Which speakers would you recommend between the Kali LP6 and Presonus Eris E5 XT?
Mr Digital Stereophony, could you throw some Focal Alphas and Shapes on future battles? Perhaps throw some semi big Bluetooth speakers as well..., just a thought...
Hi! is there the possibility to get your frequency response graphs somewhere? I would like for example to lie on top of each other these E3.5 against yamahas HS5 and HS7? thanks!
just got E3.5 bluetooth version few hours ago. I have been told it's the 2020 new version, about 900 RMB (125 USD) a pair in China. Sound Great! Several days ago, through my headphone(HyperX revolver Limited Edtion), Eris sound more clear, but Wavemaster sound "colorful" and "slightly more energy". I was planning to buy Wavemaster, cause I just need a reliable speaker for gaming and music. But it seems wavemaster did not sell it outside of EU. So i ordered E3.5 BT.
but when i got it, seems I should never worry about the Bass problem, or "all monitors sound more flat than a stereo speaker".
I turn HF +2db, LF 0 or -1DB, that's sound just fine. If i just use default setting HF 0 and LF 0, then it will sound too much Bass. So, Now I figure out the different comes from "Enviroment". I don't have Digital Stereophony's Environment comdition, and I did not use any professional way to deal the environment (like wall, or desk, or put other equiment). So, I suggest, if u test "desk monitor", than use a desk to simulate the real using situation, it will be better.
Thanks for ur test, I got a satisfy "gaming monitor". lol
dam it, i want this wavemaster. but it can only purchased on AMAZON EU, I can't purchase it in China, both in JD or Ali. even it labed "made in P.R.C" ......
e3.5 has better precision on the highs but the cubes have better overall body and bass response though a little bit boomy. E3.5 is better for monitoring but the cubes have a more enjoyable sound (v shaped curve).
Do your Eris speakers have a hum/hiss? I got a pair of used 4.5 instead of my Cube Minis (which were way to boomy for my taste) but they have a noticeable hum (especially on the powered speaker) and also much more hiss than the Wavemasters (which is to be expected when comparing an A/B amp with high-efficiency drivers to a class-D).
Yes, both E4.5 and E3.5 do have some noticable hiss
@@DSAUDIOreview and what about grid-frequency hum?
@@DSAUDIOreview not mine
do the Fluance Ai40WW
maybe Behringer MS20 in the future?
Try out the Genius SP-HF1250B in the low budget range if You can :)
Yeah, I got those and I can't really say anything bad about them. And that price!
the 3.5 are clean i just got mine a week ago...and this is coming from a produceer that loves bass
I'm thinking about buying them too. They are going to be my first studio monitors but I'm very concerned about the bass.
@@uozergen the PRESONUS E3.5 are perfect...check my beats out and u see that am noo edm freak wack music guy😂...broo u can even feel da bass in your chest ....BRO these sound exactly the same as rockit 6
@@BrainWAVBeatz so do you recommend the E3.5s for trance music for example?
@@louieanderson2847 yes u can use them as a starter producer, it's great and has nice stereo imaging..but if u got the money to get something like the presonus eris 5, krk rokkits etc. Get it.
Cons: minimal stereo imaging only from my perspective.
While the Presonus lack a bit in the Bass Part, the overall Sound and stage ist better, clear and sharp...
the Wavemasters have better bass, but they sound like you play them in a tube or box, artificaly widend but hollow at the same time,
also lacking the clarity and detail in the mids and highs Presonus offers.
so overall Presonus wins from my PoV.
Yeah maybe Wavemasters would be good for listening to music but I prefer Presonus Eris for producing music.
Does any one knows the artist of the song again?
which song..there are several?
@@wolfwilkopter2231 The song "Again"
@@melvinaperez2585 Good question on that one, cant say i ever heard it anywhere else but here...
Did you try the App "Shazam" on it? Finds almost anything, just by listening to it for a few secs.
PreSonus E3.5 are studio monitors the sound is not colored and sounds flat
Wavemaster sound warm and entertainment because they are bookshelf speakers
this is a bit silly comparison
turn off TONE DEFEAT and LOUDNESS at WM Cube Mini, that render too much for that size speakers
Loudness was off and tone controls flat
Je préfère le son Presonus 3.5
presonus win :)
