- I'm so excited to be uploading my second video back! This is the first part of me rediscovering my style as a new mom. I feel like I've changed in so many ways and it's finally time that I find clothes that make me feel amazing while also fitting me and my lifestyle. This is only part one, as I've honestly found so many more pieces I love even since filming this video so stay tuned for lots of new fashion videos!

Hey! I'm Raya and I'm so excited to be relaunching this channel as a space of my own to share my new journey into motherhood. I'm in the process of rediscovering myself, learning to love my new body and find what I'm passionate about in this new chapter. Raya! A sincere thank you for this video, it came at the perfect time for me. My daughter is a few weeks younger than Neo and even though I tell myself to embrace my new body, I go through periods of feeling uncomfortable. My body has also grown and changed, and I realized recently that I subconsciously expected I would “bounce back” by now. I’m constantly working towards loving my body no matter how it looks, for all it gives to me and my family. I follow so many UA-camrs and I hear them talk about their insane workouts and dieting plans and fasting or talking about “bad” foods and it just hurts me that diet culture has gotten so deep into our culture. Thank you for being open and vulnerable in this space with us!
Wow thank you for sharing! I know, it’s so so hard. I’ve actively been working to untrain my brain from all the diet culture crap. Especially now that we’re moms, it’s more important that ever to be aware of how we talk about our bodies in front of them! I also had clothes set aside for when I would ‘go back to my size before pregnancy’ but I’m about sell them all. It feels great to start fresh and to buy things for how I look now! It’s actually been a few weeks since I filmed this video and I’m feeling SO much better every day in my new wardrobe ❤️

The first earthy green! It’s warmer and suits your complexion more. The brighter cooler one washes you out a little I think and I see the dress before I see you

I love pink and orange together too. In fact, that's the color scheme I picked for my flowers this year along with a bright splash of yellow thrown in too. I like the more muted green dress on you. It gives you a very nature-y vibe. And you look fantastic in jeans! Any color top will go with blue jeans. If you have an oops with Neo and get something on your top, it's a quick change-out rather than figuring out a whole new outfit.

While I adore the vibrant green as a color, I personally think the more earthy green looks better with your coloring. I LOVE the purple dress with the wider waist band. I would definitely keep that one. The pants look great on you!

And a nod to linen pants which have been a GAME CHANGER for my summers too. They keep you cool and comfortable, without any chafing. Bonus: it's a sustainable material.

I could see the longer red dress with lots of gold jewlery and that could give it a more casual Mediterranean feel and less professional? I love it! And different shoes will change the vibe a lot! Seems really versatile

As a new first time mom I appreciate this so much. I have a 7 month old and struggling to find my “style”. It was hard enough being a “thicker” girl before the body change of having a baby. This is motivating me to figure out what I am comfortable and feeling good in. ♥️
Side note: I choose the bright green dress! I feel like you always look so vibrant in bright colors.
As a curvy and busty woman I can totally relate to your clothing issues. I’m a dress gal too, and actually don’t own a pair of pants but have toying with the idea lately as well. All the pants looked amazing on you, and I love your colour choices! Now the green dresses both looked good but I prefer the brighter one. I liked the purple dress, it’s cute and colour variation is a good thing, those tassel ties will be something Neo will like to play with 😁. I totally agree about a wide band they help accentuate your figure. The red linen dress doesn’t read too corporate or buttoned up to me, the colour is fantastic in you and the fit is great other than across the chest as you mentioned. If the slight tightness bothers you or makes you self conscious, return it, but you could wear it the way it is or undo a couple more buttons and layer it with a tank. Happy clothes journey, and can’t wait to see what you find next.

What a beautiful message, it inspires me. I’ve not had kids yet, but I have always felt like I don’t love my body fully and I’m waiting to lose like 10-15 lbs to really love it and wear the things I want to wear confidently. But following more people who look like me has tremendously helped! ❤

For the green dress choice I love the brighter green on you. It’s so cheery and fits your personality. The red dress you questioned maybe was too formal, I think if you took one of the amazing belts from your mom’s boutique and belted the dress - try navy blue, a pink, or other unexpected combo color to red it would look less dressy and more spontaneous. Also you look fabulous in the jeans! I hav a hard time finding the right jeans these days too, but when you find the ones you just know.

Great video! As a mom of 5, I was curious if your passion for dresses would change or adapt. :). I think you'll find the linen pants your new go to, especially in hot weather when you thighs "love each other a little too much". I have a whole collection of them, and I prefer them over shorts as I hate hot seats burning my skin when I sit down. Cheers to the light green dress! My absolute favourite is the short pink floral dress with green leaves. And I lOVE the long linen fushia dress. Great for a classy summer events, or dress it down by wearing a white tank underneath and open up the buttons, then pair it with some earthy wooden beads and your sandals. You are stunningly beautiful! Keep inspiring woman of all shapes and sizes!

Great selection. You look lovely in pants. They were very slimming, slender looking. You need to wear them more often. Change it up. Short dresses really highlighted your beautiful legs; great calves. I’m glad you’re considering changing it up - wearing the same style of dress all the time, even if it’s a different color or pattern can get old, and it can seem like you’re wearing the same dress all the time. I didn’t find any of the selection corporate style, more of a casual, stylish, chique look.
You’re right, We’re not trying to recapture our twenties, but we also don’t want to look 50 before our time. Nothing wrong with being 50,60 and so on, I know😂. Honestly, I’d take the majority of the pants you selected, all one color, not the patterned ones. That hot pink outfit, you rocked it! Also. The short dresses too. Red, long dress, yes!
