Thank you for requesting feedback -- it is so nice to be heard. The Black Company by Glen Cook the entire series is great and filled with battles. The Wheel of Time all the stuff you are already doing ....
A suggestion Wizards and Warriors when someone starts complaining about Sci-Fi (besides me) maybe you shouldn't wait a longtime before showing it. Outside of that I enjoyed this video very much. I would love to see a video series on The Jedi Civil War. Or Maybe Star Trek's War Against the Dominion. Now those would be awesome to see on this channel.
Love seeing Twilight Company get some love. I was a fantastic underrated book! A real "boots on the ground" war story for Star Wars. It's funny to think that I was made as a tie in to a game that didn't even have a story campaign, all multiplayer.
You think Luke, Han, Leia and their crew were a little bit infamous to the other rebels? Like "Oh, here comes the popular kids to bring down Vader on our heads for the fourth time this month"
I'm starting to see a pattern emerge here. Rebels accomplish an impressive victory that boosters their reputation and numbers. Imperials crackdown hard on them and undo all that progress. Come to the verge of destroying the Rebellion, but they escape. Then Rebels accomplish another astounding victory. Rinse and repeat.
That's where the inefficiencies of the Empire culminated, they never could stamp out of the last of the flames, they never could strangle the insurgencies before they breathed new life, and they always had more and more slipping through their fingers with each clench of their fists. If there were multiple Thrawn like figures and a ginormous amount of accountants to hold the inefficient aspects accountable, the Empire would be trully unstoppable, save only for the ever so present plot armour.
Ideas for Sci-fi setting you could do that have these great set piece battles -Warhammer 40k (Fall of Cadia, Damocles Gulf Crusade, Horus Hersay, Babad War) -Mass Effect (Morning War, Krogan War, First Contact War, Reaper War) -Dune -Star Trek (Dominion War, Klingon Civil war, Vulcan-Andorian Cold war) -Halo (Human Covenant war)
I would suggest adding to your petition: The One Year War (Mobile Suit Gundam), Mars-Earth War (Aldenough Zero), and the Human-Machine War (Battle Star Galactica).
Holy crap, I was literally looking for the next episode of this series last night, and realized it wasn’t there. It’s always darkest before the dawn, great vid 👍

Well done! Never seen such a full done showing of a Twilight Company battle. They don't get enough love! And yeesh, the battle of Inyusu Tor. Horrible tactics on the part o fthe Imperials by charging in a frontal assault against a dug in, determined enemy where they take horrendous casualties for little gain. Presuming the 97th Legion was at full strength, that's around 9000+ Stormtroopers. If they were reinforced by the Herald then they could have had even more - plus the walker support which normally wasn't part of a Stormtrooper group's complement. Presuming that happened 400 Rebels dug in managed to cripple virtually an entire Imperial division.
Requests: Star Wars vs Daleks, Star Wars vs Tripods, Star Wars vs DC, Star Wars vs Marvel.bWhat would happen if the Empire not only found Earth, they found Meta-Humans with powers that could negate The Force, and a good request is Darth Vader vs Dark Phoenix, since she could negate the Force with her powers. A fair question. My best guess would be that the Empire did win many battles simply because of the size and scope of the war throughout the galaxy. In the movies, comics, and books, we are only seeing one small part (albeit extremely important) of the war. When I was a GM for a Star Wars d6 game many years ago, I made it so the Empire did win and the players would hear about it through various channels.
If anyone wants to see what the galactic civil war in Legends looks like, I recently published a video on my channel encompassing the entirety of the Rebellion Era in that continuity.
That story line was good. The Crimson Dawn storyline was pretty good as well. (it was right after The Empire Strikes Back) Now Luke; Leia; Lando; and Amilyn Holdo (who has a pretty interesting backstory as well as Leia's best friend) are in an adventure to find supplies for the Resistance. Luke has a yellow light saber at this time. Han is still frozen in carbonite and on his way to be taken to Jabba's. The Marvel Comics series of comics have been filling the blanks between TESB and ROTJ, with these stories. The art has been fantastic throughout the Star Wars line of books. There is a lot of material and stories to create in that timeframe.
Ah, DisCan, a pity, I thought for a second that the much more interesting Legends version would be covered with the Black Sun Uprising, the Zaarin Insurrection and the TIE Phantom project...
The rebels have like thirty people....I always wondered why, if the empire was so bad and evil, was the rebel alliance so tiny....if they represent the majority of people's sentiments then it's as if the empire isn't as bad as they made them out to be.....like in the new movies, when they are trapped in the red sand base or whatever, they literally had so few people that they all could fit in the falcon....like clearly no one likes the rebs.
If they do want to do Legends any time soon, I think they should start with the Kotor Era or the Darth Bane Era or the Yuuzhan Vong War instead just so there's less confusion with the Disney Timeline.
