Don’t let the more negative comments regarding the sponsorship get you down. You work hard at making this content for us, which we get to enjoy for free! I don’t think people stop to think about how much a comment can impact a person who has put their heart and soul into what they create. Thankfully, I think most people only intend to offer constructive criticism, which is a great thing even though it stings sometimes. You deserve a sponsorship and to promote products you use and genuinely love. You’re incredibly skilled, sincere, and a joy to watch! ❤
Is a critical comment automatically a "negative comment"? I do not think so. If the intention is good, critical comments should be possible, EVEN without being criticized by others who may believe that only "positive" comments are allowed.
I concur with her deserving a sponsorship to keep her content going. If I could give feedback on how to promote the ad stuff, it would be after the trip in the location of her home and just go one by one with footage of her using the product so we’re not force fed throughout the video.
The amount of patronizing comments she receives is truly insane. EVERY VIDEO it's either the ads, her new boyfriend, upload schedule, etc. that people are losing their panties over. Like why do they even watch content that's supposed to be relaxing if all they do is pounce on any little thing that displeases them. I'm beginning to suspect half her adience never actually goes outside.
I used to watch your videos as motivation to keep applying for jobs in BC even though my industry was hit pretty hard. Now I am officially living in BC and can get inspiration for my own adventures! I love your videos
Enjoyment of the outdoors is enhanced by the right travel companions! I can tell you've found them! 🎉 Your exuberance is overflowing! We're excited to see the motocamping!
Looks like prime black bear and grizz country. Great video combining the sponsor and adventure in together , not annoying done this way , and more practical.
When boating with my dog in rough weather I would tie his life jacket with a longish line around my waist. Because we once capsized and he swam toward the further rather than closer shore… it was quite a race to catch him and turn him around to swim with me.
Kyro is a lucky dog and you are a lucky two,in the wonderful nature of the Canadian Rockies, mountains with turquoise lakes. Many thanks for sharing, enjoy!👍
Canada is really awesome! The amount of wild nature is soooo huge! You’re really blessed to live there, awesome that you share this with us! Much love from Germany
Your 3-day canoe camping journey through the Canadian Rockies is truly remarkable. It showcases patience, strength, and a deep love for nature. Your ability to overcome these challenges is a great source of inspiration. Keep sharing your amazing experiences! And I am Floating Village Life.
What these sponsors seem to miss is that I as a consumer will buy a thing that I see a person constantly using. Not just showing once. I am glad you got sponsored, I love your videos. Kiro is such a good companion♡
Thank you for sharing products on your dog. I didn't know there are so many products out now for the dogs, and light weight enough for hiking as well! I like that water bottle 🍶 for the dogs!
What an amazing young person! Thank you for showing what a beautiful part of the world we live in and how calming being out in nature is. You are inspirational!!!
That was the best line: " If you caught a fish every time they'd call it catching not fishing". Hint: Put that on a shirt and sell the shirt. I don't care about the ads. I'm glad you have a sponsor and a young man for company. I'm also glad to see you growing as a person. Good luck fishing.
Love the video, really makes we want to get my canoe back in BC waters this summer! One little tip though: if you're using bent shaft paddles you'll want to flip your paddles over compared to what I can see in the video. This keeps the paddle surface perpendicular to the stroke and you'll find it gives you a huge increase in efficiency. Cheers from Alberta!
hi madison it nice to see you out and about with your new friend and your dog .you look like you are enjoying life to the full .love the video and the beautiful countryside and mountains it's much better than the mountains here in england even the weather is better you keep up the good work and look after yourself s and I'll see you in the next video thanks steve
I haven't been following your solo camping progress for a long time. I'm really excited about your camping activities. Sorry, sometimes I'm busy with work. However, I still follow the progress of your activities.
I have a lot of experience canoeing with dogs and I don't recommend that PFD, it lifts off the back too much and won't be ideal for swimming or lifting the dog into the boat. Check out the Salus dog PFD instead, it has a unique split mesh back for a better anatomical fit which also allows you to wet the dog's back, which can be necessary for hot days on the water.
Another great video. Just a constructive comment on the bent shaft paddles- you were using them backwards. It’s counter intuitive but the blade face remains in contact with the water more efficiently if the shaft angles forward when the blade is vertical. Otherwise, your videography continues to evolve and get better with every video. Stay safe as your adventures continue. Cheers from an Ontario wilderness paddler.
I can't wait to visit BC next year, starting point in Vancouver and than I will see.....we Dutch normally get around 4 weeks of holidays so I have to plan it well. Absolutely stunning, wild nature and you have so much courage to go into the wild like this. Ok, it is your natural home environment as a Canadian in BC but you are doing things with great ease :) The equipment looks very practical, light weight and strong, like that.
Most dog PFDs including this one lift off the dog's back too easily, they would not be ideal to swim in. There are a couple unique designs out there like the Salus dog PFD with a split mesh back, which don't lift off the back. It also allows you to wet the dog's back without removing the jacket which is sometimes necessary during hot days in the canoe.
Thanks for the awesome video! Beautiful scenery! And great doggy gear suggestions. I always tell myself that catching a fish is just an added bonus to the amazing scenery and experience of the outdoors. Here in northern Ontario, I don't try fly fishing until the bugs are out in full force (early June).... Maybe it was too early (??)
My pupper Bailey and I love going on solo adventures out in nature. We would love to be your adventure buddies one day...wishful thinking 😊. Keep smiling pretty lady.
If you’re watching this and thinking “Woah, I don’t think I can afford all that gear that I have to buy.” - you don’t have to. E.g. in the military we use what we have to waterproof our gear when doing river crossing and sometimes that means just putting your rucksack in a black garbage bag. The result is the same.
Swivels are ok, you might check out Tippet rings to ty on to your leader then tie on tippet, just keep watching videos, they are a great teacher, great content. Keep going. Goggle best dry flies that work anywhere, to add to your collection.
Personally, I love Arcadia Trails. They’re a relatively accessible and sometimes cheaper option for the average owner who isn’t super into dog gear companies and thus is unaware of or is priced out of more boutique companies like Säker, High Tail, Ruff Wear, ect. I liked the companies I have mentioned, but AT is good if I’m already at the store and just wanna grab something. I’ve been mulling over buying the AT life jacket, which is made for dogs who aren’t strong swimmers vs the floatation device featured in the video which is for good swimmers like Kyro. My current dog doesn’t seem to be a huge fan of the water at all. He doesn’t even get his paws in the lake to look at the geese or try to catch fish like my first dog did. I want to go camping with my dog this year. I don’t think we’ll be on the water at all, but best safer than sorry. Anyway, lovely video. I don’t find the sponsorship obtrusive at all, perhaps because as an outdoorsy dog owner, I’m the prime demo the sponsorship is for? And because I’m already familiar with the products mentioned. IDK, you’re just talking about the products PS has that you’re using.
Great video as always! I am curious about your pants and boots when you are standing deep in the water. How do you stay dry? Could you do a favourite waterproof clothing video? Just started kannuing myself and still lost on that front. 😅
I went backpacking around maroon bells in Aspen, CO USA and these locals camped near me were evidently naked and one the guys came over in a grass hula skirt and hiking boots and nothing else and said the girls are worried I might come over so he was just making sure. Or the time naked girls showed up at Weller lake south of Aspen and ran around and hung out in the rocks above us meaning my wife and I. Mountains make people crazy with lack of oxygen I guess. Life is fun when you get out and explore !!!! American Rockies any different than Canadian???
Next video I’m hoping to share my journey learning how to ride my 1977 dual sport motorcycle. Thanks for being here and I hope you enjoy your weekend!
Hii dear 💐💐

