Awh cute babies especially the bourkes. Do you sell privately or to pet stores or do you keep most of them? I had to keep some of my babies and that's why I can't breed, lol.

What can you feed your baby finch if you can’t hand feed them I got not time got work
I'm retired from a really stressful job,so I built a nice covered bird flight so I can sit in front of it and watch the birds & decompress, & went to buy some zebra finches and can't find any anywhere. There were people that were raising them everywhere. I live in Crowley, Louisiana. Would you sell me 3 pairs and 3 extra females. Where are you located & how much would you charge me? Or do you know anyone in my area?
I am located in Utah. I unfortunately don’t know of anyone in your area that has finches. Most pet stores usually have some zebra finches. You could search Craig’s list to see if there are any finches in your area. Just be careful of scams.

Do you ever get issues with egg binding in zebra finches. If it has happened what have you done to help them
It can happen. Always have some cuttlebone available in their cages to eat. I also mix cooked egg shells into the egg food mix daily for calcium.

No, it shouldn’t stress them out. In fact, it’s better to remove the babies as soon as they are weaned from the adults so that they don’t interfere with them trying to breed again.

The bigger the cage the better for the birds. Zebra finches are fairly common all over the world. Usually a local pet store would have a zebra finch for sale.

Yup most have been sold now and I’m back to my original breeding pairs.
