- I hope this video brings you a sense of calmness. Spend the day with my dog and I as we explore deep in the mountains of British Columbia. A typical Saturday living out of my subaru outback, hiking for majority of the day, then cooking a yummy dinner. New outdoor adventure videos every Thursday!

I think your channel is going to do great.
No drama, complaining or BS.
Great quality videos of the gorgeous splendor of nature.
Thank you!
Well thank you so much. Grateful to be out there. Just happy to be background noise for 10 minutes out of someone’s day :)
Dont jinx it!
@@MadisonClysdalee Oh this is much more than noise. A pleasure to watch. A great vlog.
@@MadisonClysdaleethank you for being you
Honestly when I found this channel (through YT recommendations no less) I was worried the longer videos would be a lot of complaining because that's been my history with any other camping yt'ers. I''m so glad it wasn't the case here.
I love that you show it all. Even the slips, trips, and rocks kicked. That is all part of hiking. Beautiful country.
Have to say. I watch quite a few hiking/ camping vloggers and you are by far the easiest to watch. The others aren't bad it's just you project a particular vibe different from the others. Keep it up. I'm sure you'll go far.
I've been super enjoying your videos, been binging a bunch this week after seeing you with Foresty. Really nice content, beautiful places, your dog is awesome, and you don't sit for 30 minutes on camera dragging everyone down with your problems. Your videos are a fun escape!
The look on your face when you slipped down that slop was priceless. Great video Beautiful views. Hope your foots ok.
Hahaha it caught me off guard. Thank you! Ankle is all good :)
Loving this beautiful scenery! Great content, videography, presentation, and editing. Keep up the great work. 👍
"He really just doesn't like to swim" - 1 minute later cuts to him laying down in the creek.
That's some top level dog behaviour right there. 😂😂😂
Hahaha he likes it when his feet can touch the bottom😂
The boss level: getting back before dark 😅
I’m just glad boss level was not facing a bear or mountain lion 😂
@@MadisonClysdalee Jesus, Yea good point. Whats the plan if that happens? I've seen bears are mainly just curious but mountain lions?? 😦
Looks like you’re having a blast! You seem to find the most beautiful vistas. Can’t wait for the weather to get cooler. The mosquitos enjoy biting me to much during the warmer months. Stay safe out there.
Thanks so much! I also look forward to colder weather. Lots of winter camping planned. Cheers
Great videos! You're showing your audience the great adventures in nature and how to enjoy wilderness. Great cooking also. 🤗
1:45 It's wonderful to see the older trees like that. Wet rocks are a real problem but I see Foresty Forest does manage to walk on some of them, very carefully, though. The video is wonderful, thanks.
sequoia maybe?
You saw some beautiful scenery even if you didn't go all the way, and the river was fine ambience sound! I hope you and Kyro can go in on a van together if the car ever feels too small
Would love to have a cabin in the woods as a home base and continue taking my care to trailheads :)
You are a joy to watch. Great videos. I like seeing you with your dog and how well you take care of your furry child.
To strengthen the ankle (before or after injury) while seated like at a computer or TV, spell the alphabet with the toes. Exaggerate the movement of each letter to the limits of food movement. This has been recommended by an orthopedic surgeon in the past. Also, doing squats can strengthen the legs, decreasing chance of injury. Bulgarian split squats are what I do and it takes a little time to practice but they allow workout of one leg at a time. Household items can be used as weight. Plenty of videos online showing what to do.
Okay spelling the alphabet with my toes right now!! Thank you
Love your videos so much! Thank you for sharing the adventures. 🩶
I want to live my life like you when I’ll grow up
We love how prepared you are and your education
Yay! A new vanlifer/carlifer who hikes often, love it!
Nice cast iron pan! Great video, love watching you and the pup
You exude such positivity and joy as venture into these wonderful places! Thank you for bringing us along. I wish I could count the number of times I’ve hurried down terrain and lived to regret it-I don’t seem to learn. I hope the ankle was just a mild injury!
Its ok! No need to tell us in advance! Where you are going Surprises are nice. Please stay safe. No one needs to know when you are at a specific place with little ppl around.
Very true! I more so meant whether I’ll be in the mountains, paddle boarding or doing something else. Great safety point though!!