ok just use an extension like sponsorblock to block all invideo adverts.

Even the collab seemed very smooth for me. As a dog owner I love these products.
Congrats on the sponsor :) this means more treats and travel for you and Kyro and Matt❤
I work for PetSmart and I’d sponsor them in a heartbeat! I love their products and my dog and cat does too! ❤
Respect and admiration for you. Well done you’re awesome.

Woop woop! Another fun adventure and check out Kyro with all of his new snazzy gear - love it! 🐾🫶🏼

We had a dog just like yours, the same markings he was such a good dog loved camping, boating he was game for anything.
I am so excited you caught some fish! I have been waiting for months. Next it will be on these video's!
This looked like the perfect camping adventure. Looking forward to more fly fishing!
Great to see you 3, fun videos, I'm glad you have companies that are seeing you and wanting to be apart of your journey..
Wow that's beautiful with river mountain trees, you all having best trip in Canada!!!
I was actually looking into buy a water vest for my dog, great timing!

Sponsorships allow her to make more of this content and get great gear for her and her dog . Calm down y’all.
Another great video! Great ideas for dog gear! We have 3 dogs that go camping with us. Kero seems like a very happy camper/adventurer.
Geeez one of the longest commercial I ever seen!
I live vicariously through your video's although I have been in many places in British Columbia and Alberta.
Absolutely, positively a wonderful place ✌️
Thanks for the positive vibes. Keep marching on 😊

Nice video !
Tip , use the bent shaft paddles the othe way around.
Bending forward toward the front of the canoe, for proper
Leverage.

Great point! That’s how I started with a garbage bag and we still do it with Parker’s bag
Nice job intertwining the sponsor into the video! Safe travels!
That dog water bottle is a must have!

I felt like this was a NASCAR sponsorship add. Brought to you by Petsmart. I have to thank my sponsors.
Big fan!! Hope to see you soon in Nepal. Sending love from Nepal.

congrats on the sponsor
was the video sponsored? I couldn't tell 😀
Bent shaft paddles like those are meant to be used with the bend facing forward.
these videos are my therapy Madison. I can't wait to have a husband with whom I will go canoeing.
Locurile sunt foarte frumoase acolo la tine 🤗✨✨👍👍👍👍🤗🌹🌹🌹
Great video, I’m going to start kayaking too..

I love your videos very inspiring. My husband and I are planning to take a trip to the Canadian Rockies , any suggestions on where to canoe ?
you should come to East coast, I mean newfoundland!
especially in summer temperatures won't go above 25!
Very nice view ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great video as always! I am curious about your pants and boots when you are standing deep in the water. How do you stay dry? Could you do a favourite waterproof clothing video? Just started kannuing myself and still lost on that front. 😅
Oh I can’t wait to watch this later! 😊
So beautiful.
Petsmart is the Best😃😃😃😃👍👍👍👍
Does the compass on the dog life jacket come in handy? Lol

สวัสดี คุณ ❤ น่าไปเที่ยว😮
I don't know if The Bowron Lake chain is Dog friendly, but it's a nice chain of lakes to canoe, it's close to, Barkerville.
No dogs allowed on the Bowron loop.
Is it Pet Smart or Pets Mart? ;) My dog loves our Petsmart.🐺👍
Someone found love ❤
may nature bless you
Lol thumbnail looks like the dog is a horse. You're incredibly beautiful Madison. Bless your eyes.
i love your waders! when you walk in the water with them, how do you keep your feet dry?
What camera gear do you use? Your footage is so smooth and great quality!
