Oh I love a good mystery... hahaha.... Reckon you might be right with the magic through the wire... but why isn't the mumma looking after it? Cheers for sharing, love seeing your birds Chris....
Great vid have you finished your outside aviary yet . Plus it must cost a small fortune in electricity and seed for all your birds . greetings from UK.
Thanks, cockatiels can be aggressive to smaller birds. I would not recommend keeping them with smaller finches as they tend to bite their toes. There are exceptions like my cockatiel who has done great with my finches.
Bro I’m so glad I found your channel! Your just like me! I have over 30 zebra and gouldian and canaries, doves and societies and I just finished separating my zebras by sex to give the females a break and I was thinking about 7 months is that enough time?
Nice to see the Zebra Finches 🎉
Thank you I’ve had about 12 babies fledge in the last 2 weeks.

I never used the wooden boxes with the holes, you should use the other wooden nests with open fronts
I do have nests with open fronts as well the birds use both types.
Possible Hybreed just maybe enjoy the video
Waht happen two the red head african finches
I think the gould finch (white chest and black face) is a male
I thought similar, the yellow is quite vivid.
Keep us updated on this baby now 😅