@@MadisonClysdalee oh gotcha :) happy and safe travels to your next adventure! Looking forward to watching.
Haha, enjoyed the sequence about the Levels! Beautiful area, left us with a cliffhanger on the mountain attempt 😄
Life is just a big game isn’t it lol. Thank you! I’ll leave the weekly summits to you! :)
Such an inspiration. Thank you for your videos and expertise! From Frederick, MD
Awesome vid, ty, and safe travels! ❤
This is breathtaking, such a unique and mesmerizing scenery my friend! Bravo, such a professional cinematography!
Great session, be careflul out there I have had a few close calls with my ankle too. Stay safe keep creating💓
New merch idea, a shirt or mug; "Fingers Crossed No Bears" haha. Are you concerned with bears breaking into your car with food in it while you're out hiking? Or does your fridge help conceal the scent? Here in the U.S. it's an issue.
“Please don’t eat me bears” 😂. For the car no I’ve never had to worry about that. When tent camping though that’s a different story.
@@MadisonClysdalee Haha, as long as you politely ask, they won't do it. "Hike in groups, give the bears options."
You are somehow so chill and easygoing, so fun, so sweet, confident, and so real at the same time. My boy and I would love to camp with you and your boy. 😊💕 Thank you for the great content! Hoping to move to Colorado in the next 2 years and so looking forward to lots of camping with my boy! He’s going to be stoked! North Texas is not so great for camping lol I LOVE BC! I’d love to live there too. 😊💕
I'm binge watching your videos, you and Kyro are the cutest! I just love your simplicity, and the fact that you're going on these adventures because you really enjoy it, and I can tell it because you don't try to romanticize anything. You're just showing something that is part of your life, and thank you for this. You're such a source of inspiration and I hope to have my own adventures one day.
Stunning scenery.
Excellent as always! Incidents like that rock turning your ankle are the reason my hiking first aid kit includes an ace wrap bandage. Stay safe out there!
More food cooking Madison. Love watching you cook😂 Just keep safe always. Hope to hike with you when you visit California🙌🏻
Your channel and Foresty Forests are my favorite UA-cam channels. They make my day. Thanks for sharing
Living the dream! Amazing. Keep up the great work
Your doing exactly what I've built my van for in the UK, Canada is beautiful.
Catch and cook is top of my list, also to carve a wooden spoon 🥄
I have a Subie Outback and a dog and have been binging your vids, stole the table idea and love it! So glad I found your channel 🥰
great video, that trail looked pretty tough...glad you made it through okay.
Kyro definatley ready for a sleep 🥱 😴
Great video as always!!
Beautiful outings, especially with the dog❤
This girl must have native blood, she's fearless
Good trip; BC reminds me much of California. You showed the things that usually happen on a hike and I think that’s useful.
Instead of the Tupperware, use a silicone zipper bag. Good for mixing, storage and easy to wash out. 🌿
awesome videos. glad i recently came across your channel!
Haha "weak link" after getting your foot stuck in the mud was funny. Beautiful scenery...that waterfall as you were coming up on it. Wow
that 'no build' setup is premium!
FUN CONTENT!
Great video, ThX for sharing.
Now that's what I call a view, the mountains are really pretty as well. 😉
Get you a collapsible walking stick!
Great video! I would love to get out there someday before I get older. I hope you keep an Inreach with you, being solo can be very risky out there in the wild, best of luck and keep these videos coming!
Love your channel!
Hi, first i would say thankful to Madi who is really take us with enchant scenes. Your videos so real & replete with beautiful nature objects which impacts alot on nature lovers. Please bring more. Love from Pakistan
We sleep in the car just like you the day before the hike. Your footage helps us on our adventures
The way is making you video is awesome
To make noise while hiking they have a little bear bell that clips to your backpack. It contains a magnet so you can stop it from ringing. Nice video! 😊
Hi Madison what a beautiful and Amazing and Awesome scenery just love your video ❤😊
I love this channel! Sub'd a few videos ago and can't stop! Keep up the great work!!!
Wow gorgeous trail and lake
Another thing, if u think you'll be going back late, maybe in the dark, drop some GPS tags, AND reflective flagging tape, for those what if scenarios, like a twisted ankle! It's easy to lose the trail when searching for an easier water crossing etc or maybe it snows overnight
Great Video!
