Watching this 3 years later, completely randomly, and tomorrow is Valentine's Day. CHILLS!! The timing cannot be coincidence. So inspired to love and celebrate myself tomorrow, and every day in small ways. Thank you Raya!!
Uuhhh wow. The moment I saw the title clicked immediately, I was like wow I've never even considered to use this on myself, then you told the same. I love how basic things are true for all people: we are just meant to be love/d! 🥰
As a mum, I find all my love going to my kids. I need to make time for loving myself more. Thank you, I definitely found some inspiration in this video!
This video made me realise that ive been saying words of affirmation to myself every day for years without even realising it 😅 Everyday i sit at my dresser to either do my makeup/ hair/moisturise. And every morning I look myself in the mirror and say "hello you" and smile back at myself And i spend 5 minutes either putting on a facemask/ mascara or curl my hair And once i finish always looks at myself and say "beautiful" ,"fabulous" or blow a kiss to myself in the mirror 😅 Its such a small little thing ive always done, so im now reccomending it to everyone, whenever you sit at your dresser, or check your hair in the mirror before you shoot out the door give youself a little wink or compliment ❤ it takes 2 seconds and it can instantly change the way you feel about yourself in that moment. Thank for for this video Raya ❤ youre vulnerability and willingness to share your journey is always so appreciated. Sending you love 😘
Raya, your self-love journey, guided by love languages, is truly uplifting. Big thanks to my life coach Lisa Haisha for recommending your youtube channel during her recent retreat here in Philippines, your authenticity aligns seamlessly with her teachings, creating a meaningful exploration of self-discovery.
Such a great idea! We often focus so much on giving our love to others but don't make the time to nurture ourselves. I particularly liked your idea of writing to yourself and reflecting back on that when you need to lift yourself up. A friend of mine has a jar with things she's done that she's proud of or grateful for - she adds notes to it during the year and at the end of the year she reads through it and reflects on the great things that she's accomplished over the year. I think it's important to lift ourselves up with positivity as sometimes we can be our own worst critic.
thank you for this video raya! i cant believe i never thought of practicing love languages with myself. its been eye opening to compare my love languages with how i treat myself😳 this is definitely an idea im going to keep reviewing and working on in my life. hope you have a beautiful day! ❤❤
this made me emotional :') i have recently been struggling with aligning my love language with my partner, and as a result been feeling taken for granted and unloved. i hope to bring it up again and also emphasize the need for both of us to make space for self-care (and not feel guilty for doing so)
Such an important conversation!! It truly saved our relationship. And yess definitely normalize taking time for self care. It will only make you both much better partners for each other!
Ohhhhh, thank you beautiful soul for such a great inspiration🙏🏻. When I saw the title I thought.. Sure, I knooow, I do it, don't I? ...And after watching this I know how wrong I was. We women treat others nicely so often and forget about ourselves.. I'll make a day to myself tomorrow. I can't wait. 🌹
Ahh this makes me so happy!! Did you take the day for yourself? How was it? Sometimes we need these little reminders, it’s easy to forget to show ourselves love ❤️
just LOVE this! I fully understand the imperative need to love & respect, & honour ourselves, though it's taken me an AGE to acknowledge it... I still have a hard time looking in the mirror & speaking to myself lovingly, but am getting there. I so love the "love languages" thing, & doing that for ourselves is too inspired. shed a quick tear when you wrote yourself a love letter & THEN recorded it to remind yourself... THAT is a stunning genius act of self love to me so thank you for sharing this.
Hey Raya, I just watched your dear younger me video from 5 years ago. It was so so great to hear and I had tears in my eyes! As an 18 year old who's about to graduate, the future seems a little overwhelming and creepy at times. But it really helped me be optimistic. You radiate so much positive energy! Thanks for existing
Thank you Paula!! The biggest lesson I’ve learned in the last year especially is to have full trust. Everything always works out, even if in the moment it doesn’t feel like it will. I used to stress about it so so much and I’m so grateful I don’t anymore! Remember to trust because what is coming for you is even more beautiful than you can imagine ☺️❤️✨
Thank you for this Raya, it was so insightful! My love language is quality time and I do notice if I apply this idea and I put time aside for myself I feel much better for it!
Hi Raya, could you please keep us updated on how your watercolor painting is going? For example on instagram stories? I would LOVE to try it! Although, I have drawing/painting skills of a 8 year old, so I'm a bit worried that instead of picking up a relaxing hobby I would jest get frustrated at myself haha. Please let us know if this book is helpful at getting started
Its the opposite for me but im in usa so im most active at night now i used to watch yt vids during the day but that has changed now i watch yt vids at night so most of them are uploaded already so i can catch up at night

My wife and I studied that over 25 years ago and it truly helped our long-term relationship. Happily married over 25 years later. Cheers
Love this so much I need to be more gentle with myself and I love the idea of using the love languages on myself!

I love that!! I often write down 3 things I’m grateful for and proud of myself in the evening and it’s life changing! ☺️❤️
