mentioned something like 30KW of capacity? So call it a Nissan Leaf battery or thereabouts? Pretty slick if it’s flat and modular.

I think the presentation was great. Now the details such as the large shower, hopefully with a sit down chair. Water capacity, Dark water capacity, is the floor Heated? Do the toilets come with a taller and bigger size? Can the design be made with bunk beds that sleeps two? Can the sofa be made out into a bed? Are the eating area chairs able to move back to accommodate a larger human? Does the driver seat adjust back for a person that is taller. Does the steering wheel have max tilt up for bigger tummies? Is there a decor other than white? Otherwise it was a good short presentation that gave you the basics.

I agree 100% first off I would be afraid to even walk inside this thing without getting it dirty or messing something up. Hell even when plugging into shore power I'd be afraid to scratch up that stainless steel. That's way too much money to spend on something like this. there are more practical coaches out there. We just recently bought a 2020 renegade xl 45 ft coach for just a little over $600,000 and I couldn't be happier with it. Yes it's a luxury coach but when you walk in you feel comfortable and cozy and not like you are going to scuff everything up. There is nothing this RV has that mine doesn't and I paid a fraction of what this cost. I could buy 4 for the price of this lol

Lmao I'm surprised they don't give you a pair of little white gloves in that compartment to put on while hooking up. Either that or a little midget who hops out at your destination and hooks it up for ya lmao. Idk if you are familiar with the renegade coaches but they are awesome and have everything you could ever want or need plus it's built on the Freightliner cascadia frame so they are super durable and comfortable plus if you ever have any issues you can pull into any Freightliner shop or anywhere that services semis unlike this thing you most likely have to take it to a service shop that deals in these RVs.