Beautiful territory. I hear you on the bears, we've got a large population of black bear here in Oregon, as well as cougar. I love this! I'm happy I found your channel! 👍🌲
Beautiful >>>>> Thank you .
I enjoy the cooking segment
Wow! Hello I'm from Estevan Saskatchewan...been looking at your videos and they're very impressive and so I have subscribed. Look forward to seeing more.
Waterproof hiking boots are a godsend for me when hiking through creeks
A Bakers Dough Scraper Works Gr8 4 [Sharpen The Edge Like A Knife] Cut & Scoop Up Vegetables...
Thx again for sharing your adventure. The wrap looked good. Kinda like a quesadilla. Cheddar is a nice sticky melting cheese but feta rocks! Cheers. Watching from Ontario Canada 🎉😅
Great video
Great video I hope your foot is all better. Keep it up.🎉
Love your videos😊❤️ Watching from Rochester NY USA 🇺🇸
Thanks for being here 😊
Adoro vídeo assim na natureza e muito legal
I talk to myself hiking to keep bears away as well haha
Super smart about not feeding bears and other wildlife. Hecka good PSA.
Go to Sequoia National Park and those trees @1.46 are just branches.
Another awsum video 👍 cya next week ✌
I love your videos and I even followed your reels on FB. be carefull
Bc is so beautiful best province! 😍 its why I can never move away
Looks amazing..
Hey Madison- catching up with your videos👍 which is a great way to spend a couple of hours 😊
Stay lovely and keep safe always...🤙🏻
Awesome 👌
I enjoyed your sweet, honest, & nerdy vibes.
Nerdy hahaha love it
What kind of hiking boots do you use? Love your videos!! You show all your mistakes and how we avoid them, very genuine and continuing to learn❤
Some scary moments. Stream crossings: take the socks off, wear the boots and unbuckle the waist belt on the backpack. Turn partly sideways going down steep inclines. Let your boots purchase the traction you need with each step.
Wowww...beautifull nature,..
I'm here in Phillipunes...
Love watching your videos! I don't get to hike much in cool places like this since I live in Florida, but I love what I get to do. I am curious, what brand pants do you wear? They look comfortable for hiking and seem like a good option to help with bugs. Keep up with the great content!
You're awesome. Love you video's
Canada is so beautiful, rubbing my face in it 😁✌️
I follow a truck camper that used to make UA-cam videos living out of her Prius and now she has a camper van and her channel is really good
Awe nice ❤
Saved for my bedtime story tonight! 😂❤
Love this so much haha
@MadisonClysdalee thanks! I'm looking forward to it Madison. Have a great day 👍
Love it
I've only just discovered/subscribed to your channel, and am really enjoying it and learning a lot. The videos I've watched so far are the longer "living out of my car" ones, and I'd be interested -- when you include cooking at the end -- to see how you do clean up while carrying (to me) such a small amount of water. Maybe you show that in other videos, but it might be a future topic if you don't. Thanks so much for doing this channel!!
Very brave to be alone in the wilderness but great to watch
Awesome epik video
Was at the bar last night and saw an older fellow watching youtube shorts on his phone just scrolling through, he skipoed most of them besides the nature ones, but he stopped to watch one of yours! I nearly blurted out "i watch that channelll too!" but i dont think he knew i was shoulder surfing 😅
And I thought living in my 4Runner with dogs was tight quarters! Nice car to live in though for sure, I bet it's great on gas. I was surprised to see you still had your front seat in there. Great idea to teach other vanlifers about keeping a clean campsite I'm sure lots of people are still learning that stuff.
I come from Simons Channel! Love yours too! Subbed and Bell on! Great Vibes! 😃
Thanks for coming
Gaiters help keep feet dry on ‘short water crossings’👍🏻 Also help with low thorny bushes protection. 👍🏻👍🏻. You are a “Breath of Fresh Aire” to my YT fare. 🤣🥰🤣
Your dog is literally so cool, maybe even cooler than you. Lol jk. Great video ! Keep ‘em coming 🙌🏼🔥🤙🏽
Just so you know, there's a log crossing with a strap to hold to get across the creek that so you don't cross the creek. It's alot easier lol
